Yep, all those are fixt for the 2020 model. And the 2021 model is even better. Now all is good and more!
Yeah PIVI PRO is a huge improvement
@@raheeb1 - They definitely should allow PIVI PRO to be applied to pre-2020 models. It's not like it's a new feature. It just fixes one that clearly never worked properly. I'm looking at a 2018 right now and this is one thing stopping me from committing to the car.
Thanks for addressing the “crackle” you sometimes hear in the music. I’ve heard it a few times. I thought my lightning cable had a short in it

There are a couple of annoying things BUT I have owned numerous expensive vehicles in my life (I’m 75).....the 380HSE is the best car I have ever owned including Porsche Benz Audi all top of the line cars. I get it that the radio sometimes disappoints rarely but in all other aspects of the car its amazing.

I 100% agree that the remote start, on any Land Rover, is the most annoying thing I have ever seen. Constant logging in (why can't it remember me?) And lag to even get to the button....blah!

i've had my Velar R Dynamic since June. i love it, but i could make a list twice as long as this guy.
the electronics are way worse than he let on. i've had issues with the radio where i can't change the station. or it wouldn't come on at all. or the satellite radio wouldn't work. sometimes the radio comes right on when you turn it on, other times it takes 30 seconds.
also, sometimes when you put it in Park and open the door the engine shuts off. other times, not so much.
the hydraulics seem to have a mind of their own. i don't even bother trying to manage them.
the Nav is awesome, but it never knows who i am, no matter how many times i log in. hence, i don't get all the features of online navigation.
the seats take a solid 10 minutes to warm up.
i've had problems with the phone not picking up on the bluetooth.
i know, first world problems. and i do love the vehicle. but for $80k and a vehicle known for its technology it's a bit disappointing.
Wow I’ve read so many opinions like this. I’m on the cusp, and am absolutely in love with the Velar, and was almost about to buy...but I guess BMW or Mercedes it is. Because nothing compares to German I guess. For a car this expensive, the Brits really need to step it up.:(

Most of your complaints are completely legit though, i have a velar, and you are correct about the stubborn features. Also sometimes the screens wont even turn on.... 😢😢😢 gotta turn off the car and restart the damn thing. 😅
Same with this and BMW 5 series 2018 I have both my wife loves the Velar

Is yours Fuji white (flat) or the yulong metallic? What do you recommend on the fence if the metallic is worth it.
Mike Ruffalo it’s Fuji white it’s really a personal preference what you like more my Denali is white pearl metallic looks pretty sweet as well
Faced the issue with the infotainment system twice on different vehicles when I did test drive. Happy moving away from it and going for Acura RDX.

anyone bothered by these little imperfections should buy a Lexus. This car is all about style and image. I also must say, it has the best AC of any car I owned including Mercedes, BMW, Infinity, Honda. Its acceleration for the 4 cylinder version i have is amazing. The reviewer is right about all the 5 things most of which get corrected on their own. He did forget to mention the auto engine pause at stops are inconsistent. The 5th on the list for audio popping sounds was corrected by having to exchange a sound module or amp. One other issue I have is occasionally I get a strange sizzling sound when accelerating coming from under the steering dashboard area. Dealership tech think its from the difference in temp of the panels expanding and rubbing on one another. I didn't want to bother venturing to correct this because it is a lease and often not even noticeable or even present enough to give up the car for a week to experiment.
The video is great and the explanations are too. Don't worry about the envies and lazies. You're doing something useful while they just criticize and do nothing

Nah Gulo hi I didn’t like it at all my handles had problems and bits and pieces kept falling off so I traded it in for a Range Rover sport and it’s much better with out the handles and it’s better in terms of quality:)

In the Velar's defense, it is a brand new model. It's probably bound to have quirks and bugs, even more than other RR's until it's been out for a few years.

I am always amazed by the pointless advice from people who don't really make content, if you don't like all of the video fast forward its really not that hard, then post a comment taking up more of their supposed valuable time, the vid is 10 minutes long or I can't put in mid roll ads and get paid for my time.

One can see it. I confuse the Explorer for the bigger Range Rover and vice versa. I wonder how much they share that you could get an exterior look by swapping body panels - I can imagine the interior is a whole other animal. At that point would be sort of cheaper to buy the rover.
