Gold Mining On A Budget? 3 Pieces Of Equipment You Need!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 20 апр 2020
- This video shows the three most important pieces of gold milling equipment for processing ore and recovering gold. These include a jaw crusher for crushing rocks, a hammer mill to pulverize the rocks and liberate the gold, and a shaker table to recover the free fine gold. Once the gold is recovered on the shaker table, Jason walks through the process of smelting the gold concentrates to recover all the gold in the cons and turn it into a precious metal bead that can be easily sold to a gold refiner.

So without the money to buy all of the proper equipment, and without the knowledge of precious metals, and just now subscribing, I have watched many of the videos here with Jason. I now melt everything down to a slag. then knock off the bead and run my stuff through my chemical purification process (aqua regia) (mostly because while dangerous, the reactions are super neat) to purify and separate my precious metals. I`ve now done circuit boards, chips, scrap jewelry, and some spec gold from a couple of local creeks and rivers among many other sources. I have to say these videos should be a holy grail to ppl in the position I was, before precious metals . Hats off to MBMM and Jason especially. Your learning with us has been incredible! I saved my home due to these videos! Hopefully someday,
I will be able to repay that knowledge! Thank You Jason and MBMM, I do however need to invest in that darn Frankenoven or try to figure out how to make one as cheaply as possible as I`ve found platinum group metals in my slimes and solutions at times. I have a pretty firm grip on gold and silver but platinum group metals is a whole different beast all together. sorry about some spelling . I`m at work. lol man only if gold ore was found in Michigan!
I am interested in this small scale equipment So cool to watch . Never saw a crushing machine like that Awesome
I just do some panning, but I was super fascinated by this process! Thank you for making the video, lol I wish I had a need for this type of equipment!
I like your channel because you show and explain the process of gold extraction from rock and final recovery from smelting.
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggested friend lists so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere??
I like your push to Very Smaller Scale Miners/Prospectors.
I DIY’ed a Prospecting Trailer the last year or so (RUclips: Prospector Tripp) and have the below equipment on a small 4x8 trailer!
4x6 jaw crusher Chinese
14” chain mill DIY
Bucket Concentrator DIY
Shaker table DIY (modifications in progress)
I believe that it’s a very good idea to be able to process ore onsite and determine values quickly and inexpensively!
I believe that there are thousands of small miners looking for a less expensive and more effective prospecting/mining process.. you my friend are on the cutting edge of this.. thanks for providing the equipment, tools, processes and ideas to everyone!
MBMM and you Jason are a great asset to the mining community!
Looking forward to seeing your own mining site running!
✌️PT
Thank you so much for your comment! It means a lot to us!
Awesome video. You are the best info source on getting the best possible product out of any material. It's really interesting and can't wait to see your mining in the future.
Thank you so much for your comment!
Another great video! It’s really cool to see the whole process from beginning to end. Looking forward to seeing the small portable mill w/sluice. That’s going to be a game changer kind of equipment. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you so much for your comment! Turn our post notifications on if you would like to be notified as soon as we post that video!
Most impressive.. Reminds me of when I was a kid.. You'd be that friend that had all the cool stuff to play with, so that's where everyone went.. (I haven't grown up much, Still diggin' holes in the dirt.. Although now my excuse is I'm looking for gold, instead of worms/bugs/whatnot)
Old saying my dad used to say>>[The only difference between men and boys is tbe price of their toys!
I love the idea of the smaller system
Build it on a trailer that has a generator (or a place for) make the trailer complete system with furnace etc... just an idea and I’d love a small system like that
Great video! Looking forward to seeing your new portable system for site processing.
Thank you so much! You can turn our post notifications on if you'd like to be notified as soon as we post a new video!
That jaw crusher looks brand new. Nice piece of equipment!
The convection currents visuals are awesome!
Jason man thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and the motivation to keep my drive alive. M.B.M.M. is awesome before i found your channel i was thinking mmb mining my business and the logo is pretty darn similiar. I would like to get some feedback if you could ill send you some pics of the stuff im working with
I love the idea of a mill and slush on my truck!!! I need this.
I think a little round mould with the number "8" cast into it is also completely essential.
Couple quick questions. Does the hammer mill have a gas motor option? Where did you get your flux recipe? Is there a book you would recommend? Thanks, great video!
Like your videos.
Wish you would fabricate a smaller shaker table.
Perhaps half the size on this video.
Keep the videos coming.
This is definitely a great tease. You've done a great job with a lot of your videos to show how to process ore all the way to the cupellation stage. In some of your future videos can you talk about how to transport the equipment and also the necessary groundwork for installation (i.e. cement slab or jersey barrier)?
That's a great idea for a video! We'll definitely add it to the list of suggestions we have from our subscribers. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Now I know there are more ways.

sweet looking forward to the new thing you are working on
Thank you! Hopefully we'll have a video about it soon!
Here the best video title award goes.
I'm not a miner at all but do you make anything that could work on an offshore saltwater dredge?
Great setup
When will you have some videos of that new smaller setup you talked about?
That jaw crusher is quite impressive. Would be interesting to see how well a much smaller jaw crusher would do.
Stay tuned and we might be able to show you!
I would be interested in your smaller system you talked about at the end of the video. I think a lot of people would be interested in that version. Rocks in at the top, gold out the bottom, ha

What is the cost of replacing the screens in your hammer mill and how long do they last? How much steel is wearing off and showing up on the shaker table? For material that is passing out of your hammer mill is all of the material coming out able to be processed on the shaker table?
When will you be showing the more compact one , which you can put in the back of your truck?
Cool video 🤘😎
I have been watching your channel and I love your operations
WHAT ABOUT magnetic (Faris /non Faris) on the table
Quisiera saber el presupuesto para un equipo completo.
Me gustó y quisiera saber las expecificaciones en español, gracias y bendiciones.
Thanks!
I’d like to know the cost of the fuel lead and everything you use to make the chemical reactions in order to get 1 g of gold
I’d love to see a video on that smaller setup you mentioned
It's definitely a possibility in the future!
@@mbmmllc I surely would like to see that as well even if the whole thing was set up on a small trailer
@@mbmmllc SIR, I'M REALLY INTERESTED THAT SMALL EQUIPMENT FOR MINING
I HAVE A LOT MINING BUT I D'DNT AFFORD LIKE THAT EQUIPMENT .
THAT WHY ONLY SMALL SCALE WE CAN MAKE IT TO GET GOLD
hi, do you think you could do the same with e waste.
"On a budget" needs to be for this kind of equipment for us small time miners $200min -$1000max
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggested friend lists so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere?
I suppose it's a question of scale. You'd probably start out with the smaller and cheaper setup. Then you'd have to be getting enough gold out of your site to justify the investment in this equipment and the fuel and chemicals to run them.
@@jaye1967 well thats true I don't do it for the money tho I do it to get out into nature and enjoy being by the river but yes you are correct
@@prospectord8437 And after watching one of his other videos of an operation in South America you see that they're using a large generator. That would defiantly spoil the enjoyment of nature. 😀I did find it interesting that they were getting 1 oz per ton down there.
can a normal map gas torch melt gold? I am trying to find gold just for fun and as cheap as possible
After this do you roast sulfides then reprocess or leech??
Jason it seems to me a 400 dollar gold cube would be a lot cheaper than the shaker table. Small scale to you is still over 10 k bucks. Not small enough! You are the guy that could make an actual system for 3500. I'm talking about a crusher-pulverizer duo. Why don't you guys sell those pyramid cone molds you use in your videos??? The ones you offer are too small. All that said love the videos and scientific approach!
Neat art/ science.
As much as I enjoy watching the work you do. It breaks my heart seeing the condition of the French skillet you used to "dry your concentrates".
Hows that smaller gasoline set up coming along? Is it available yet?
Nice!
Im interested in those three equipments so how can i get it
Hie jason where do you get your equipment
How much water do your 1ton, 2ton, 3ton, 4ton, 5ton plants need
Figuring out the flux recipe that seems tough
Amazing process - In my opinion you should trade that gram of gold in for 2 ounces of silver bullion.
Ok how old does a gold pan have to be to get retired from mbmm? Cause that one at 6:26 woo boy, never seen the green worn off one before! Poor lil guy. :-)
LOL! Probably been sitting out in the sun too long and got bleached.
That's interesting why was lye or naoh And silica gel added to the gold while smelting
Sorry for writing you, just out of curiosity your page come up on my suggested friend lists so I was just wondering if I knew you from somewhere??
It would be a tragedy if that jaw crusher vibrated off the edge of the block! Very nice machines.
so is there a clear winner for gold recovery in country and method?
i.e i should imagine some countries in Africa and Latin America offer great numbers.....but risky.
Then there is say ice gold diving gold V land, etc...
How much does it cost? this machine
I need this exact set up. You open to finance with royalty?
How long would it take to ship to Zambia

How hammers are there inside this hammers mill
Hi I am interested in this setup what would be the cost of this?
A bucket, a shovel, and a pan.
Thank you for your comment!
That’s my budget for sure
Wish I had the budget for a shovel... A sharp stick and my hands is all I can afford...
Better get a hammer too, to break up rocks.

Add the gold drop at the end.
berapa harga untuk 3 mesin ini?
Budget op[erations only meed a pan, and a place to stash their "tailings" for reprocessing when they get bigger.
how much does the machine cost ?...
Well there is two kinds of mining and the only one you can do on a budget is hobby mining. If your spending more than $5 grand on a hobby well that isn't budget mining. Your getting into commercial and you better be planning on spending at minimum a few $100 grand. Now I do the budget hobby style and spent less than a $1 grand to do it. That's how to do it on budget.
Details on your 1k approach?
@@wellroundedwildones3376 I started with a GPAA membership that cost me at the time $69. Then I bought a Keene mini sluice for $ 40 off of E-Bay. From there I purchased some miners moss and some deep V rib matting also picked up some cpvc pipe all of which cost very little. I took some old galvanized sheet metal and fabricated a box for my sluice with spray bars and a piece of expanded metal to classify the rocks. I then took the pvc pipe and built a stand thus turning my mini sluice into a high banker that. I can easily run a yard an hour through. I picked up a water pump at tractor supply for $200 to power my high banker shovel I already had. The membership gave me access to proven gold areas and thus for under $1,000 I had everything a hobby miner needs to get out and enjoy getting some gold.
Hi, I took real issue with those I called whiners and complainers about what was called budget mining.
I will differ with ken jett just a little bit. You’re really not getting into commercial Mining yet just because you spent more than five grand.
It will cost you more than five grand in many instances to buy a dry suit/wetsuit and A 4 inch dredge and you’re still in what is legally called up here in Alaska “recreational mining“ as long as you stay under 6 inches on your dredge your recreational.
So you’re gonna spend more than five grand and you’re still not approaching commercial Mining.
You laid out a really good way to approach just getting into Hobby Mining and I applaud you for that.
It’s the same way with hunting or fishing; you can have a very inexpensive rifle and go trudge out into the woods and go hunting or you can buy a combination fishing pole at Walmart and go fishing; OR you can buy and ATV for more than five grand and you’re still not a commercial hunter; certainly you can spend a lot more than five grand on a boat and you’re still not a commercial fisherman.
So I think that there’s an intermediate step in between what ken jett is calling hobby Mining, And commercial Mining. Up here we call it recreational Mining. And it doesn’t have to but it can cost a lot more than $5000.
But if you did want to do something more than recreational but didn’t have $1 million then $100,000 for the start of mining in a way that could actually pay some bills, well, $100,000 IS budget Mining.
By the way, the short answer or reply to this thread is in the name of the group. GPAA. You know what that stands for; Gold PROSPECTOR’s Asociation of America. Those that made up a name the group understood the difference between prospecting and mining. That’s why they called it prospecting. 😉

@@scotthack2632 well I wasn't trying to be arbitrary with the numbers they are a lot of subjection that can be made. I was just making a distinction between the difference in hobby and what's commercial. Most people don't know or understand the difference. It's also true about the use of the Name Gold Prospectors of America. There is a distinct difference between prospecting and mining. Most if not all who join the club are in honesty miners not prospectors. The actual meaning of a prospector is one who goes around sampling looking for a source of gold. They are prospecting not mining, the difference is once a source is found and your set up to recover the gold now you are mining. This then is where as to what level of mining you choose? Hobby or recreational I consider the same. Or are you going to go commercial a lot depends on just how much gold available to recover. How much you can afford to spend on equipment and a big decider can you get the permits to operate a commercial mine. In some areas depending on the level of your hobby can also require permits to operate. That's why I keep my hobby small as it allows me to go out on occasion have fun and recover a little gold without having to apply for permits. Although you do still have to have permission to access private property. This is why I like belonging to Gold Clubs where members get access to proven gold areas.
How about using a hydraulic ram pump instead of a gas powered or electric powered
