You reinforced that the butting of seams has to be felt, as one of my pieces was thinner than the other, I can see now where I went off. Thank you for the reminder, I subscribed today. It is probably easier with a good weigh fabric
Honestly, it depends on how far off the seams are. I have 4 kids and like to keep things super simple, so unless it's really bad...I'd probably leave it. If it is bad, then I only take out a few stitches on either side of the intersection and pin it to make sure it gets in the right spot. I'll make a video on how to do that soon.

It’s essentially to us deciding, weather we will finish a quilt and even continuing on as a quilters. It’s the small things that go unanswered which makes people give up. Bless you for all you do. 🫶🏽
@@Everyoneisanartist776 Oh my goodness, that breaks my heart! Yeah, I'll get a video together asap on how to fix things not lining up. And I like to say that finished is better than perfect!
Is it a good idea to pin? If so how do you recommend that?

Hi what do we do if the seems still aren’t matching up. Should we rip and resew?

After you sew those two strips then how do you press it?
Hi! When doing patchwork blocks like these, I usually press the strips open in one direction, so all the long seams go one way. Hope that makes sense!
I pressed in alternating directions and my seams still went off. Started off together but then they shifted 🙁 I'll try again.
I have the same sewing machine. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks.
I am a firm believer to use pins when matching seams. Maybe that is just me
Thankyou!!
I like how you didn’t mention having to press toward the dark side. That was confusing.
Hi, just wanted to add your camera is too far away to see what your showing us . Otherwise I enjoyed listening to you.
