Nine Circles felt much easier to beat for me because of how consistent it gets. Jawbreaker felt really really hard for me to beat because of how awkward the wave is. I stand firm that nine Circles is harder because of the predrop and the last cube. Overall a good video to clear the debate once and for all!
I don’t really have a fair opinion because my hardest nine circles level was trump circles before jawbreaker (which was a big jump) and I spent more time on jawbreaker. I did beat nine circles like 5 days ago and I can agree that in my standpoint, I think jawbreaker is harder.
When I did Nine Circles, I kept dying to the transition into the dual at 80%. I beat Jawbreaker before Nine Circles and I fluked it. imo NC is easily harder
@@therunawaygang76 respect that coment, the first wave is pain but it is paintully boring at my opinion, and dthe miniwave it's fun until you get to the inverse portal where you need to spam in a closer area than the previous one and it feels like its about 70% of your luck and 30% about yor skill
Normal wave + regular mini wave are consistent for me, inverted mini wave is where I had problems. I found it extremely awkward and luck based. Also I fluked the last cube first try without much practice on that hehe
I beat both of these very recently, and I have to say that Nine Circles is harder. Jawbreaker essentially doesn’t have a predrop due to it being completely free. Not that Nine Circles has a particularly hard predrop either, but it’s definitely harder than Jawbreaker’s. The waves on both levels honestly seem pretty similar in difficulty. I found the Nine Circles wave to be harder because I struggle more with the mini-wave. I think that Nine Circles’s wave has a more consistent difficulty, while Jawbreaker’s is easy up until around 68%, so it took less time for me to learn the Jawbreaker wave. I could see one having a different opinion on which wave is harder though, because it is pretty close. The ending cube of Nine Circles adds a kind of challenge that Jawbreaker really doesn’t have in the form of nerves. Since Jawbreaker is pretty easy up until 68%, you really don’t feel that much pressure while getting far. But because Nine Circles keeps a consistent difficulty, getting far makes you more nervous and therefore makes you play worse, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the ending cube. So overall, I think Nine Circles is harder. However, I could understand if you found Jawbreaker harder.
I've beaten both and I find Jawbreaker a bit harder than Nine Circles because of 66% - 100% being so awkward and with nerves It's even worse. Nine Circles also gets super consistent after a while and you end up getting to 60% - 70% every couple minutes, Jawbreaker is also super consistent like Nine Circles but the last 34% makes It hard to get the end.
yeah i beat jawbreaker yesterday and i realized the last part of the wave is extremely inconsistent and awkward, i died past 60 like 5 times before beating the level.
Nine circles was harder for me, but it was also my first hard demon and first demon that had a huge focus on wave. That level made me so much better at the game, so when I tackled jawbreaker next, my new skillset helped me clear it much quicker.
For me, it felt like an extreme demon since it's literally the first wave level I've ever completed on my mobile. It's my second demon after Clubstep and took me 15200 attempts to beat, and I beat it just an hour ago!
I passed nine circles on my phone in 3 thousand attempts and passed jawbreaker for 4 thousand attempts, now I'm going through a cataclysm on the phone and yes, I communicate through a translator, I'm from Russiaᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
@@vedantsridhar8378why did you jump from clubstep to nine circles?? 😭😭😭 I first beat all the main level demons and then beat some free easy demons. Then only grinded challenge levels I created that are like medium-hard demon difficulty and then I had like 10 easy demons complete and 0 medium demons. And 0 hard demons. I jumped straight to nine circles and beat in 2.6k att. Rn I’m trying to beat jawbreaker. I have only like 1.7k att and my best is 83% but I still think jawbreaker is harder than nine circles. I’m on mobile btw
@@Beyond.Birthday. This is because I really enjoy doing challenges. Every time I get good practice runs, my happiness shoots up like anything. And when I beat the level, I feel so much pleasure for a day or even two. And of course, the proud feeling of jumping to such a hard level can last for a lifetime. Now I'm directly jumping to Sakupen Hell and managed to cover the entire level in just 3 runs.
I've beaten both in the same day and I think nine circles is way harder with its challenging predrop tight wave gaps and weird transitions. Jawbreaker would only be harder if you struggle with sudden gravity changes.
Yeah, I might have been biased in that aspect of it. I found the gravity changes to be extremely difficult compared to nine circles. Thank you for your opinion!
I’ve beaten both recently, and then stumbled across this video. I would have to agree with everything he says. Nine circles took me 3,000 attempts to beat, while jawbreaker took me about 800. However, I beat nine circles first, which majorly boosted my wave skill to prepare me for jawbreaker. I have played both in the past before, and nine circles was still harder. Thanks for covering this, as when I asked the community which is harder, they said Jawbreaker.
damn this was so entertaining, but i would say that nine circles took me 3k attps to beat, while i have 70% on jawbreaker and i have 1.3k attps on jawbreaker, but i still think nine circles is harder since those timings in jawbreaker are free to me
I personally find the Jawbreaker wave Easier than the Nine Circles wave and all other parts are around the same difficulty for me besides the ball in Nine Circles being way harder.
I personally think Jawbreaker is harder because I'm so so so much worse with wave than timings. I don't have a problem with the "click once u enter" gravity portals since I'm pretty good with that, but the spam parts are so annoying and inconsistent. If that factor doesn't exist, then nine circles would def be harder
Nine Circles last cube is what sets it apart from Jawbreaker for me. NC in general is structured much better to build tension and IMO is a fair bit harder.
For me the start of nine circles was harder and the wave of jawbreaker was harder. I knew that if i got to the wave of nine circles i would get very far but for jawbreaker i could get to the wave almost every attempt. However i died 6 times to the last cube on nine circles and haven’t yet completed jawbreaker due to me being lazy. For me they are around the same difficulty.
Nice video and analysis! In my opinion, I still think Jawbreaker is harder. Jawbreaker's wave is really hard to learn. The wave can be divided into 4 sections, and each section plays so similarly to each other, making it hard to gain muscle memory quickly, as you will very likely mix up the input patterns. (Happened to me a lot, where I play say, Section 4 using Section 3 inputs causing me to die.) Even after learning the parts, it still can get confusing at times. In addition, there are multiple bugs/really unforgiving timings in Jawbreaker's wave, such as the input at 84, where hitting it even slightly too early/late will kill you. Compare this with Nine Circles, where the wave is very forgiving, with almost no bugs/unfair timings, and the difficulty of each wave section decreases as you progress. I agree that the predrop of NC is way harder than Jaw's, and it was definitely a roadblock when it came to trying to beat it. Regardless, it still doesn't make NC harder than Jaw for me, as at least the hard predrop is at the beginning, allowing you to gain consistency faster, unlike the chokepoints of Jawbreaker.
Wow, that is a very educated, well thought out opinion. Huge respect to you. I completely understand where you are coming from and it does not surprise me at all that one might think that. Thank you for sharing!
I just recently beat Jawbreaker, and after beating it I am now scared of Nine Circles Levels even though Jawbreaker increased my skill with wave drastically (I play on mobile). I was considering going for nine circles so its nice to know people's opinions of the stage's difficulty
Funnily enough, my personal opinion was that it was obviously Nine Circles that was the harder level, not just because of pre-drop and ending, but just because the wave in jawbreaker came so easily to me, and the wave in Nine Circles took a longer time for me to get. Admittedly, beat NC before JB, so my skill level probably got increased in between the two levels, but yeah... Strange to see A thing I feel like is easily overlooked though, is how flawed the score system really is... Take a level like The Janus Miracle for example, the ship parts are easily scored 10, but the rest of the level is essentially free. For fun sake, let's just say we were comparing it to NC, then it's very possible that the overall score of TJM would be lower than that of NC, despite being signigicantly harder to anyone attempting it. Just a little bit interesting to me I'd say Great video though! Kept my interest all the way through :)
Yeah, the rating system is flawed, but I felt like it was the easiest way to keep track of the two levels, considering how similar the two levels are laid out. I think for my next rendition of this style of video, I will compare it based on percent and not gamemode, and keep the difficulty relative to the overall difficulty of both of the levels, and not just to each other. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it :)
Tried Nine Circles now Nine Circles: Cube: Harder 7 Star Ship: Medium Demon Ball: High-End Easy Demon 2nd Cube: Easy 2 star Wave: Low-End Hard Demon 3rd Cube: Insane 8 star
In my opinion jawbreaker is far harder, jawbreaker's wave is so confusing and difficult that it took me hundreds of attempts of practice to get it right. Nine circles wave is absolutely free and you can pretty much fluke the level from 40 percent if you practice enough. The final cube is a chokepoint but after half an hour of practicing it gets (arguably) nearly as consistent as the first cube, so you are unlikely to choke it unless you get nerves. In terms of predrops nine circle's is far more difficult, in my opinion being nearly as difficult than the wave itself. However, jawbreaker's ship is mildly difficult.
Jawbreaker is more fun in my opinion, i hate beginning heavy levels, and the nine circles predrop builds unnecessary nerves that costed me many good runs.
nine circles is harder because both waves are free the ending in nine circles destroys your nerves but in jawbreaker you dont even know you are at the ending if you are focused
IMO, Jawbreaker is actually harder. In Jawbreaker, during the ship you actually have to click and somewhat straight fly while in Nine Circles you can just slide on the blocks. The cube also feels harder, since Nine Circles isn’t really memory and doesn’t have any hard clicks while in Jawbreaker there’s at least a little bit of memory and feels tighter.
this movie is bad. the beginning of nine circles is actually more difficult but the wave on jawbreaker is almost an insane demon dfficulty, and it is from 20% to 100%, so jawbreaker is almost insane demon. But if you are very good at wave, jawbreaker can be easier for you
I beat Jawbreaker as my first *real* hard demon while I beat Nine Circles after ICDX, after lots of procrastination. I fluked Nine Circles from 70 while dying at 95 and 96 in Jawbreaker. I took roughly 2700 attempts for Jawbreaker and only around 1800 attempts for Nine Circles. While I do say my wave skill _may_ have improved, I believe None Circles might be harder. That said, I took 1400-ish attempts for Fairydust so attempts are not always a good indicator.
I've beaten JB in 2016 and NC in 2019. They were both equally hard for me, which means that NC has to be harder (as my skill grew throughout the years).
I disagree with that just because you said "nc HAS to be harder". It may be harder for you, but it will change for other people with other skillsets. For you it probably was harder, but objectively, that may not be the case since opinions on this topic vary throughout the community. Thanks for your comment!
Imo nine circles is SOOOO MUCH harder than jawbreaker, jawbreaker both has a easy wave and easy predrop for me, lots of people say that jawbreaker has a harder wave but I personally disagree, I think it’s a medium demon honestly lmao it’s just so consistent for me
I guess Jawbreaker is easier, because... I'm Just Made for Wave, and Not for ship and so on, of my gamemodes, my best IS Wave. And also, I didn't Bet the nine circles ball ship and the Last Cube Part, so that why my opinion: Jawbreaker: Bit memorizing and spamm, than it's done (75% Jawbreaker with no medium demons completed, current demons: 20)
I agree with this video but i think the Nine Circles wave is harder the the Jawbreaker wave.Dont get me wrong,i havent beaten both levels, but I am skipping from B to Jawbreaker (I have 89% after 5 days).
Even tho nine circles is harder than jawbreaker, I highly recommend beating nine circles first. Because the wave is more consistent than jawbreaker. And before I beat nine circles. I did a practice run on jawbreaker and said “this is definitely harder” then I beat NC and moved onto jawbreaker for my 6th hard demon and the more I played it, the more I realize that it’s easier than nine circles. But like I said, beat nine circles first, to withstand the awkward gameplay of jawbreaker. The wave in jawbreaker is harder than nine circles but everything before the drop in nine circles is pretty difficult, way harder than the predrop for jawbreaker.
personally, I believe Jawbreaker is way harder, I had gotten so consistent at the Nine Circles pre-drop that I could get to the drop every attempt and the moment you get to the drop, Jawbreaker becomes harder (as you mentioned), the main thing with Jawbreaker is the difficulty spike near the ending, when I say I was getting to 70% every attempt in Jawbreaker but it still took me 800+ attempts, I'm not lying
I have 6 hard demon slayen so i'm a new hard-demon-skilled player, and i can proof that nc is harder bc: My Nine Circles att count:2679 My Jawbreaker att count:2078 Note:Also i'm playing on 60 hz mobile, and i grind nine circles as my 2nd hard demon whilst jawbreaker was my 6th
I agree fs. I was practicing Nine Circles, and was planning to do Jawbreaker after since I thought it was going to be a lot harder. I tried out Jawbreaker, and found it to be a whole lot easier. I even though there's some awkward portal spots, I feel like it syncs almost perfectly with the music, so you know exactly when to click.
beat nine circles 2 days ago and jawbreaker just now, they are very different levels but I think Jawbreaker is slightly harder due to how weird some of the wave is, it overall feels much less forgiving than nine circles. the Nine Circles pre and post drop also felt very easy to me
Imo Jawbreaker is harder because most wave parts are very tight and... you know, 84%, the gravity changes many times and there is some timings with portals as you said. Nine Circles is longer, but the wave is easier(everything is still my opinion), The fact is: Both of the levels are very hard!
I decided to beat jawbreaker because the first 3 parts in nine circles seemed ridiculous to me but i didnt know that the wave in jawbreaker was considered hard
For me, Nine Circles was much harder than Jawbreaker mostly because of the mini wave part. The first wave part got pretty consistent for me but still took some time. Also the cube at the end killed me like 5 times. I don't know why, but I was able to do the Jawbreaker wave very easily until the end at around 60-70% which was where I had some trouble. btw Nine Circles took 3 times longer for me to beat than Jawbreaker. I wrote a lot
a bit of a late comment, but ive beaten jawbreaker and had runs on nine circles. when i was beating jawbreaker, got really unluck with the portals in the wave. it was basically a 33% chance i would miss a portal and i die. id say wave is my best gamemode and id also say nine circles is harder.
I think jawbreaker is harder but i can see the point of the people who say nine circles is harder Jawbreaker may be shorter but it doesn't split into specific segments like nine circles does. If someone says "the upside down wave part" or "the mini part" those are all recognisable, those dedicated segments make the level more consistent, jawbreaker on the other hand has those parts all over the place, making it harder to get consistent but thats just my opinion lol.
cool lol. I think jawbreaker it's easier. The first time you beat it, it just feels extremely hard, but once you become kinda good at wave you realize it's actually really consistent. I get your point tho
No, the Jawbreaker's wave is shorter than the Nine Circles, with 1s of difference. Jawbreaker as a whole is shorter than Nine Circles, but what makes up for its difficulty is the wave. Both waves require a minimum of spam (Jawbreaker at the narrow gaps and NC with the mini waves) (Tbh, I'm now practicing Jawbreaker's wave and I'm struggling less here than in NC's wave)
Well, I think you’re right. I thought that Jawbreaker is harder because I caught unluck on it. But now I see that Nine Circles is harder and it’s irrefutable
Nine Circles is harder because of the non-wave parts If we replace the beginning of NC with an easier beginning, I don't think it would even be a hard demon. I did beat Jawbreaker last year in like 6k attempts which still my hardest to this day, but I'm planning to beat Arcane Ascent then do HyperSonic after that I never beat NC because the beginning is just too insane for me to handle, although I did runs where I passed the entire wave part of NC which didn't give me much trouble. If we compare only the wave parts Jawbreaker is miles harder than NC That's my opinion :)
It really comes down to skillsets though I found nine circles easier because I'm good at ship and personally think jawbreaker has a harder wave section. (and the last cube in nc was easy to get consistent at)
I've only beaten Jawbreaker shortly after it came out, but never touched nine circles, because I thought nine circles is way too hard and thought of Jawbreaker as the easy version of nine circles.
The jawbreaker wave felt a lot easier because it's very sync based. If you can get in the flow of the song, you can pass the wave fairly consistently. NC is a lot more skill based, and while technically easier, it's a lot more difficult to be consistent at because the music doesn't carry it as much. What's really weird is that I find fairydust to be easier than both, I beat that in like 1400 atts, whereas the others took me around 3k. And I beat fairydust first.
The jawbreaker wave is undeniably harder, but the intro and outro of nine circles are very difficult compared to jawbreaker. So i think that some people would find nine circles harder and vice versa.
Although everything you said makes sense, I do still think jawbreaker is harder (I have beaten both) Reason 1: I know the beginning of nine circles is hard, but it’s super consistent and when I was practicing the wave I basically died there 1/10 tries which is really not bad. Reason 2: You forgot to mention one thing in the wave part, which is that there are no indicators telling you where to go, even though there are indicators in nine circles. Reason 3: The jawbreaker wave is super inconsistent, buggy, has awful choke points, and dumb hit boxes. Let me explain. Many points in the level don’t work right half the time, such as this really dumb transition into a yellow portal towards the end of the wave where you need to do a micro click to get over a part that you should just go over normally. For hit boxes, at the beginning of the wave there is a fake with no indicators that has a one block backwards slope hit box which is annoying and buggy. Reason 4: NC: 1200+ atts (I beat first) JB: 1450+ atts Thank you for reading ❤
Personally, I’m current trying to beat Jawbreaker. But I have also beaten Nine Circles on mobile. I have 95% on Jawbreaker which I fluked from 50ish. To be quite honest Nine Circles was incredibly easy for me (even on mobile) yet Jawbreaker is very hard (on pc), so in my opinion I think Jawbreaker is a lot harder than Nine Circles just because if I’m able to do Nine Circles on mobile I should easily be able to do Jawbreaker on pc but I can’t so therefore I think Jawbreaker is harder than Nine Circles
jawbreaker is def harder imo. i have more atts on 9 circles only because i used to mess around on it in practice back when i was younger and not that good. both levels only took me 2 days of straight practicing to complete. the 9 clrcles pre drop became super easy to me and so did the jawbreaker one. but the wave in jawbreaker has so many more crucial timings... i got 3 deaths at 86%, one death at 93%, and one death at 98%. The worst death I got on nine circles when around 80% i believe, i did not die ONCE to the final cube in nine circles in normal mode. it mightve been fluke, but im not sure. once u memorize the timings it becomes easy, however, the ball in jawbreaker does have some timings believe it or not. some orbs must be hit a little earlier/later than you would think.
right now, i cant really tell the difference since I can easily 1 attempt both, but back when I was starting out, I did nine circles as my hardest, and then jawbreaker right after nine circles. At the point, I could easily say that jawbreaker was harder from a newer player perspective. The wave is so much more inconsistent, and tends to have a more "difficult" style of gameplay.
when i beat jawbreaker 80% of the wave was memory. The blue just hurt my eyes too much so i just memorized how the wave went and beat it like that. Also there is this one thing in jawbreaker where you go down with the wave and you have to keep going down but you hit an upside down portal mid-way through so you have to hold at the same time as you hit the portal.
For me, ironically NC (353 + 120 editor) took me less attempts than Jawbreaker (455 + 332 editor), and as of now I still haven't beat the latter because of how annoying some parts are rather than how difficult it really is. While NC's pre-drop is significantly harder than Jawbreaker, there's even the final cube, Jawbreaker just has the spike diamonds where you spam shortly to get past it, but I found them very rough and confusingly hard to read in hitboxes and can easily mess up the timing while NC has longer clicks which are more accommodating. The thing is I beat NC in mobile where I switched to PC a couple months ago to try Jawbreaker, so there might be this skill diff in my switch-up or something else. Want to hear your thoughts, could just be me being bad at this, and I'll probably edit this if I beat Jawbreaker.
Your point is valid but I think both levels are difficult in their own ways. Some people who struggle at timings in wave (clicking slightly earlier or later into a gravity portal) will find jawbreaker more challenging and some people who always miscalculate their spam at tight corridors especially where they cannot see will find jawbreaker very challenging. People who struggle at ship and ball timings will find nine circles harder or people who get nervous easily because of stress test at the end of nine circles. Overall, both levels are very difficult.
Jawbreaker is unbelievably harder to me. I played Nine Circles as one of my first hard demons, and even after me getting 75% on acu, i still can’t beat jawbreaker lmfao.
The difficulty of the predrop is extremely fun and the wave gets incredibly consistent in nine circles, but in jawbreaker the free predrop sections instantly go into the very hard wave section which is also very fun as nc's predrop but isn't as consistent
As a victor of both, I think Jawbreaker wave is much harder than Nine Circles’ wave, but Nine Circles pre-drop is harder than Jawbreaker pre-drop. So I think it depends on what game mode people are more familiar/better with.
I beat Jawbreaker nearly 2 years ago now and was planning to beat Nine Circles after, but lost interest in the game before I could. Now I found the NC wave a lot more consistent and the ship and last cube a lot more annoying, but to me beating Jawbreaker back then, NC was so much harder
okay so i have something to say about this: (currently i have beaten jb and have nc in 2 runs) so to compare the waves, I kinda disagree with what you said since i think the spam is pretty easy and perfectly syncs to the music. The part where you have to click right after a gravity portal is not very hard, and has a large margin of error. However, at the end at like 85%, there's an insanely hard timing which adds to the challenge. All in all, I think jb is a very fun challenge and i enjoyed beating it. For nine circles, imo the wave is harder. Obviously the first part of the wave is pretty free, once you get to around 60-70%, the mini wave has many hard timings and is far harder than jawbreaker's timings. Also, the transition into the last dual mini wave is actual aids. Plus, the last cube is even harder due to stress. All in all, I think nc is much harder than jb.
I just beat both Jawbreaker and Nine Circles and I think they're the same for weird reasons. I think Jawbreaker itself is WAY easier than Nine Circles, as the predrop is pretty much free, unlike the predrop in Nine Circles being hard to players which aren't good at ship. Also, you said there are no timings in the Jawbreaker ball, but the yellow orb at 21% is a late click which I died to a few times, but still pales in comparison to Nine CIrcles' ball part. With that out of the way, Here comes the drop. The Jawbreaker wave is much easier than the Nine Circles aside from a few parts which make it back up to Nine Circles Difficulty. 51%, 52%, 57%, and the entire last 25% of the level are ridiculous enough to make it seem harder than Nine Circles unless you fluke those parts somehow. If it wasn't for those parts, I think Jawbreaker would be an Easy-Medium Demon. The "spam" parts in Jawbreaker all sync to the music as with the rest of the level, so I didn't have a hard time with the spams and most portal clicks (aside from the ones i mentioned), coming from someone that sucks at spam and timings. I also spent 304 attempts on Jawbreaker, which was 131 more than Nine Circles (with coins, but that doesn't do anything to the difficulty imo) and 14 more than Leyak. My answer to the question is pretty much "It depends if you fluke it"
I havent beaten jawbreaker yet, with 86% on it, but i have beaten Nine circles. Nine circles took me about 5500 attempts on the main level, and about 1200 on a copy with start positions. This far i think i only have about 2000 attempts on the main jawbreaker, and around the same on the copy. Jawbreaker might actually be harder but not because its luck based/inconsistent. The wave has some tight gaps and even though i think it will take me less attempts, i think its harder.
My Scores Nine Circles 17 and Jawbreaker 21. I think Jawbreaker is quite hard and so is nine circles but jawbreaker ends with a timing wave and mini wave, Jawbreaker is riddled with spamming in the wave part

Yes! That ending at nine circles is the most nerve-wracking thing when it is in your top 3! I understand you points... very well written!

@@vedantsridhar8378 I like to not suffer so I’m probably gonna do like 4-5 more hard demons before I jump to an insane demon
It took me an entire month to beat Nine Circles, but somehow it took me a day and a half to beat Jawbreaker. Both levels are really cool tho :)
Thank you for your thoughts!
Probably because they're kinda similar so you had less new gameplay to learn
@@user-nb6zu3rk4f which is basically improving
I’ve beaten both recently, and then stumbled across this video. I would have to agree with everything he says. Nine circles took me 3,000 attempts to beat, while jawbreaker took me about 800. However, I beat nine circles first, which majorly boosted my wave skill to prepare me for jawbreaker. I have played both in the past before, and nine circles was still harder. Thanks for covering this, as when I asked the community which is harder, they said Jawbreaker.
It took me 8k attempts to beat nine circles but only 1.6k attempts for jawbreaker idk if its because I got better or jawbreaker is just easier
damn this was so entertaining, but i would say that nine circles took me 3k attps to beat, while i have 70% on jawbreaker and i have 1.3k attps on jawbreaker, but i still think nine circles is harder since those timings in jawbreaker are free to me
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
I'm currently beating these 2 demons and I can agree with this comparison. Nice work mate!
nine circles is harder because of the pre-drop and the last cube, at least for me :)
the jawbreaker wave is harder but also way more fun
Nine Circles is way harder than Jawbreaker. As someone who is steadily making progress to Jawbreaker I can say, Jawbreaker is way easier than NC.
I personally find the Jawbreaker wave Easier than the Nine Circles wave and all other parts are around the same difficulty for me besides the ball in Nine Circles being way harder.
Great content, I really enjoyed watching it. Keep up the great work trg :)
Yay! Thank you, toast!
I completely understand where you are coming from because wave is my worst gamemode as well. That is a well thought out opinion :)
I remember raging my ass off practicing the ball in nine circle
yeah that ball is kinda tricky
Funnily enough, my personal opinion was that it was obviously Nine Circles that was the harder level, not just because of pre-drop and ending, but just because the wave in jawbreaker came so easily to me, and the wave in Nine Circles took a longer time for me to get.
Admittedly, beat NC before JB, so my skill level probably got increased in between the two levels, but yeah... Strange to see
A thing I feel like is easily overlooked though, is how flawed the score system really is... Just a little bit interesting to me I'd say
Great video though!
Just beat Jawbreaker today, new hardest!
Jawbreaker:
Pre-drop: Insane 8 star
Wave (32-65): Medium Demon
Wave (65-100): High-end Hard Demon
Haven’t tried Nine Circles yet.
That is a valid opinion. I agree with that, honestly.
Tried Nine Circles now
Nine Circles:
Cube: Harder 7 Star
Ship: Medium Demon
Ball: High-End Easy Demon
2nd Cube: Easy 2 star
Wave: Low-End Hard Demon
3rd Cube: Insane 8 star
Jawbreaker is more fun in my opinion, i hate beginning heavy levels, and the nine circles predrop builds unnecessary nerves that costed me many good runs.
nine circles took me 2 days and jawbreaker took me 2 years
nine circles is harder because both waves are free the ending in nine circles destroys your nerves but in jawbreaker you dont even know you are at the ending if you are focused
IMO, Jawbreaker is actually harder. In Jawbreaker, during the ship you actually have to click and somewhat straight fly while in Nine Circles you can just slide on the blocks. The cube also feels harder, since Nine Circles isn’t really memory and doesn’t have any hard clicks while in Jawbreaker there’s at least a little bit of memory and feels tighter.
skill issue
this movie is bad. the beginning of nine circles is actually more difficult but the wave on jawbreaker is almost an insane demon dfficulty, and it is from 20% to 100%, so jawbreaker is almost insane demon. But if you are very good at wave, jawbreaker can be easier for you
Jawbreaker's wave is not that hard tbh (I'm not great at the wave).
Okay, thank you for your thoughts!
@@therunawaygang76 Yeah, I forgot to include "for me". Sorry, I wasn't trying to generalise it.
And also, I didn't Bet the nine circles ball ship and the Last Cube Part, so that why my opinion: Jawbreaker: Bit memorizing and spamm, than it's done (75% Jawbreaker with no medium demons completed, current demons: 20)
why is this video so good lol
Thank you so much!
I beat both around a year or so ago and I found Jawbreaker harder do to the spam parts and awkward wave gameplay like you mentioned.
I 100% agree. Thank you for your comment!
I have firstly beaten Jawbreaker in 1.5k attempts, and secondly Nine Circles in 1.3k.
I really asked myself which was harder between these two.
I beat Jawbreaker now as my hardest also my first hard demon, Now practicing NC but i think Nine circles is a little harder
I have 6 hard demon slayen so i'm a new hard-demon-skilled player, and i can proof that nc is harder bc:
My Nine Circles att count:2679
My Jawbreaker att count:2078
Note:Also i'm playing on 60 hz mobile, and i grind nine circles as my 2nd hard demon whilst jawbreaker was my 6th
This has been sitting in my watch later for about 4 months
I found that the jawbreaker wave syncs with the song. Each beat and rhythm has a corresponding click.
That's a no brainer to me... I find NC to be relatively easy and Jawbreaker - almost impossible. Like, they're nowhere near close in difficulty.
I think they are close, but jawbreaker is harder by quite a bit in my opion. I couldn't believe that some people found nine circles harder at first.
Very well thought out detailed video to finally prove everyone else thay jawbreaker is easier!
lol I don't think it proves it... it is still opinion based
@@therunawaygang76 lol ur based so ur opinions are facts
He gave the wave a 4 but the ball a 5
nine circles took me 2 weeks, jawbreaker.
2 days lol
a bit of a late comment, but ive beaten jawbreaker and had runs on nine circles. when i was beating jawbreaker, got really unluck with the portals in the wave. it was basically a 33% chance i would miss a portal and i die. id say wave is my best gamemode and id also say nine circles is harder.
Thanks now I know that I should keep playing jawbreaker.
If Jawbreaker had a cube at the end that was similar in difficulty to the one in nine circles, they would be equal for me
As a time traveler from 2023 I see this as an absolute win
0:54 ok buddy
I think jawbreaker is harder but i can see the point of the people who say nine circles is harder
Jawbreaker may be shorter but it doesn't split into specific segments like nine circles does.
If someone says "the upside down wave part" or "the mini part" those are all recognisable, those dedicated segments make the level more consistent, jawbreaker on the other hand has those parts all over the place, making it harder to get consistent
but thats just my opinion lol.
cool lol. I think jawbreaker it's easier. The first time you beat it, it just feels extremely hard, but once you become kinda good at wave you realize it's actually really consistent. I get your point tho
Bro youtube listened to my thoughts I was just thinking what was harder
No, the Jawbreaker's wave is shorter than the Nine Circles, with 1s of difference. Jawbreaker as a whole is shorter than Nine Circles, but what makes up for its difficulty is the wave.
Both waves require a minimum of spam (Jawbreaker at the narrow gaps and NC with the mini waves)
(Tbh, I'm now practicing Jawbreaker's wave and I'm struggling less here than in NC's wave)
cool
Well, I think you’re right. I thought that Jawbreaker is harder because I caught unluck on it. But now I see that Nine Circles is harder and it’s irrefutable
Nine Circles is harder because of the non-wave parts
If we replace the beginning of NC with an easier beginning, I don't think it would even be a hard demon.
I did beat Jawbreaker last year in like 6k attempts which still my hardest to this day, but I'm planning to beat Arcane Ascent then do HyperSonic after that
I never beat NC because the beginning is just too insane for me to handle, although I did runs where I passed the entire wave part of NC which didn't give me much trouble.
If we compare only the wave parts Jawbreaker is miles harder than NC
That's my opinion :)
lol jawbreaker is my hardest as well, im planning to beat future funk 2 next.
That's weird, fairydust is clearly harder than both
You know, maybe you should also do the realistic vs figures
Nine Circles wasn't even comparable to Jawbreaker until the buffdates that Zobros gave to the level.
I just beat nine circles and i am now going after jawbreaker. This video made me a little bit more confident.
Thank you, i can now rest knowing that i'm not the only one who thinks nine circles is harder
Don't worry! That seems to be the popular opinion!
The jawbreaker wave is undeniably harder, but the intro and outro of nine circles are very difficult compared to jawbreaker. So i think that some people would find nine circles harder and vice versa.
Although everything you said makes sense, I do still think jawbreaker is harder (I have beaten both)
Reason 1:
I know the beginning of nine circles is hard, but it’s super consistent and when I was practicing the wave I basically died there 1/10 tries which is really not bad.
Reason 2:
You forgot to mention one thing in the wave part, which is that there are no indicators telling you where to go, even though there are indicators in nine circles.
Reason 3:
The jawbreaker wave is super inconsistent, buggy, has awful choke points, and dumb hit boxes.
Reason 4:
NC: 1200+ atts (I beat first)
JB: 1450+ atts
Thank you for reading ❤
Your voice is asmr worthy
Thanks bro!
in my opinion jawbreaker is easier, nine circles mini wave parts are insane
4:27 Actually both wave are as longer. They both last for 30 seconds. However, I agree on the fact that Jawbreaker's wave is harder than NC's wave.
Honestly I agree that nc is harder simply because of the predrop
Also imo the gravity portals in jawbreaker’s wave are free if you practice them
Really? I disagree, but it is an interesting viewpoint!
the gravity portals feel absolutely impossible for new players but they're free for more advanced players
@@blyatdahellyo yeah, when I first started playing them they felt pretty hard, but they got super consistent

I respect that. That is very logical thinking. Thank you for sharing your story/opinion!
Nine circles is harder fs simply due to the intro ship and ball
jawbreaker is def harder imo. i have more atts on 9 circles only because i used to mess around on it in practice back when i was younger and not that good. both levels only took me 2 days of straight practicing to complete. the 9 clrcles pre drop became super easy to me and so did the jawbreaker one. but the wave in jawbreaker has so many more crucial timings... i got 3 deaths at 86%, one death at 93%, and one death at 98%.
The first part of the jawbreaker wave is easy, but 68-94 is really difficult
Your point is valid but I think both levels are difficult in their own ways. Some people who struggle at timings in wave (clicking slightly earlier or later into a gravity portal) will find jawbreaker more challenging and some people who always miscalculate their spam at tight corridors especially where they cannot see will find jawbreaker very challenging. People who struggle at ship and ball timings will find nine circles harder or people who get nervous easily because of stress test at the end of nine circles. Overall, both levels are very difficult.
Jawbreaker is unbelievably harder to me.
I played Nine Circles as one of my first hard demons, and even after me getting 75% on acu, i still can’t beat jawbreaker lmfao.
bruh... i think you can do it. it might just take longer. dont give up!
I got triggered when you said there was no timings in the jawbreaker ball lol
oh hello hatred redux guy, i am hatred mobile guy. how do you do?
I beat Jawbreaker nearly 2 years ago now and was planning to beat Nine Circles after, but lost interest in the game before I could. Now I found the NC wave a lot more consistent and the ship and last cube a lot more annoying, but to me beating Jawbreaker back then, NC was so much harder
okay so i have something to say about this: (currently i have beaten jb and have nc in 2 runs)
so to compare the waves, I kinda disagree with what you said since i think the spam is pretty easy and perfectly syncs to the music.
My answer to the question is pretty much "It depends if you fluke it"
lol isn't that the answer to every level? thanks for sharing your opinion... it was very interesting to read!
My Scores
Nine Circles 17 and Jawbreaker 21. I think Jawbreaker is quite hard and so is nine circles but jawbreaker ends with a timing wave and mini wave, Jawbreaker is riddled with spamming in the wave part
Yeah, I think jawbreaker is harder because of the spam, too.
