kamogawa really is the best fitting coach for takamura, ippo, aoki, and kimura, with miyata as special mention. he's the most knowledgeable, well-informed, and intelligent when it comes to the science of boxing theory, even after the post-war (ww2). he's always two steps ahead of anybody.
Kamogawa himself said he was just lucky he stumbled upon Takamura and happened to be his coach, with or without his help, he'd still have ended up a world champion
nekota is more knowledgeable on the sweet science of boxing. kamogawa only trained takamura and ippo, who both have punch-based styles that involve getting hit a lot. so in theory he'd be an okay coach for a hard puncher but would be a terrible coach for someone who has a speed and footwork based style.

In case there's ever an official HNI game, here's how I'd have Iron Fist's ult go: The ult only activates in the middle of your opponent's own ult, and you have to do a QTE in order to activate it. Once you do that, the ult plays out depending on if you're either playing as Kamogawa or his opponent. Kamogawa: Left body blow, sakki or feint to force up that guard, right body blow. Opponent: Plays out similarly to the Iron Fist Ult in the video, but instead of the cross arm guard as Anderson did, the opponent guards depending on who it is (Ippo does a standard peekaboo guard, Sendo has a Foreman-like guard, etc.), and they only get the guard up once they see a fist coming for their face (which is actually the sakki I mentioned previously), and then they get hit by the right body blow. In the end, instead of Kamogawa's opponent on his knees, the opponent will instead be on their left side, quivering and shaking in pain. There will be a ref to hold Kamogawa's hands up, because Kamogawa would be too weak to lift them up himself.
