given that his arc has been complete the writers would have to come up with a new way for his story to continue. My guess would be a story line involving Sophie and PJ. We saw the initial interactions and PJ pulling away because he believed her to be his sister. If there is a possibility of his character staying on it would be there.
I have that show on one of the programs I pvr in case I am not home and I miss it when it airs and this episode was pvr'd and I rewatched this scene three times now. Really intense. Really well acted by both men. And now I cannot help but think that PJ's story line is done and Chandler is off the show. I mean, where to now with that character and this arc?
This. This story. These characters completely undo me. I know the Eddie and Delilah thing takes the spotlight in the series but this story, the relationship between PJ and Rome absolutely wrecks me. By far my favorite storyline in the show.
@@Tomatensalat93 mid is negative? Also all I said is he doesn’t need an Oscar, because he’s genuinely not that great. Sure he’s a nice guy but he’s definitely a bad actor overall
Romany and Chandler were absolutely amazing! Incredible performance. I love the relationship between PJ & Rome. I was on the edge of my seat, but the things Rome said were true, and how he brought up his own close call and how PJ was his family was amazing. Gina got me as well when she was concerned about what would happen. Maggie was very correct not to let them go out there it could have made things worse, especially because PJ's anger and sadness was at his parents. I had to take assist training for my university program and when talking a person down from suicide you don't let someone interfere even professionals; psychologists, police, firefighters will wait until you either stop the person/calm them down or until you find yourself needing to stop(tap out), they have to get your reassurance. It's a bond of trust created between a person attempting suicide and the person talking them down especially if they're willing to talk. This scene was fantastic, man they both deserve awards.
This was one of the best acting scenes in TV I’ve ever been able to witness. You can really feel the emotion and heartfelt love in this scene by both actors!
Every time I think I've watched 'the best scene' this series could ever offer, they write/film an even better one. I'm not sure they'll be able to beat this one though. This scene is amazing!
I still can't get over this scene. it's by far one of the most emotional ones. Chandler and Romany did an incredible job here. idk why they didn't win a Grammy for this
This scene really hit hard for me the first time I saw it and even now I can't get through it with dry eyes 😭. God, give all these people Emmys for this.
I dont even watch this show. I am here for Chandler. Aka Carl Grimes. When he said Maggie I started laughing. If you watch the walking dead you know what I mean...
Yeah & the infamous "picture " in his hands & "on top of the bldgs" & "him not being like his father"(did he say!?) & on & on & onnnn....I hear you!?!?!?
I get you (note my profile pic) but I was also able to step away from twd when watching this because of how broad Chandler’s acting range is, PJ and Carl don’t at allll seem like the same character to me
I'm still watching this now, and I still cry to this all the time. Just because I am relate to feel this bad, and my best friends standing there for me and saving me everytime🥺💖 chandler is one of the only actors that can make me cry this hard💖🥺

Oh my gosh, I knew Chandler from Walking Dead was on this show. But also Mitch (I'm assuming hes like a step father, I havent watched this show yet) is one of the Walking Dead saviors from season 9, the one who Carol burns alive. I knew he looked familiar lol
I have to say, this was a fine piece of television, I was in bits! kudos to that young actor, I can really relate to this feeling, it’s horrible, I don’t fit with anyone either.
I felt this episode really deeply. But it caused me to bawl 😭💔. I’ve experienced depression & anxiety myself, just like Rome Howard has & in real life they’ve got this disease still! It deeply hurts inside!!! I’ve heard every word P.J. was saying to Rome. Mine is different but still this episode had me 😭😖💔the agony that you experience is nothing to make light of! Thanks to Rome Howard for stepping up to the plate & saving P.Js life. Plus those incredibly touching words: “I WON’T LET YOU GO!” And they manage to step away from the ledge & hug each other really tightly! Rome meant exactly what he’d said! Thanks Rome for your efforts to really truly help P.J. 👍😭🙏💔
I keep rewatching this :'( chandler's acting skills made me insane. Feel like i want to hug PJ and tell him I'm gonna jump with him oh shit i love his actor itself and even his role either.
Finally got around to watching this with my Mom. We were both tense cause the show had that warning at the beginning for it not being suitable for young audiences which it doesn't usually have. She said just before he looked over the edge "Is he actually going to kill himself?" and then no more talking happened till the scene was over and then she let out a huge breath and held her chest XD
I really hope they bring back PJ for season 3. I thought they were going make a regular character since he was basically adopted into their crew by Rome.
That psychologist was absolutely right. If I was about to kill myself and I was screaming my emotions out I wouldn’t want a big group of people to run out and start yelling at me or talking even to come down because words like that don’t help it would just make me feel more overwhelmed
This is what people should do if someone wants to jump of tell them to trust you and take them in a different place and tell them who loves them and cares for them
damn it, where's the Kleenex when you need it? 😭😭😭😭😭, I've already seen this episode but this scene, no matter if I watch it one time or a million other times it gets me balling like a baby. everytime.
Omg I forgot Maggie was his therapist but I love Rome in this scene it’s very powerful stuff. It’s completely different from being on a suicide hotline because you feel like you have less power during a conversation on the phone if the person on the other side isn’t with you and by the time you get to where they are it’s too late. How do you stop someone like PJ who let it get this far?
In the real life NEVER. just NEVER try to do the same trick like standing close to a suicide person, sometimes he can make a wrong movement or make a negative decision and you can die with him! It won't help. Try to speak, but don't follow. Trust me, please, i'm a psychologist and i've known people who was trying to help people but died because they had been sure that suicide person won't jump. That was a mistake that costs a life.

This was so many emotions. Rome literally saved PJ's life. He's come so far. Such heartfelt words.
At 0:26, when PJ says "and they liked me!" and he's touching his chest, Jon's watch visible, is profoundly heartbreaking and poignant.
