During his tenure, 238 gangsters from several gangs, including, Chhota Rajan, and the Abu Salem gang, were killed in the encounter. He is someone who is known for destroying the Mumbai underworld on the basis of his insane leadership abilities.

I'm from Colombia, and thanks to the movie 'Black Friday', which I saw on Netflix yesterday, I'm learning about this attack that happened. Having not seen the movie, I wouldn't have known of this. It's also good to know what was the context of the previous actions that were made that led to that.

This guy is talking in such layperson's terms. Everyone knows these details. People are viewing this to get some internal information. The same thing happened in 2008. He didn't talk about the failure of the Mumbai police (except for the martyrs). Some top officials were found hiding. He didn't speak about Kamte's wife's research etc. He didn't disclose who in India and Mumbai, I.e., the Localities involved in this operation.
