It honestly hurts knowing that Lumina is so unheard of. Lumina’s level of atmosphere, effects, and energy is just beyond words for a level that’s inspired by Congregation. Congregation mainly being eerie and grim, with Lumina being magical and heavenly. It’s honestly hard to explain why I love the level so much, when it’s inspired by a level that I never really got behind.
the only thing, from a player viewpoint, i dislike about Lumina, is that the first quarter is miles harder than the rest. Other than that, Lumina is pure perfection, ive been hooked since the 1st showcase

I personally find them to have a connection as falling up finishing in the sky, you continue your adventures in the sky in the far sky. Funny how they both also use a hinkik songs

Acheron was very clearly made to be a sequel to Tartarus, even with the creators saying otherwise. Then they made Aeturnus and started fully embracing the concept of the "trilogy" that all 3 levels are a part of. Same with vice versa as we saw with Avernus/Waterfall. Also I don’t think ive ever seen people calling lumina, fever dream, or sunset sandstorm sequels of cong, dv, and bb respectively.
acheron - i see the vision i could just not give a fuck about anything to do with acheron lumina - i completely disagree with this one actually congregation's gimmick and premise is it's empty atmosphere and while i don't think congregation does it well, lumina is not the perfect wet dream sequel to it because all it does is take inspiration from it but be an average effect/design level + it's got a drastically different atmosphere fever dream - i completely agree with this one ! fever dream has the same charm devil vortex has and a very similar design + the way the gp is structured is incredibly similar ! it would work and i wouldn't complain sunset sandstorm - eh i see the vision but yeh these wouldn't realistically work i feel like the drops of the levels are too different with ss being flowy in a way and blbl being one gamemode for one complete part for most of the drop but, i don't totally disagree
