  • In a recent interview, I heard Auron push back on the idea that internet community just isn't properly real. I though he might like the opportunity to expand on that observation with a conversation.

How can you say something so controversial yet so Brave and Truthful.

This is why as much as I don't want to, I might have to temporarily align with certain types of religion. I can't actually pull off belief, I never could. Trying to actually believe in God is like telling my mind to choose to believe 2+2=3 and expect it to work. Let's just say it's never going to be the Southern Baptist Convention. Pascal can take his Wager and cram it.
Religion may do certain good. Something needs to switch it on.
2020 is when I heard of the Moldbug Cathedral. I loved it.
The take about what happens 3 generations later is important. Someone gets the short upside by throwing out the old limitations of the past. Then someone years later gets the downside.
Traditions may exist because they are said to be solutions to forgotten problems. However, I also take interest in the "There are no solutions, only tradeoffs" argument. I always wondered how many traditions are compromises and that people did not tolerate anymore. What I argue is that some situations worked for the masses. However, the statistical outliers always existed. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. However, what happens when the few are treated as zero for too long?

Solve the tank problem via the adeptus mechanicus stratagem. They have indispensable competence concentrated in their sect. Therefore, the Imperium is forced to overlook their heresy.
We must ask: how can our communities become the go-to for certain essential competencies? Perhaps we can run apprenticeship networks. We also need to look into courting unions in indispensable industries.

That is good idea, RE apprenticeships.

A system of apprenticeships and trade unions are a must. Otherwise people will never get a set of job skills in a timely manner. Also, we all know that the college or McJob is a lie. However, unless we can make viable alternatives, people may still risk many years and thousands of dollars on it.
