    Everything is nice and explained well. But how do you pick what to print, what items are in demand. How do you come up with peoples need or/and what items will have good margin make/sell?
    Also a bit more detailed explanation about what printer to choose and why(some differences in price/speed/quality whether it worth or not).

    • @ThePrintHouse
      @ThePrintHouse  15 дней назад +3

      For me personally, I always design/print things for myself. If I want/need it there is a good chance others do as well. I will go through the process of listing it available online for sale. I will print only a small number of items for inventory (between 2 - 5 units). If they begin to sell, I will print a larger number of them for inventory (10 - 20 units). If those dont sell out or they take a very long time, I will consider removing them from the store because it is not worth the hassle. If they do all sell, then I can assume that the item has a high enough demand to keep selling, so I will print a larger inventory. I have never and likely will never print items just to "test the water" because that can waste a lot of time. Building a store with a lot of products that have high sales numbers is not an overnight process. Eventually you will have 1 items stick, then 2, then 3, and eventually your store will have 10+ items. At that point, if you have each item sell 3 times a months that's 30 sales. Might not be a lot of money, but it's enough to have some great fun money. When you get 20+ items that sell 5 - 10 times a month you begin to have lots of revenue coming in :D

      @@ThePrintHouse Thanks for the detailed explanation! Yeah, not getting super rich, just to maintain life with some fun and nice work/job. I'm far from doing business from it, just started with my simple Ender3 mostly for fun, but if all this can pay itself or even make some profit would be nice. I've seen some printers like Creality K1C or bamboolab p1p, p1s, or else, etc... Any suggestions which ways to go or they all pretty much similar?
      Also what would you suggest for materials? I do now practice with PLA, but heard people say its not strong, doesn't resist outside weather(mostly sun), heat, and not sturdy enough for some components. Could you give me link to your shop/products (to have overall clean view on some examples of samples)

      Qidi, Creality, and Bambu all have a very high quality product line right now. Creality products work better than Qidi in a farm environment. I only run 4 in my tiny farm right now, but even still, 4 Qidi machines would be slightly more painful than creality machines

      @@ThePrintHouse how would they be slightly more painful the print quality is better they have a heated chamber so you can print with better materials if you need to, there's nothing on a creality machine that isn't on the Q1 pro and there's a bunch of features that are on their products and the customer service is 1000x better, now if this is a a sponsored thing I can see where you're coming from other than that you're all in left field.........

      What about his or others opinions?
      If he has experiences with both or more printers and base his opinion on his own experiences, then it is what it is for him.
      Though it is possible he may have a "sponsored opinion". I will not bare false witness against thy neighbor and say he does, because I do not know, that info.
      I also don't know because I'm new to 3d printer/printing. I did some research, and I bought a K1C and it's been fine,... so far, so I can't not, and will not speak on personal comparison experiences. But from watching videos and reviews they all seem produce (with the exception of a few) very close to the same results, as well as they all have areas where they also suffer.

    30mm screws? Everything I design is with standard hardware. So the handful of items that made the transition from personal need to sale item is as easy for the customer to get replacements if needed. Example being if someone buying a heavy duty cupholder for an early vintage John Deere Gator farm utility vehicle drops a screw many will be offended when the find they need to buy metric. Normal people HATE metric.

    • @ThePrintHouse
      @ThePrintHouse  Месяц назад
