Thank you so much, Ron. This was a relatively easy piece for me to record. My only regret is that they don't seem to make such poignant melodramas anymore (or at least not as many as they used to). Having said that, I'm already excited for the next recording, a truly bombastic arrangement of one of my all-time favorite American composers. Stay tuned. Greetings from Poland. 🙂
You're welcome, Andres. If you have a chance, watch a movie this theme was composed for. It's beautiful, and proves that Christopher Reeve definitely was a talented (if underappreciated) dramatic actor.
I'm so glad to have made it possible for you. 🙂 When you do have a moment to spare, watch the movie. Myself, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Christopher Reeve was actually a very talented actor, who, when paired with the right actress, (Jane Seymour) transformed this seemingly obvious melodrama (the kind of which you don't see much of in today's cinema) into a truly unforgettable, one-of-a-kind viewing. Also, I couldn't shake off the thought that "Doe Eyes" from "The Bridges of Madison County" owes a considerable debt to John Barry's luscious score.
One of the first songs I learned. Still play it. One of my favorites. Great song and as you say great movie. Well played as usual.

Beautifully done! ❤❤
Thank you, Laura. I think I'd rank it as one of the most beautiful things I've ever played on this channel.
Didn't know this one, thank you for showing it to me.
