Before the front fascinators on corsets we’re invented, maids would lace the rich girls from the back, but the maids themselves had to lace the dress from the front so they can easily do things

So, I've been thinking about the Next Costumer show and I came up with something. What if at the end of every season their theme is based on an upcoming movie and whoever wins gets their costume in the movie. Also, I realized the judge's opinions can be lame, so the people watching get to vote.

I love that she always goes the full mile. She doesn’t just paint over her eyebrows, she plucks them out.

Your dress tutorials actually did help me, I was making a cloak for troupe master Grimm, and I wanted it to be a bit poofy, and I saw you pleat skirts, and I did that for the cloak and it worked! I plan to redo it, but with more of a humanoid vampire/victorian style and I'll be watching your videos for any inspiration.

I'm related to King Alfred of the Anglo Saxons, William the Conquereor, King Henry I, Empress Matilda, the Boleyn family (through Anne Boleyn's aunt) and because of being descended through some of the younger children of those Kings and Queens there's also Dukes, Marquesses and Earls I'm related to. But I also have a lot of seamstresses (definitely inherited that gene 😄) fishermen, and according to the census a great great great grandmother whose occupation was sleeping, eating, reading and sometimes cleaning. My great great grandfather was Queen Victoria's carriage driver.
Ohmygosh i got SO excited when you brought up project runway and showed the Six costumes. Those are fabulous and I'm glad one of my favorite seamstress RUclipsrs know that show!!
