Gaia at Truro Cathedral

Luke Jerram’s Gaia, was at Truro Cathedral from 6-28 October 2023. The cathedral welcomed thousands of visitors to see this spectacular touring artwork.
Measuring seven metres in diameter, Gaia features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface* and is suspended above the cathedral Crossing, providing the opportunity to see the planet on this scale, floating in three dimensions. A specially made surround-sound composition by BAFTA award winning Composer Dan Jones is being played alongside the sculpture.
