Oh Chad a great video tinged with sadness on the loss of an alpaca. You are doing your best you couldn't see that tree falling, but doing the next best thing now you've all come to terms with it. Unfortunately accidents happen daily which no one can predict. Your land is looking better by the day. Happy Mother's day to your household and the Doss family.. I'm so sorry the storm damage took little Roxie out. This 100% explains the attitude I've sensed as you remove the dangerous trees and thin the forest to strengthen the others! It was NOT your fault or anyone else's, sometimes things you just can't foresee happen. You are very right in thinking just maybe something more was going on you couldn't know and this was God's way of making it quick, after giving you time to enjoy her before it got bad on her. I hope Adler is handling the loss well, you are doing a great job helping to remind him of how blessed and fun life is in spite of it!

The way of little boys. One day, they want you to pick them up and carry them, and the next day they don't want you to pick them up and carry them because they're too big for that stuff, and yesterday when you picked them up and carried them, you had no idea that it was the last time. Kinda sad how so many things in life are for the last time. If we had known at the time, that it was the last time, we would have paid more attention. As I've gotten older in life, I've come to realize how many things are like that. I'm learning to cherish moments so much more. Sometimes they happen again, sometimes, never again.

Ya know Chad, ya make me want to yell at you. You do not owe any one an explanation and certainly not an apology. From MY experience, I have found the entire Doss bunch to be the best of the best!! I trust their thoughts and decisions completely. I flat KNOW you ALL would do what is BEST in what ever situation comes up. And I have agreed with just about everything any of you have done. I do feel you should be teaching Adler to throw rocks overhand for more distance and accuracy but, that will come. But otherwise, we are in pretty much complete agreement.. And I must reiterate that I am behind you and Rae 200 percent in your child rearing methods. I want you to know that the Doss family has MY support completely.. Not that I am the expert in any thing. I’m so sorry you lost Roxy but she’s back with her mama. Im late to the video because I found my little black cat Luna had died. She has been my shadow and cuddle buddy for 14 years and I’m devastated. I’ve no idea what happened, she was fine earlier in the day. Things happen in the blink of an eye. I’m just glad my 5 year old granddaughter wasn’t here as she was supposed to be as she loved my little buddy. She would have been in pieces if she had found her. Take care all of you. ❤

Coyote jumped my aunts fence and killed multiple dogs before my aunt can react. She chase the coyote down and killed it. So keep in mind that coyote can get bold enough to go after your dogs.
