Made 5k euro in just over a year designing and posting models on cults. Now average between 300-400 a month. You just have to find a niche and keep posting more files. I think we need more people selling files so as to make it the norm that you pay for files.
I am subscribing to you mate. Cool ideas. Although, never thought of selling 3d models ever before. I was working with the world's biggest eCommerce as a 3D artist then moved to VFX (affected by Hollywood strikes), right now doing freelance works for some clients
Thanks! I believe that this healthy competition will help us improve both of our styles! In terms of their price tag, I love them) it’s hard to go lower when you start treat it like a business
Nice and clear content , i started doing my 3D modeling store since Jan 2023 and i've made about 350 US dollars on CG trader , i managed to expand my sales by moving toward 3D printing community , and the question is with sites like 3D cult or Etsey should i sell the physical product or its enough to have an STL file and sell it ? thank you
Thanks for this video. Does cults set it up so they send the STL to them or once they pay then you send each one separately also how did u set this up for Patreon? Once they add you you send to them or how did it work? A video on that would be awesome. 😊 Thanks very inspiring story
I don't understand why artists give away models for FREE. I made $40000 in a span of 10 years selling 3D models. Spending hours on a model and you give it away for free or sell for a dollar is stupid.
How do you prevent others from reselling your files or designs? I designed several models where I sold physical parts and now it's being copied and resold😢

Thank you for your insight! I was wondering whether it was worth the stress monetizing my prints, but the real value is in the skillset we’re gaining!
You are welcome )
Thank you for being honest, good job.
Thank you for watching

Very encouraging video. I started designing vases in Fusion 360 after I saw your work.
Glad that you liked )
Very positive video. Thank you!
Thanks)
Honestly this is a lot of work for what you’re making. But it’s definitely good to learn how to make new things and have a little supplemental income.

Great content. UAU project was overpriced, it was a matter of time before this would happen. Keep it up

Can you tell us how did you modify your style to get out of the style-copying issues?
It`s still wip, but I can recomend you a book that called "Steal like an artist"

You need to turn your mic up mate you are very low.
