Thank you for the review, im looking forward to buying one. One thing id like to point out overall not regarding this model: The Wind Noise is just too much. Also i would've liked more detail about the drivetrain and about Service intervals and estimated costs at the dealership, i know this is very specific but it may be as important as the mpg to know how much it will cost you in just maintaining this machine. Also a panoramic shot and actual driving experience would be interesting to add. Also the Lensflare was really bugging me.
As a M-B owner since 1978, I can advise you that there is no 'planned' maintenance - the car figures out when it needs a service, and what level of service that needs to be. You also get 30 days warning to arrange it. Costs depend on where you live - what country, of course. We have a SLK250 that averages 52mpg - best ever was 70.2. We also have a E220 station wagon AMG Premium Plus version - averages around 48 mpg, but can get up to 55 on a long highway run.
