@Cayman23q-zf4ff Your comment proved your ignorance. You didn't even read what i wrote or check the video provided for reference. LOL you for real are a football casual. Ronaldo being the best isn't said by me but Zidane, Mourinho, and all the greats. The best defenders of all times including Maldini, Canaveral, Rio and many others of the era. The defences these days are very soft and don't look to hurt or injure like the 90s and earlier. This is easy times for strikers as compared. Moreover, calling me a casual might just make you sound smart which isn't true though because the point I presented is actually mentioned by greats in the game. So I am sure they aren't casuals and know a lot more than either of us or anybody else commenting here. So please read up and get the opinion of the greats who have played the game before calling someone overrated. Goals aren't the only statistic, it also depends in which league you played and how tough those leagues were defensively and how easy the refs give fouls. Those days the refs didn't coddle the strikers and protect them like today. But for his injuries he could have been the greatest ever. Well kids like you wouldn't know.

What he could do with that stupid ball was unbelievable. He could give you joy. I am from the era that saw hkm play and his injuries crippled him but he rose from the ashes to give glimpses was something else. If at all he is grossly underrated by all the new kids on the block who dont know a thing about the game. He dint dive or ever fake it. He stood strong and took the best defenders in the world head on in the days when hard tackles were allowed. Defenders were out to get you. Not in the league which is soft and ensures players safety (ehich is for sure great) and where you can get away with dives. Those days they would say play on even on a foul. Today ronaldo would be killing it snd kight not even have sustaines injuries as the game is easier on the body. He was IT. At his peak nobody was better.

He wasn't even top scorer in the Serie a.And today's defences are far better setup then in that era.Your a football casual.
Well kids like you wouldn't know.
those legends played their hearts out never got distracted and gained everything with honor and respect
Ronaldo BARCA was top 5 players of all times . Ronaldinho was top 3 in his prime
1- MESSI 2011
2- Cr7 2008
3- Ronaldinho 2006
4- Maradona 1986
5- Ronaldo 1997
To call him brasilian Ronaldo is an insult. He is the real Ronaldo. R9. The GOAT!!
Best striker of all time
Miss Sir Bobby. Great man, great manager
That accent. If I just heard the speech, with no video, I’d have thought it was some russian coach like Leonid Slutskiy 😂😂😂
The real RONALDO
It’s very sad what Barca did to him. He was and is the best ever. The defenders try to hurt him all the time just to slow him down. Football has gotten softer like all sports over the years. R9 made the world watch football and fall in love with football again and again ❤
After all these years he still calls him Mister Robson….. that is testament to the respect people had for him
