Thank you for making this!!! This helped me so much!
You have the best vibes. Thanks for the video!
Thanks, bros. That center fin mystery screw is ridiculous. Thanks for confirming how to deal with that!
Thanks for the video chief. I am just about to bag one of these and get back in the water.
If you attached the leash rope that way, it will cut thru the rail like a rope saw. Best to put the leash rope to the side and just attached the "rail saver" directly to the nylon webbing loop. If you don't want to do that, double over the leash rope evenly, then at least pass the rail saver thru both ends of the leash rope to shorten the length.
I don’t understand what you mean. Can you show it through a video
Hey man, just wanted to say that I hope you do more surfing vids. Reminds me of home! Also, thanks for being awesome!
Thanks man!
thank you for this 🙏🏽
Instructions don't mention removing screw. Appreciate that tip! "BAM!" 👍🏄♀️
Subscribed! Damn, I can set it up with my little Kershaw Shuffle 2 pocket knife that has a screwdriver built into it. Totally going to Costco this weekend. Pretty sure I do not need 5 lbs of mayonnaise. But, I do need a $99 surfboard.
Thank you so much man
I liked it..however you need to make sure people can see exactly what you are doing. On this video when I comes to the leash it was literally impossible so see how you did it. Still I like that you are clear and to the point
classic line, "I'm not making any money," then says "subscribe so I can make money," just messin, haha! appreciate the video, shaka!
I agree, the Leah rope is too long on bigger waves it will cut through the board, there is a reason they make the rail saver that is attached to the para cord, I bought a better ultra light leash and just attach it to the loop which is the second loop under where they expect you to attach the original para cord to which the leash is attached.
The screw was holding my package of fins/leash to the board
Cool! Thanks, bro. Do you also need to put wax on the board?
You can put wax on it. It's not a necessity, but you'll get more grip.
I wax all our soft tops with a little bit of wax for the extra grip!
Great question, great answer. As a rookie, I will be waxing. Is Sex Wax what I want to use????
Yes put wax on it's to slippery without wax
@@rodneydangerfield1162 depends where you live for water temps but I always make my basecoat design w either sex wax or sticky bumps basecoat and then FU WAX for the win as top coat. It is literally like stepping on hot gum or tree sap. Incredible stuff. Pretty expensive compared to most wax though like $6 a bar
I recommend tightening the plastic bolts on the top of the board. (Use a coin)
Duuuude that was the advice I was looking for 😅 made all the difference 😊these fins were wobbly as f🎉ck
Why did they put that philips screw right in the center fcs box? I removed the black washer and then just drove the screw in deeper because I was wondering if it were anchoring into a wooden core??
I have no idea!
Did you figure it out?
The way that I removed the cardboard packaging, didn’t make the screw’s function so apparent. We are meant to remove it and it has no function other than to anchor the initial packaging from the factory.
@@docdimo thanks for the reply. What about the hole that is left open? Should it be filled? Seems like it would fill with water. What about the tail guard do you leave that on too?
@Mark.. yes it is anchored to a plywood stringer in the middle of the board including one on each side for which sums up to plywood stringers
All Costco’s near me say 189$ in store
So Cal they're $99 in store. If they're $189, then that is still a great deal.
Have someone buy it in socal then ship it to you haha. That's too much.
$110 in Costco on Oahu
Bought one for $80 yesterday in SoCal
I paid $150 new for mine and it was worth every penny. Great starter or fun board on a low height day and kids can surf it without me worried bout it getting messed up.
It’s spelled “jerry” Lopez.
Wrong. Gerry Lopez is correct.
@@MrRdacos Huh, you're right. I always thought it was Jerry.
@@waltysalamander it’s pronounced jerry but spelled Gerry. That’s the confusion but when people call him Gary that’s when I geek.
@@jacobmcvay123 Oh yeah I know that now. I was stupid a year ago.
