The highlight medley absolutely sabotaged fireflies LOL that song honestly gives me chills every time and a feeling I haven’t really felt with Dreamcatcher in so many years

The whole album is probably my favorite they've ever released. All the songs are very cohesive together.
To each their own tho. It was a very heavy rock album so those who aren't much into rock might not vibe with it, which is fine.
Personally I'm proud of the girls! More bops added to my playlist :P
I also have a survey on my community tab and it seems that people love Justice more than any other songs on the album, so it must speak to the majority.
I don't really agree with your take on justice, but i understand what you mean about their songs being so short,and after going back and listening to their older songs i can understand why some ppl feel the newer ones are lacking.Hopefully we can get back to that balance we had before.

By all means please do have an opinion you're allowed to even if it is WRONG, but don't try to frame it like you're so edgy and different as if your opinion is so superior that you clarify your video as "constructive"

You also claimed that the publisher of this video is acting as if their opinion is superior, but you're acting as if yours is superior by saying theirs is wrong, which is very contradictory. For the record, I don't even agree with the video, but I'm still aware of what an opinion is.

I just happened to pass by and state my comment and that is that they are allowed to have their opinion and my opinion on their opinion is wrong I mean what I said and I said what I said and if you don't get it then I actually don't care.
They can be "subjectively wrong" in my opinion, cause that's still my opinion yeah two can play at that game, why are you getting worried about me?As I've said I'm not the one who published multiple negative videos about certain groups and when called out responding to them with their alternate profile and you sounded like one but I digress.

i think that their vibe changed across the years, but we have to agree that their sound continues to be unique. like, it's still dreamcatcher.
the vibe i see these last comebacks focus a lot more on the CONCEPT, for example: Bon Voyage being basically a song about farewell of a loved one, but looking inside the meaning/concept they're actually saying farewell to earth, who was destroyed.
the same goes for vision, maison and even OOTD(that critizes superficial pop culture). and now for JUSTICE i feel that yet again it's a song that only makes sense looking into the whole concept, the hints and references to VillainS. i really like it, but of course it is a matter of taste.
for the song in itself, and their recent songs in general, i LOVE the instrumental. really, those rock guitars are on point sis. they always be playing with rythym, which im also in for. the vocals are good and impressive, as expected. but it is true that the chorus repeats a lot without variation. it is supposed to be a strong and simple well executed chorus, like an anthem i guess. i understand that it may not appeal to everyone. i do like to see it live though, each member singing it gives a different vibe for me, because of their unique timbre(a.k.a unique sound). i wish we can see live performances of Justice with Siyeon though, her voice style adds a lot to the song.
the message also appeals a lot for me. they always are singing about important matters and i feel proud about it. listening to Justice makes me want to make justice(not to be cliche, but thats true). i think it is so good that they made this song talking bout justice their title, it shows what their priorities as artists who speak up about things are. for me Justice is top 3 DC's songs that talk about these important stuff. top 2 is Sahara and top 1 is BOCA.
and who knows, Justice may grow in me as did BOCA(which i didnt really love at first but now am crazy about😂)
anyway, that's my opinion. feel free to disagree, just please keep in mind that you should do that with respect. respect everyone ❤❤
people in these comments know that you can disagree with a video without being an ass about it right? did boca just go right over everyone's head? sure, i don't agree with a lot of this video, but can we all be civil about it. i get being protective over the girls, but this person wasn't rude at all and was just sharing their opinion... it's not wrong, it's literally just what this person thinks of the comeback, even if you disagree.
personally, i have mixed feelings on this comeback, mostly because i think the title track sounds a bit repetitive when sung live. i think adding the filter to high notes in the chorus and removing it at the end was a great choice. it adds interest to the song and makes it less repetitive, but it doesn't translate well to live performances, because it's dreamcatcher and we know they're gonna sing it live without the filter. i like the choreo, but it's a little hard listening to the same high note in the chorus 3 times, plus all the extra high notes that sound similar, in the span of 3 minutes. it really takes some of the fun out of the comeback when i can't get myself to watch the live performances. that being said, i think the song is pretty cool, and i quite like the studio version. i agree that it could be longer, but i think this one isn't even close to the worst offenders when it comes to songs made worse by their length.
the rest of the album is really good though, in my opinion. i loved stomp and 2 rings, they're experimental and fun to listen to, plus they used gahyeon and handong's voices much more, which i think elevates the songs a lot. they're my favourite type of dreamcatcher song, other than the ones with the original nightmare era rock sound. fireflies is probably one of my favourite ballads they're put out. i thought nothing could top to you and heart of a sunflower in terms of ballads for me, but they really outdid themselves with the harmonies in fireflies. the intro was such a highlight for me. i disagree with this video given that instrumentals are still real songs. the intro sets the mood for the album really well and it's for sure one of the best intros they've put out. not having vocals doesn't make it any less of a real song. it serves its purpose perfectly, the same way the interlude in the maison album is a great song and fits the album perfectly. and i've always wanted some of their other intros to be longer, so i really appreciate the length on this one.
overall, not my favourite comeback by them and i really wished they'd go back to making longer albums, but it's still a pretty solid release. comparing it to maison (mostly the title, the rest of the album is pretty good) and vision, which are some of their notoriously worst comebacks is really unfair in my opinion. i think they're still getting used to working without leez, so it's a bit of a transitional period for them imo.

Thats what I feel as well for someone who is willing to take a more controversial approach on the topic it falls quite flat and shallow, I was looking forward to a more educational discussion but alas it was just a child complaining and whining was not educational whatsoever in-fact the author was very un-educated on the subject of discussion quite un-cultured on the topic of music genre as well. @@mushroomexpress3049 it is! But it’s not at the same level of their other title tracks either. Rising is also very dreamcatcher like and one of their best newer b-sides, but even so it’s true that their sound is changing and it has been like that ever since Leez left.
I personally liked justice a lot! I don’t really agree with OP in that regard (although I dislike ootd, it’s their worst title track at the moment imo), but it is true that they don’t make the same music they did 2 or 3 years ago, and it shows

These comments are something, it’s not like she outright hating Dreamcatcher, just stating an opinion. Anyhow, I will say that I do like the album, but the title fell short for me as well. I didn’t realize that it was short till the poster mentioned it. I also find it a bit repetitive, and find the build up underwhelming (though those high notes are impressive). Not saying it’s a bad song, it’s still got added to the playlist. It’s just missing something extra. Watching the comeback stages grew my joy of the song. (Dreamcatcher are good performers).
They're last few songs: Maison, Vision, Justice have been too short 🥴. They need to flesh out the verses a bit more. Also, i just wish for a bit more diversification when it comes to line distribution in their TT, it's a bit repetitive and boring. The EDM effect in the chorus is interesting and gives this song a bit more power.

How sadly pathetic this video is….I was looking forward for educational in-depth review due to the unpopular and controversial take but sadly the author of this video is quite un-educated in music especially in rock genre history and overall quite uncultured to put it more kindly, the “disappointment” or “dissatisfaction” they feel is to a certain point I can empathise but they themselves don’t even know why exactly shows the lack of educational quality of the overall review it is disappointing I was actually looking forward to a really good argument that made me go “wait ok….I can see that” but alas it is just some random child complaining for the most shallow reasons nothing new added to the conversation, some of the statement were plain false like the producer part it’s quite a garbage review to be frankly honest or more so a disappointing argument piece nothing to be challenged nor anything to gain knowledge or make a good debate on the subject it is a brainrot take through and through. Yes, you’re free to make an opinion video and as a consumer of the subject video you make it was very disappointing and just plain and simple pathetic take on the review

Your entire channel is basically shitting on kpop releases and dragging dc through filth under the guise of criticism. I agree that kpop fans do tend to get obsessive over their faves and tend to hype everything they put out and I would be the first to admit I genuinely could not care about some of dc's releases. However, your validity as a contenr creator that is constanrly bashing every 2nd release feels insincere to me. It feels very much like the moment a song drops you hop onto the laptop to mash together a bad video with hastily written script with no real constructive criticism for the sole purpose of ragebaiting a fandom because all publicity is good publicity in rage bait content. And when called out you whine about lack of critical thinking.
TLDR: Id believe you were authentic in your criticism if a majority of your content wasnt just pointless bashing for the purpose of getting fans upset.
