With all the talk of the sky islands and link's glowstick arm, I'm glad big rocky boi is getting some love! It's such a cool idea to have a bokoblin camp on a Talus. So nicely done and amazing to watch, as usual!
I love the idea, but also think about the variants there could be. We could have an Igneo Talus with a Lizalfos camp on top that fires fire arrows at you. It would be really cool to fight something like that and find a strategy to defeat it. All I can say is I’m excited

The Bokoblin Talus camp was one of my favorite part's from the reveal; it took 2 old enemies, slapped em together and made something that'll be old yet new to fight.

I just realized that the Bokoblins purposefully built wooden walls to protect the Talus's only weakpoint. Dude, this is like real life Mutualism in a Zelda game, I love this, and I love the sculpture

Really goes to show just how much work,thought,detail,style and artistry go into the 3d models themselves in games,and in this case,the huge epic zeldas that takes 5 years to make
I'm always amazed by North of the Border's talent, but it's the commentary that separates his videos from others in the same genre. Makes the videos that much more in-depth and entertaining.
This is amazing. I think a Great Fairy Fountain would make for a really magical and vibrant model. I would also love to see any of the Divine Beasts, I think they all offer some fun and unique sculpting opportunities. Vah Naboris (camel) just looks cool on its own, but Vah Medoh (bird) atop its rocky perch with its wings spread out would undoubtedly make for a nice presentation. Vah Ruta (elephant) could be interesting if you did it down in its little cove, half submerged and spraying water into the air. And of course Vah Rudania (lizard) could give you an opportunity to craft Death Mountain itself, or at least one face of it or something. Just some ideas to get the creative juices flowing. :) I love what you did with this.
Probably Vah Naboris. The others are all more or less the animals they are inspired by with slight alterations, but Naboris is a somewhat nightmarish beast which I feel creatively distances itself the most from its natural counterpart. The way the legs move and the appearance of the face are so unnatural, it's ultimately a much more mechanical and somewhat darker design than the others, and that gives it a very foreboding presence - especially with the way it's encountered, as a sort of wandering titan, shrouded in a storm of dust and chaos....
@@friedbacon5095 I'd say Vah Medoh is my most favorite both in how the outer design and the mechanics of how the pseudo-dungeon works. Vah Rudania is one of the worst, worse than OoT's Water Temple, as to even get on the damn thing you need to go through this tedious, teeth grinding stealth/escort segment.
This is just the type of crazy looking thing that I love to make. And I also love to look at yours with admiration and envy! It's busy with all kinds of detail that takes a long time to explore with my eyes. Great stuff! And while I'm all wound up I will also say that I like your voice-over devil-may-care attitude and sense of humor. Very entertaining.
I think I'll be using the coloured clay a lot more--it's actually a little easier to work with than the standard Cosclay I use since it's just a touch less sticky and easier to shape

@@NorthoftheBorder I was recently on the Cos Clay website and was ogling their multipack containing one of each of all their clays - including the main colour line. I can’t justify the purchase atm, but it could be an easy way to get a supply on-hand (not sure of the discount amount vs. buying the colours individually though). They’d probably also be open to sending it to you or sponsoring a vid featuring it. Might be worth reaching out to ‘em. Lord knows how many of us buy supplies specifically after seeing them skillfully used in videos like yours. :)
I love it when creators admit to the self loathing that happens when you're making things. When I make arrangements in my head its all smiles, but when trying to record it's just tears and pain.
I can't wait to see how this Bokoblin Talus Combination looks like in game and how the Combination works It also comes with a choice on which ones you defeat first, is it the Talus or the Bokoblin? I think the best strategy would be to defeat the Talus first so the Bokoblins fall down.
But at the same time you'll have bokoblins beating your ass up the entire time you're fighting a talus, i would take them out first because beating the talus takes far longer
Yes but then the bokoblins would be chucking rocks and shooting arrows at you, or if the bokoblin with the alerting horn is glitched out or just doesn’t spawn with a weapon, which both seem to happen a lot to me in BotW, then he will be blowing his horn every 3 seconds and being annoying.

He has quite a bit of Legend of Zelda-inspired art on his channel. Certainly one of his bigger inspirations featured on the channel. :)
