Clearing ABANDONED Storage Land From Blackberry Bramble! Stihl FS-240 Brush Cutter

- Today we had the opportunity to cut down some blackberries that were slowly starting to take over this property. Due to negligence and lack of consistent maintenance several lots were being overgrown with blackberries as well as other brushes. The brush was slowly expanding to other parts and had been covering parked trailers, cars, etc.
We grabbed the Stihl FS 240 brushcutter and got to work mulching up all of this bramble and clearing this lot relieving the property of its unwanted guest. Hopefully, the owners will realize action needs to be taken on the entire property against the blackberries.

Those blackberries were so cool. It's like that science experiement from grade school when we grew peas in the closet! The plants were very pale and never bore "fruit." Regardless, that was a challenging assignment and you made it look easy! Great job!

in the part of CA that i grew up in, moving that bed liner is a 2 person job. one with a pole to flip the liner over, another with tongs/hockey stick/pool net to act as a snake spotter and make sure the rattlesnakes move away from the person flipping.
grass that long with black plastic sheet, or tin sheets absolutely had at least 2 rattlesnakes.
I'm very thankful that we don't have rattlesnakes up here in our area of the state.

Blackberries are generally followed with surprises in the areas they’re growing in. It’s always better to go a little slower then to hit a some trash or rocks that are hiding. Thanks Kiri!

I understand it’s necessary but I really hate seeing blackberries cut down. Some of my best memories are of picking wild blackberries and huckleberries.
There are so many blackberries in our area that you could go pick berries a different spot everyday and will never have to visit the same place twice.

Don't blackberries taste good and are healthy? Why do you hate them so much? I would be happy to have a bunch on my back yard.
They do taste good and they are healthy just like all other berries. I don't like them because they grow over everything and kill off local vegetation.
