I was OBESE and started to jump rope 5 months ago. I can't even finish half of this workout at first. Now I can do it 3 times!!! I lose total of 20 POUNDS and continuing my journey! I was worry about jumping will hurt my knees before I start. But it turns out just fine! I felt my knee and tight getting stronger. For others who got doubt because of "too heavy to workout". Let's give it a try first. Do the thing :)
Just wanna say I LOVE THIS! I was getting bored of my old routine. Still can’t double under for 30 secs straight so I do 10 double, 10 reg, 10 double for that part!
3 years later and I still do this particular workout very frequently, this is the best workout to do when you're short on time or don't feel like really working out!
Lost over 4 stone in 9 months thanks to you guys. Obviously, diet has been changed too. However, you guys were my go to cardio. I have filled out your form and told my story to be mentioned In your weigjtloss shout outs. Please feature me!! :)
I'm finally doing the thing!!! This ain't no joke. I can only do regular bounce and for 20 secs so building up to 30 but still feel the burn and sometimes the whiplash hahaha but all good practice. Thanks JRD #dothething🥰🥰
I am doing 1000 Skipping and Little bit of Fasting and Nibu Pani in the Morning..Its 19th Day running and I am posting videos in my channel which keep me motivated😀
I love you gyus soo much, really keep doing that, because you gyus are the best in this. The last 2 days i do 20x1 min jump rope and 1 round Tabata for fat lose... And now my legs are burning like hell :d... I hope some day i met you gyus in real life... But im far from america :(
Great workout 🏋️♀️ wish I could follow along but my rope broke a week ago so I’ve been mating running miles everyday which is not as fun as jumping rope. But who else thinks the jump rope dudes should do a cross rope giveaway? 🙋♂️

I don’t have a scale so i don’t know if I lost weight but I know I lost inches based on my clothes. This is the second video I started doing. And it felt very challenging. I hope I see more results.
Hi I really liked your video. I got threw 7 mins though, and I didn't have a rope. I want to see what it was like, and I'm sold. I plan to do it for reals one day. Thing is I might be too fat for the whole workout, but I will get there. Plus, my coordination stinks. I gave thumbs up and a subscribe. Thanks, again.
I have been doing jump rope for 3 months (5 days a week)but I didn't saw any expected changes in my body ..IAM overweight obese,😓😓😓😓😓 can anyone tell some suggestions to lose weight please IAM heavily depressed
I used to be real chunky and I started eating very light and some days I would go without eating completely besides boiled eggs in water. Start fasting and getting the proper nutrition afterwards. I know it sounds difficult but I had to do it and I’m telling you it was painful at first but it works
nutrition is EVERYTHING. All the exercise in the world won't matter until you get your nutrition in check, that means eat less calories than you burn (aim for an average deficit of 500 calories daily) and have at least 70 to 80% of the food you consume be "healthy" i.e. not processed industrialized crap. If you are getting started, you have to track your calorie intake precisely. There are apps for that.
Being at a calorie deficit is key to any weight loss program. A very simple method to start reducing calories without counting everything or going on a crash diet is to gradually remove one thing that is obviously high in calories in your regular eating day. This might be chocolate, soda, candy etc. By reducing the amount of any one of those you'll start to drop the amount of calories you take in each day in a safe and sustainable way. Then once you become used to not having that one thing, try reducing the amount of something else, and so on. Also a secondary benefit of giving up a high calorie food or drink is that you'll reduce your sugar intake. This can help reduce any inflammation you might have, and increase your energy levels. Depression has many different reasons, but lack of energy, fatigue, and pain are some of the most common contributing factors to feeling depressed.
Stay active! Do not quit! It gets demoralizing when you do not see the scale lower or notice the changes, but trust me, they are happening! If you are legit skipping 5 days a week for 3 months, your cardiovascular endurance has significantly improved. Aim to eat healthy, real food, cut out processed and fast foods. Consistency is the real key here, weight loss takes TIME, do not quit and keep trying your absolute best! Everyday!
hey jump rope dudes i wanted to ask a question im currently 13 years old and im 48kg and 5'4 im not really fat but im not really fit either and like my arms and stuff are pretty skinny so i just work on building muscle and doing jump rope everyday without as such changing my diet (which isnt really healthy) im not gonna be going in a caloric deficit since my sister whos a doctor told me that since im a growing child right now it isnt really good for me so if im not in a caloric deficit but im jump roping everyday and doing muscle building exercises will i see a little bit of fat loss
Today I did my 4th 30 minutes workout jumping rope but it seems like it's not hard enough, I can jump for a straight 1,5 minutes then I have to briefly stop just because I loose coordination, but my breath and heart beat hardly change, I don't know how to make it harder in order to lose fat, any tips?
I started jump roping 2 weeks ago and it was ok, but for some reason every-time I try running or jump roping my ankles and shins start hurting really bad I can barely walk
CR is a big investment for a beginner. If u decide u really want to keep doing it, then consider CR. JRD, Do u have any recommendations on a good beginner PVC 5mm rope for her? I just use CR. Did recently order a Punk Rope to give my CR days off.
I am about to get back to exercising again after my covid infection, I am now 222 lbs, not the 165 lbs - 170 lbs ideal for my height. How many calories do we lose after the 10minute work out?
Calorie burn varies so much from one person to the next (height, weight, heart rate, rope type, etc). Bring the intensity, and a high calorie burn will follow!

tip to make it harder: do stationary runs, quick feet, or jumping jacks in between regular jumps (on break times)
