I have both of them. They are lip balms with a little bit of color and loads if shimmer. As someone who normally prefers tinted balms to lipsticks, these are beautiful.

My mom found an MAC makeup artist who had an AMAZING background. She used to do the playboy bunny's makeup for shoots, so she definitely understood the products. When I was 15, mom wanted me to learn how to properly put on makeup so I wouldn't have all of the embarrassing photos of orange face and too much eye shadow to look back on (thank you mom! 😆). She worked on half of my face and allowed me to follow each step on the other half of my face so i could learn. She taught me two looks that day; a more natural day look and a not over-the-top smokey eye night look. I left there with all new makeup, makeup brushes, shadows... everything and the knowledge + experience on how to use each piece and product. It's probably one of the coolest and most thought-out gifts my mother ever gave me. I still appreciate it to this day and can honestly say that my makeup was always blended properly and, despite being a teen and college student during the peak "dream matte mousse days, I never fell into the horrid orange face trap 😆😆. Plus, I had the flex of saying I was taught how to do makeup by a playboy bunny makeup artist 😆.
Mac isn't the only company I've seen do this kind of thing though, this is a pretty basic thing that any conpany could easily do? There's only so much you can do with makeup and colors before somebody looks like they're copying x person lol

Aww I still love them..they were one of the only companies to add a full range of shades that accommodated the masses..I will always have a place in my heart for them❤ ALWAYS!! I just can't switch up on my bae like that..I may try others, but I always adore my OG love, lol.
The shimmer is perfect and especially for winter these would look so good . Ive always been a fan of m.a.c lipsticks is one of there best products ( especially the m.a.c squirt lipgloss) ❤
