I made the kick by separating the L and R channels and editing the pitch of the transient so that the original impact would be out of phase in order to create that punchy wide sound. But since the body of the kick stays in phase the low end is still mono so it doesn't screw with the bass. I made it originally for this track but since then I've used it so much lol.
Also I don’t know if I told you yet but I thought that a good idea for a video would be a breakdown on how IMANU makes his songs, he has some old twitch streams on RUclips where you can see his full process. Think it would make a great video and would lead you perfectly into a new genre I think you’ll enjoy making, wishing you all the best broski 👊 keep grinding
