I made a custom pc controller with two Arduino pro microchips connected via i2c. I also added motion control with two mpu6050 chips. That way you can use gestures to press a button!
I designed the case in Fusion 360 and 3D printed it on my creality ender 3 printer.
The triggers are force-sensing resistors, so they are analog buttons that measure the amount of force applied, much like triggers on a controller. the top section can be screwed off for additional attachments.
watch me build stuff live!

This needs more views. Nice job dude!
Thank you! Fingers crossed folks share it around
Ok for once youtube recommendations did it's job!
I saw this a few minutes ago on RUclips’s #shorts. Dude, excellent work! Love it 👍🏻.
Thank you!
Snack bowl connector. You are killing me 🤣🤣🤣
The design of the two controllers looks like large pebbles
Beautiful!
this definitely Needs more views.
this project is amazing!
That's what I was looking for.Nice job 👍
Wow, that's what I need. Great project
Nice work bro
this is beautiful. I would love to get my hands on one
This... Is likely the only viable option to make handheld consoles with a Pi board. I've been searching about it all lately and MAN IS IT HARD TO FIND ANYTHING ON IT.
very nice project! thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! I also have tutorial videos if u want to make it or something similar
How have I never heard of you?!? I saw your short on the controller and had to check your channel! Subscribed immediately!
Thanks so much! Lots more videos to come
Super cool
This is awesome!
Thank you!
That is freakin wild. I just want a wireless handheld trackball mouse. Your controller thing is so cool.
Thank you!
You can tell you put so much thought it to this great work!
Why doesn't this video have millions of views!? Amazing job I'd love to so something like this!
I dunno, but you're helping by commenting and watching, so thank you!
@@noycebru liked the video, I subscribed and shared the video as well! This video deserves millions of views! I'd love to be able to do cool things like this! You're so talented!
A few things.
Firstoff, I'm relatively new to the maker community and am looking for a way to make a controller with two independent halves, so this might be a godsend here.
Second, I always wanted to see a set of VR controllers that could also play flat screen games, and this just might be the perfect form factor for that.
Love it! Subscribing
Sheeeeeshh
Very nice
Thank you!
this is awesome I've been searching around for guides for building one of those stream decks and your channel is really the thing I was looking for👌🏻
Glad you found them useful
it is really awesome work! do you consider making full long tutorial? cheers...
I have two other technical videos showing how these work in more detail.
Oh my fucking god.
You could remove or simplify cables, it will make the controls less heavy
This is great. I’ve made some joysticks in the pass but never posted them. I’m planning a single handed one now.
Really like your trigger idea, I think I’ll stick to a double trigger on mine though.
Thanks for sharing!
You are a G
Nice work man , I wish if u could make a tutorial step by step on how u did this project, from the design until the final step, that would be amazing
Thank you, i have two tutorials up on the channel.
@@noycebru could be please put them in a tutorial playlist, it would be easy to access, I saw u have two playlists (How to) and (random)
This is awesome. I wish I could pay you to make me a different custom controller lol.
Yoooo🔥🔥🔥
Hey man,
I've been looking for something like this for the past 3 years, and I've finally found it, so thank you so much!
I'm not too good at electronics, so I'm unsure as to how to connect the force sensitive resistors and analog joysticks to the pro micro, so I would really appreciate if you could link a circuit diagram for this. Once again, cheers on the amazing work you have.
P.S. I don't know why, but I can't join your discord because the link isn't working for some reason.
I hope this gets Bigger
Me too, lol
@@noycebru keep it up and it Will happen
I’m tryna make something like the GMK keyboard joystick or the Maxxstick (just look it up). Any idea where to start 😂?.
I just got a elegoo uno I thinks it’s a arduino. But I’m not sure if it would be able to do something this massive
Would it be possible to use a PS4 controllers gyroscope in this kind of a split controller design? There isnt really a split controller Designed specifically for the use of the gyro as the main input for aiming, so it'd be nice if that could be a possiblity.
I want to build my own controller (I make crazy mods to existing ones) but I have to know before I really dive in, those force sensing resistors, can I use potentiometers to make triggers instead? Can't see why it wouldn't work but I am no expert 😆 would anything else need to change?
Can you make a 7 inch lcd monitor with built in usb generic gamepad?
I've been looking for exactly this, since I've been having some various mobility issues that make it hard to use a controller in a comfortable way. Would you take commission for a set of these?
why only 200 views? Omg
I'm glad you liked it! Hopefully it gets picked up by the algorithm
@@noycebru it better do. this is the same level of content that the youtuber Basically homeless does
Why didn't you show L1 R1 ?
No room on the board for these buttons ?
and what are those presure sensitive resistors u used for triggers?
Are custom controllers like these able to be purchased or commissioned?
I think i will make something like this when i can buy the parts.
Do you know if you can emulate an xbox controller through bluetooth?
how to make them wireless?
Pretty cool. What 3D printer did you use for it?
Ender 3
@@noycebru Thank you, I knew it looked familiar
Please upgrade(updates) for control so It should be like controlling ps5.
How much would charge to make one ?
Brother This is soooo cool..
I think u suffer a lot .. you should start selling this controller.. because people like me can buy it but can't have availability to build this
Thank you!
Aphoteozic
bro can i suggest something...not money but a project if you want and if you can do
Can you please provide circuit diagram
I posted two tutorial videos should give you a rough guide.
I'm interested in buying one if you willing to make one for me and I just would want standard bc I am not that tech sawvy about that stuff but I would be interested in buying depending on how much you charge
Is the gyro precise enough to aim with it?
I dont think so.
You gonna publish these under GPL?
Code and 3d print is in the description
If I want it to be connected, can I just use one pro micro?
Yep, but u may run out of connections.
I would recommend a teensy if ur trying to emulate modern controller
@@noycebru Okay, thanks man, I'm trying to emulate an Xbox controller inside a Gamecube controller shell, and your videos are what I've been looking for.
Where is wiring?
I have other vids that shows the wiring
Can we get this
3d print files and code in bio
Ayo give this man a freaking sponsorship!!!
I'm also the 69th likes 😏
Niceeee
