Excellent role player for the Denver Nuggets coming off the bench. Nuggets need lot of help from their bench and Russell Westbrook fits that role well and also sometimes as a starter will play well along with Jamal Murray in the backcourt.
This is perfect fit for Russ a system like Denver makes Russ an effective more efficient player because he doesn't need to have the ball all the time and his competitive nature will morale the team to have that dawg in them. My educated stats for him 16-18 ppg, 7+ apg, 8rpg. 50% FG, 35%3FG, 85% FT

So the only thing Russ could do was either be a cutter or a 3nD shooter. Paul George absolutely played shooting guard for the Clippers as Harden manned point with Kawhi in a Forward position. That's why they forced Russ to the Bench so Harden didn't have to share Point Guard duties. Only thing Harden got over Russ is his 3pt shot. That's it. They both have high turnover rates and unlike Harden Russ is actually energetic on defense and won't settle for jumpers as he will attack the rim.

After shooting an accumulative 82.3% on free throws during his first 9 regular seasons, he has shot just 69.2% in the 7 years since then. On jump shots from 10-16 feet, he shot 42.5% from 2014-17. Since then, just 38.1% at the same distance range. He lost his ability to shoot, i don’t know why. His turnovers have dropped only because he plays much less minutes. Its unclear why any team, especially a contender like the nuggets would want this guy. They must see something nobody else does. Maybe they feel they can resurrect the old mid 2010’s westbrook.
