An officer was conducting a routine patrol on Pensacola Bay Bridge. The officer observed a Grey GMC Terrain traveling 52 in a 35 MPH zone and pulled behind the vehicle. The officer found that the license plate registration was expired as of October 2021. The officer initiated a traffic stop within a CVS parking lot. When the officer came in contact with the driver, he observed that she had extremely dilated pupils, glossy eyes, and lethargic behavior. The officer explained the reason for the stop (speeding) and the driver became extremely argumentative. The driver stated that she did not need a drivers license (as she was not driving a commercial vehicle). The driver was was removed from her vehicle and placed into a police vehicle. Upon looking up the drivers information, it was revealed that her Mississippi drivers license had been expired since 10/21/2021. It was also revealed that the she had an active warrant out of Santa Rosa County for Failure to Appear for Driving While License Expired. During the inventory of the vehicle, a clear plastic baggy was located inside the driver’s backpack on the front passenger floorboard which contained a white powdery substance, identified as c*caine. The driver did not take ownership of any of the items. Due to the officer’s training and experience and personal body behavior, the driver was determined to be operating a motor vehicle while her faculties were impaired. The field sobriety tests were not conducted due to the driver displaying erratic behavior ranging in non-compliance, complained, argumentative, irrational mindset, extremely dilated pupils, etc… The driver was charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, driving under the influence, and possession of c*caine.

You can also travel by crawling, rolling over and scooting on your ass! Other ways to travel freely is with a motorcycle, a car or a truck! Let’s not forget traveling freely on roller skates, mopeds bicycles, and tricycles! Hell, the illegal invaders coming across our southern border are currently freely traveling on the tops of trains! Our current government is not finding that to be a problem are they? In fact there are multiple video showing these illegals not being required to show identification to get on planes and are being fast tracked through the anti 4th Amendment TSA lines without being checked! These illegals are in many places being able to forgo background checks or ID requirements when purchasing fire arms and no ID to receive free tax payers food, housing or medical! Illegals will not be required to have a license to vote! TALK ABOUT FREEDOM! But yes, the illegals will have the right to travel in their privet property just like everyone else! People cannot however freely travel in a “motor vehicle”! A “vehicle “ is legally known as something that transports goods and or services and used in commercial activities! It must be registered as such because it is regulated by government and only licensed “drivers” can operate “vehicles”! Travelers do not have the right to operate “vehicles” nor do they have the right to “drive” ! “Driving” is a commercial privilege regulated by government! That is the law!

The police cannot let these idiots control the traffic stop. When she refused to exit the car, she should have been pulled out and cuffed. Demanding a supervisor is total BS and should not be tolerated; it only leads to more of this nonsense.

Driving is absolutely a right. If I have a valid drivers, insurance, The registration and I pay my taxes… then driving on a taxpayer funded road is absolutely my right. It’s not a privilege.

My elderly, narcissistic mother could not be told she was wrong. She didn’t understand the law. She would go out her front door holding an old baseball bat, and yell at kids running all over her lawn, threatening to “break their legs”. I told her she shouldn’t do that, it’s illegal and she could get in trouble. She told me I was crazy and knew nothing. I was a retired prosecutor and judge. Some people just make up their own rules.

The most fascinating thing is this sovereign citizens think driving and traveling are mutually exclusive. You are going from one location in the US to another which is you’re right as a citizen and you don’t need any special licensing for that. But you are also operating a motor vehicle to travel which is driving which is not a right and something you must be licensed for. Like if they just thought about what they were saying for 2 seconds they would get it.

@@TheRazaah Once you get arrested for suspected driving while impaired, they can search your car. She was "being detained" before she exited the vehicle. They would need her permission before that point, but not after it.
@@TheRazaah they cannot search her car without probable cause, but they weren’t searching her car. Since she was being arrested, the car had to be towed. Since the car was being towed, they need to take inventory of it, same as they do with your personal belongings when you’re arrested/booked. She should have served jail time for driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and the other traffic violations but she took a plea deal and that’s why she got probation

I am also married to a police officer. So, you are incorrect about your assumptions. Try again. I just also notice when someone is trying to argue or “educate” instead of after arresting her, just taking her in. He said many times ‘he didn’t care’ what law she was talking about and she can ‘talk to the judge’. He was doing it because she was difficult to his officers and he needed to be right. I just hope that whatever happens, I hope this person is NEVER allowed to have a driver's license ....under any circumstances .....even if she can pass every driving test.

They already explained it they do visual inspection as she can't have her car while in jail so they have to impound it, this means inventorying it in event she claims towing company stole from her, upon seeing ammo in the car they do have probable cause to search it for a gun as they can not knowingly turn it over to a tow yard with a firearm in it. They must remove it and store it in a safer location. If they just toying it off lot with lot owners permision they don't have to inventory it, they are not suppose to go inside of it. But when city calls them in to tow it, the city is liable if there is anythign dangours in it that could affect people at tow yard, and if there was anything of value in it they can argue the police knew about it, it was in plain site and was later stolen.
The inventory lest them log what they did find in the car while securing it for the owner, so if anything goes missing from that point on its the towyard who touched it not the city who is liable for it.

A couple years ago I was at a local music festival I regularly photograph and I found myself standing next to a cop. I asked him if he’s ever had to deal with sovereign citizens or first amendment auditors. He just said “Oh yeh” and rolled his eyes.
