I'm light medium skin tone - NC30 - and Velvet Teddy is much darker on me than on everyone I've seen use it online ☹️ I bought it years ago hoping it'd be the perfect light nude shade but it's a medium dark nude on me for some reason 😢 i don't know why?! I could blank out my lips with concealer first but that is too drying on my lips to do all the time, so i ended up giving the lippie to one of my sisters who has darker skin than me. ☹️ i was *gutted!* I want to try Honeylove or Blankety next to see if either of those would be better for me. 🙌🏽❤
Blankety is my fave too and I am super pale with pink undertones! The hint of grey in there just works for me. Velvet teddy looks so pretty but I can’t pull it off.
MAC is an OG cosmetic brand. I remember when it was a baby and innovative and ground breaking. I think the legacy is all of the MUA trained and inspired and I am so happy that people like you went forth and conquered.

The thing is a lot of brands, Mac included, are still to these days NOT cruelty free. And that's the main reason I don't and we shouldn't, buy their products, regardless how nice their products are (as long as a product considered "good" when it's tested on animals) , I prefer to replace products, there are many excellent cf dupes out there.
i feel the same way and its so sad to see that more people dont seem to care about mac not being cruelty free. when i tell a lot of people that i dont wear certain brands because theyre not cruelty free ill sometimes get the weirdest looks. its so strange to me that even in 2023 there isnt more awareness.
Love the shade, and loving the colors!! Your looks are always such perfection!! I’d give anything to have a make-over done by you!! I try my best but my blush never looks that great, my contour is horrible and I can not do bronzer or what ever it is called when you put the darker contour on your face. I think my face is too small!! I do do okay, I think, with eye shadow, but I have just one look with that, and I have decent lashes. Phew. lol. But back to you. You are gorgeous!!
