It's definitely NOT the first time they incorporated the flute. For a beautiful example of a much earlier track that featured the flute, check out _Jee Veerey,_ link below. 🤘😁 Jee Veerey - ruclips.net/video/6uJoN_I9ebQ/видео.html
Oh, in their description of this video it says it's the first time incorporating the Indian Flute, maybe they just mean this specific one? Or the fact it's mixing with electronics? We are definitely interested in Jee Veerey! I will add that to our list and thanks for the rec!!!!
Hey guys. I don't know if you've ever heard Unleash the Archers, but if you haven't, I highly recommend them! Hailing from Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada, Unleash the Archers is a power metal and speed metal band that is award-winning, as they won the Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for 2020 Metal Album of the Year, for the album Abyss. Led by frontwoman Brittney Slayes, Unleash the Archers has a two-album concept story that is really good, for the albums Apex (released in 2017) and Abyss (released in 2020). Brittney Slayes is a singer with the vocal power of Bruce Dickinson, Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, and Geoff Tate all rolled into one. Here are my Top 5 songs, given the lady likes swells in vocals: 1. Abyss 2. Time Stands Still 3. The Wind That Shapes The Land 4. Northwest Passage 5. Cleanse the Bloodlines Give 'em a chance -- I promise you, you won't be disappointed!
That is such a great rec, we listened to Abyss and LOVED it, we want to go through their backlog and watch the whole story unfold! ruclips.net/video/3__QptO-xRY/видео.html
I understand you don't know much about India but I guess you don't want to say something wrong (that's why you checked the pronunciation of AAJ). There is no language called Indian. Indian are the people, Hindu is the majority religion at 80% and Hindi is the language majority of us speak mixed with English. Its like Spanglish, we just call it Hinglish. Bloodywood normally sings in Hindi in most of their recent songs. However, during their cover days, they also used to sing in Punjabi as well. Like they did in 'Tunak Tunak' metal cover and 'Mundiyan te bach ke rahi'. Also, those aren't 'hills'.... those are the mighty Himalayas.
Heya! I hv a request.. Could you plz check out this other indianfolkmetal band, DYMBUR - the song CHILD ABUSE. These guys write song on heavy social issues that people in India hv to deal with, and mixes metal wt indian folk instruments.. plz react to these guys.. btw they hv two song 'Rape Culture' & 'Child Abuse'
