I remember watching Bruce Lee movie for the first time in Houston, Tx with my brothers and friends. After the movie we went straight to the Asian store in downtown and bought some Kung fu shoes. Once we got home...me and brother went at it. We wanted to be like Bruce Lee. 🤣🤣🤣

The guy accomplished more then most people will in their entire life.. by just 32! He had so much life ahead of him. You take 32 multiply it by 3 that's 96.. and he probably would've lived that long! that's two more life's he could have lived.. if you think of it that way? and how much more he would've accomplished is hard to comprehend, death only made him an instant legend that he was. . To the younger people that are struggling and suffering out there.. don't give up! change what your doing wrong and apply it! you have the time! Really interesting to listen to how BL impacted so many people in and out of martial arts. The only negative about this documentary is the number of video and sound clips they used of BL imitators (primarily from the 1978 ridiculous version of Game of Death). Also, he was never a drama major in school, he majored in philosophy. Other than that, this is a great watch in 2023, almost 50 years after his death.
Bruce Lee was an extraordinary human being. Emphasize HUMAN being. He overexcerted himself. His work ethic was admirable, but he simply didn't allow himself to get enough rest. Just check the numbers. His contributions in his movies included : Writing the script, (co)directing on the movie-set, inovating new camera techniques, editing footage, inventing sound effects, innovations in choreographing fighting scenes. Of course he actively PARTICIPATED in fighting scenes and performed all his stunts. Also don't forget he gave interviews, traveled internationally, attended business meetings, gave demonstrations, and he also started martial arts school(s?). I almost feel tired after just typing about his workload, and I'm sure that I haven't described its totality. If you insist on not get enough rest ,then your immune system will suffer. Hence his allergic reaction to a relatively benign medication.

And Bruce was absolute water too there's no question, he had it down too the T. I just realized how good he was, and even slipped for a split second in his acting with Kareem. Just before Kareem gives him that huge backhand that puts Bruce on the floor, Bruce puts his hands up to block for a split second, then puts them down fast to sell the shot of him getting punched.

Really interesting to listen to how BL impacted so many people in and out of martial arts. The only negative about this documentary is the number of video and sound clips they used of BL imitators (primarily from the 1978 ridiculous version of Game of Death). Also, he was never a drama major in school, he majored in philosophy. Other than that, this is a great watch in 2023, almost 50 years after his death.
When bruce did those high-kicks on Kareem he actually pulled his grions.
Bruce Lee was an extraordinary human being. Emphasize HUMAN being. He overexcerted himself. His work ethic was admirable, but he simply didn't allow himself to get enough rest.
Just check the numbers. His contributions in his movies included : Writing the script, (co)directing on the movie-set, inovating new camera techniques, editing footage, inventing sound effects, innovations in choreographing fighting scenes. Of course he actively PARTICIPATED in fighting scenes and performed all his stunts.
Also don't forget he gave interviews, traveled internationally, attended business meetings, gave demonstrations, and he also started martial arts school(s?).
I almost feel tired after just typing about his workload, and I'm sure that I haven't described its totality.
