There are a very few vocalists that can cross genres. Aaron is one of them. Let's just appreciate his brilliance and consider ourselves lucky to have seen it. Saw him last year as a country artist. Going in August to watch Stained and Godsmack.
Such a great band. So many core memories with this band. They been through it all with me. Me and my older brother jammin to them on their 1st album. Him passing away later in life. My 1st gf cheating on me and continuously listening to 14 shades of grey when it came out. (Happily married now 12yrs). Glad I saw them when they toured with Korn. Even that’s another story. 38yrs old.
Agreed, and sadly all of them (stage hand crew included) wouldn’t even throw us a setlist (a piece of trash to them) after the show despite our asking every single one of them as they exited. Really soured us on them and furthered our appreciation for those (like them) doing this thing for 20+ years and happy to be there, make memories, and connect of which (to your point) they were there for the paycheck and nothing else.
I grew up on the first three staind records so my relationship with them is weird. I really enjoy those three but it seems like the more Aaron has to do with the band the more it sucks. Idk just my two cents. I always felt like it’s possible Mike could’ve been in a band as respected as deftones, he’s a severely under-appreciated guitar player. Also hi from Edmond, OK. Missed this show bc I didn’t know it was happening lmao
what are you talking about. his vocals speak for themselves, his personality is just laid back, and hes so talented that he doesnt look like hes trying. unless youve seen him live you really cant comment. ive seen him, hes one of the best there is period
I saw him 19 year ago and thought he was the most dull and boring performer I’ve seen. I’ve seen him twice since, solo acoustic, very simple and not exciting, but the voice and music was incredible. One of the best singer/songwriters I’ve ever experienced. Just not a showman.
Staind got me through some hard times in my life but man is it disappointing to see him wearing that stupid bush / Reagan hat and espousing conservative conspiracy theories on stage at other concerts. I’m greatful Staind released their first three albums, at least the music exists, but I saw the ideology seeping into that music in the single on third album. “No one gives a shit that your daughters are porno stars…” ugh please, from a man whose song “mud shovel” is slang for anal sex-that he thought was hilarious.
Chill out, man. It's disapointing to see anyone so swept up in either side of American politics, including you, especially when those of us from other countries realize both sides are a faker theatre show than WWE wrestling. Regardless, you've totally twisted the meaning of Open Your Eyes because you're blinded by your own political leanings. Perhaps you ought to take heed of two lines below that where it says: You're so lost in your little worlds // your little worlds you'll never fix.
Aaron Lewis sounds so good still at 50 years old! Growls screams and everything !
Whoever recorded this needs a raise! God Bless America baby
Appreciate that feedback, thank you!

My voice would be toast if I screamed like he did in the first song. What a professional.
Always been Staind fan Always will be

Thank you for uploading this. 🤟🏻🤟🏻 AFL
Most welcome, thank you for the feedback!
So excited for September haven’t seen staind since 99 and Aaron since 04 but they’re still killing it
LOVE how they played Paper Jesus. Such a phenomenal heavy song
Staind we need Yours new album in ROCK!!!! Come On !!!!
Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome!
Amazing! Thanks!
The only other guy I've heard that can effortlessly scream like that is Layne Staley.
BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!!
thanks for this
You're most welcome, thank you for the feedback!
I wish Aaron still shaved his top of his head like back in the day lol like it's been awhile
I was there it was awesome
Staind lyrics are cool ❤️😍 music.
Fuck YES!!!
I love Staind to death, but I wish Aaron Lewis would just perform like he wants to be there. Mike Mushok still plays like he's 25.

Not everyone rocks the same. He didn't move that much back in the day. Granted more then this but he wasn't a super crazy front man.

I hope this isn't the setlist for the 2023 shows.

Quite possibly the most boring front man
He’s never been super energizing he’s too busy trying to sing his ass off which he definitely does
And that's fine. Not everyone needs to be David Lee Roth
@@joshhoy6257 exactly
Staley just stood there too.
@@JR10_RR exactly I’d rather hear a legit talent then see a David Lee Roth doing the splits Dio just stood there too
🤮
Why you even here then ?
Is a shit stain
