It's always good to hear someone who has a wide spread audience trying to teach people to take care of our camp sites so we can continue using them and be good stewards to the environment :) Keep it up!

Had to watch it again. Spent 14 nights down on 'the river last summer. One of my favorite places in the WORLD! And that's coming from someone who has traveled extensively in 27 countries. Love it! Can't wait for the dry season to get down there how we like to do it.

Ah yes, know that spot very well, been going there for 15 years. Was out that way 3 wks ago to recon how the river and access road was after our torrentialrains this winter. Took my Sons there for years. Now my Lady and I take several trips out every summer. Love it. Great video Brother.

Well said! Thanks for using your platform to remind people of the potential consequences of not respecting the land. Unfortunately too many of the people dumping are the same ones complaining about gates being locked 🤔

Also, as someone who knows wayy more about trees than trucks: you guys did a good job. Nothing wrong with planting in winter. It should be a happy tree.

Loved the tree idea! Thanks for trying to always spread the word to respect and take care of the island and all these great locations. True islanders in my eyes 👌🏼

People can be such morons. The ones who leave their shit behind are usually the ones to complain the most when places like that get shut down. On a positive note. What a beautiful place you live in.

We always pick up trash when we are out, the kids like doing it and it's a shame they need to in the first place. Hopefully places like these can remain open for all to enjoy.

Beautiful spot to camp and enjoy the wilderness. Good video bro. Everyone should clean up after themselves it only takes a second to pack up your mess.

I love that you guys plant a tree! I kind of want to join in and start.
It’s the unfortunate but hard truth about others waste littered everywhere outdoors. Over the last year and a half it’s been increasing rapidly on the island which is sad to see.
Appreciate your efforts, looked like a blast!

we got the same problem in the alberni area (maybe even worse as were on the road to tofino) with people making huge messes at our favorite campsites.... its gotten to the point where we never tell anyone about these kind of spots because it ends up on some youtubers channel ,facebook or instagram with exact instructions on how to get there and shortly afterward it ends up crowded ,garbage everywhere and the inevitable gate goes up.

If you love it let it go…. That’s what I have to tell myself anyway, had to close so much around me because the limits were set to let the earth regrow, now it’s just a timer for them to move along (the next group move in) and fudge up the next big thing without appreciating crap😐
