It gets better. This is before trust and max level. At absolute max, she has 4655 HP. That calculates out to 18,620 'max health', and on top of that, her S2M3 grants an obscene 60% Shelter effect (Damage Reduction for non-True damage). That effectively means 46550 HP (yes, it just gives her ten times the effective health of her raw statblock, lmao) for 20 seconds. She is mathematically unkillable in her S2 state, not without an insane amount of true damage or force-retreat. Oh, and she restores 100% of her health in shield on each kill at S2M3. (Edit: Apparently it's only 20%, but still, 15 kills to max is plenty of sustain, often easier than Mudrock healing on high pressure.) It gets EVEN BETTER, though. At E2 max no potentials, she has 458 Arts damage as thornmail, per enemy attack. On top of S2M3 doing 1282 Arts damage to every tile around her per second. So, she's three Lava the Purgatory S2s in addition to being functionally immortal, all for a frankly ridiculous uptime with 20 starting SP/30 SP charge/20s duration. Remember when Mudrock literally broke game mechanics with a regenerating shield? Yeah, this is HG going 'hold my beer' and just doing the Risk of Rain 2 barrier god mode build. She still won't 'powercreep' Mudrock because an unconditional shield that can survive three hits of infinity damage, no fodder requirement to charge, AFK lane holding and stuns, and being able to cheese through special targeted effects with Mudrock's S3 are still broken beyond belief. It's just that both 6* Juggernauts are equally broken. Now, HG, where is our Vulcan buff/god module/alter? Please. I'm begging you.

Imo, masteries wont help much since phase 2 got killed faster because penance also reflected the small ticks and during lane holding, nothing really butt clenching happened.

Man, I feel bad for big daddy. Canonically the strongest person on the planet despite over 60% of his body being uranium crystals and is basically a walking hospice patient yet gets bullied every update.

If you are wondering like me, her voice, I feel like I used to hear it a lot but it was year or two ago. I googled it and finally it all made sense, her VA also voiced Ningguang from genshin impact. I did a lot of rerolls at that time and had a lot of account, so her voice was quite familiar.
A flaw I see is that Mudrock edges out when defending lanes the 'traditional' way (melee with ranged units covering fire), as Penance recieves no benefit from other units killing mobs she's blocking. Along with no self heal, having others helping in her lane is detrimental to her power.
I don't think I've ever seen someone say something like "covering fire for Mudrock", it's always her dominating a corner. Penance will further dominate another corner. 2 more to go.

I was wondering how the fuck she can solo this when she doesn't have self-sustain. Didn't know that gamepress used the wrong terminology; I thought she got something similar to Mudrock's or Nian's talents, when it's actually more like Gravel's S2. She's much stronger than I thought-- you won't need to heal when you don't lose any health in the first place.
HP-based like Gravel, Shining s2, Tuye s1 but it won't run out because it's not a skill. Tho I'm wondering if they updated those operators skill description

I'd argue Vulcan is good enough as she is. Helidrop juggernaut that becomes nearly unkillable while skill is actice.
