An intensive service of both regular passenger trains and local services, as well as demonstration goods trains. Filmed at various locations along the route of the Severn Valley Railway, including Kidderminster, Bewdley, Arley, Highley, Hampton Loade and Bridgnorth.

Absolutely! You’ll have a great time regardless. My favourite ever gala was about 15 years ago, Spring Gala - it snowed heavily overnight. ‘Big railway’ ground to a halt, roads were awful but the steam trains carried on regardless. Not many visitors, mainly just a few of us locals - like having a railway to myself! Loved passing time in the waiting rooms in front of the fire - atmospheric beyond belief! Sadly I hadn’t got into videoing stuff back then! Enjoy your day! 😃👍
