Hi Mike, Just found this channel through Dive Talk (Gus & Woody), and have great respect for your work. It must be incredible to discover items that have not been seen or touched for 1800 years, in such amazing condition, and to give them back to the local historians to display. This video was especially interesting for me as I'm pretty sure you were at La Iguana Perdida/Ati Divers, a hostel/dive shop I worked for as a scuba instructor in 2005/2006. It bought back many happy memories above and below the water in one of the most beautiful and welcoming places in the world. I wont miss the air-fill compressor though - remember it taking about 30 mins to re-fill each tank 😂Wishing you all the best in your adventures and look forward to following you 👍
Hi Mike, im a new sub from England. 🇬🇧 Can i just say I have enormous respect. For the work you do. Especially mapping out unventured caves with all the restrictions involved. Your amazing!! Im binge watching all your films, so fascinating. Keep up the good work 👌💯
@@mikeyoung8968 Thankyou for your reply Mike. 👌 Can I ask.. Have you ever been to England? We have some pretty awesome caves.. Alot of which, im sure are still unmapped. I know "dry caving" is a popular thing over here but im pretty sure there is not alot of amazing technical divers mapping these caves. Would be great to see you and your expertise on this side of the pond 💯👌. Much respect.
Wow, great finds! It boggles the mind to think of all the ancient treasures that have been sitting there for thousands of years and are still waiting to be discovered to this day.
You're my hero. If it's meant to be, I'll get my certifications so I can become like you someday. I hope to inspire others like you've inspired me. I live in Florida, and as soon as I have the money I'm taking a trip over to Cave Adventurers in Marianna. Amazing discoveries, btw! Holding those artifacts in your hands is historical.
Too amazing! I was screaming with you guys when you found something. How exciting that was Mike. Thanks for taking us along. It's an honor to be able to explore with you. Happy New Year❤

Nice! What were the Temps like? I notice a lot of bare hands so guessing not very cold.
They were mid 70’s with the volcanic activity around there are warm vents.
