I literally just had this happen to me for the first time with my first washer since getting a flat and I this is the first video that came up and it worked instantly. I was panicking so thank you 😂. 8yrs on and still just as relevant
I decided to clean my washing machine with a lot of bleach straight from the bottle. The suds poured out from the dispenser drawer, the washing machine was full too, didn’t know what to do, pressed stop. God bless the owner of this video, it worked instantly. Thank you!!
I was really panicking that I might have damaged the washing machine by adding lots of soap!! SO THANKFUL I SAW THIS VIDEO cause I read somewhere else to add vinegar and I was not comfortable with that!!
Vinegar is safe for all machines. Fabric softener is actually horrible for them, but works best for this particular job (suds reduction), and should be used for this…. Appliance repair people all seem to be on the same page tho, that regular use of fabric softener is the worst thing you can do to your machine… that and too much detergent, obviously.
That's a load of bollocks. And who uses powder in this day and age? Buy the boxes of liquid tablets. You just put that in the machine and the clothes on top. And too much or too little detergent is fuckin nonsense. Don't listen to this wanker.
I used a washer detergent that is used to clean the washer without clothes in. The foam that came out was unbelievable! It has never happened before and I followed the instructions. I just mopped up the foam and left the machine to do the extra rinse!
This is a better idea than opening the door and letting it spill on the floor then sweeping most of it into a trash can and toweling up the rest. I speak from experience
This is not necessarily the cause of the excessive amount of powder. At my place, when Mom threw in kitchen cloths, which from wiping the dishes were from washing liquid, there was a lot of foam. The same can be with towels as you don't rinse your hands well, you just wipe the soap on the towel.
This happens every time I use liquid detergent. It doesn’t matter if I use the recommended amount, half that amount or even less. It never happens with powder detergents.
Do you have super soft water? Soaps also produce crazy suds at our home, and we have the softest water I’ve ever felt in my life… Definitely powder detergent is better for keeping suds down…
@@piecesoftheheart9231 I never thought of that but you’re probably right. This never happened at my old house. It’s only since I moved here. The water is soft everywhere here but maybe it’s particularly soft in my area.
To err on the safe side I decided to remove my laundry and manually clean them in the shower, because I doubted the foam would come down. After that I did the trick with the softener and it's ok. I don't think it needed any softener .
I heard conditioner not good for your clothes or washing machine in the long term. I noticed that the blue bit in the first compartment is not existing or is back to front from the way - fitted could you please show the proper placement
I'm using washing pods but my machine still foamed now (I've added scent boosting beans to the wash, but its not the first time).ive run out of softener so not very helpful
My washing machine had quite a bit of white foam around the base of it and I thought it might of been these new liquitabs I was using until I swe this video and then had a look at the draw on the machine and realized it was coming from there!!
I wish this worked. I did not add too much detergent, but it was filled with suds. It's been 3 hours of washing and the suds have not gotten any better. First tried vinegar, then the fab softner.
Thank u sooo much ...it really worked foam is reduced to 10 percent.....I thought my would be damaged......will my machine gt damaged ,because this has happened 5 to 7 times in the past...in future I will be carefull, but has the damage already been done
So do you empty the washer before putting the fabric softener and 1\2 gallon of water and running a cycle or leave the clothes in? In my case it’s a blanket and it’s soapy.
Adding even more chemicals to chemicals, to reduce foaming? Fabric softener is very toxic . Instead of saturating my laundry with nasty substances I prefer to use white vinegar with a tiny bit of detergent. This works well, and vinegar also removes caulk in the machine.
Same thing happened in my lg washing machine Over foaming Than it settled down But i was thinking that does over foaming may have damaged my machine i want to know that

Similar thing happened to me 😂, my washer wasn’t working, so I decided to go on a walk, but then I came back to something like this 😂😂😂!
Thank you!! I put way too much detergent for a little amount of clothes and this saved me!
Thank you! The fabric conditioner worked instantly and has saved our washing machine from a soapy death.
When your a guy and wash your clothes for the first time and you end up here😂
I feel targeted 😂
Amen boys
Same bro bro 😂 thats how you learn it

This is complete nonsense you fool.

Wow thank you!!!! I thought I was going to flood my apartment!!
Thank you very much! I used Downey rinse and refresh, right in the tub and it worked great.

@@laurabrooks6279 fabric conditioner is an instant fix. Bit late now of course but keep a bottle handy in case it happens again.

I think it’s to late for me as I added dish soap and let it go through the cycle and a few more thinking it’ll go away

Thankyou so much !!
Is there anything besides a softer
THANK YOU!!! God bless you
life saver thank you
I used a Fairy Gel pod and it just came out of the draw but the pod goes into the drum which is one dose so why does this happen with a pod
Did this when I was cleaning the washing machine because of a funk
So do you empty the washer before putting the fabric softener and 1\2 gallon of water and running a cycle or leave the clothes in? In my case it’s a blanket and it’s soapy.
Just leave it in and add the fabric softener to drawe and it will disappear, the suds
i am allergic to fabric softener....what else can be used???
Vinegar in middle fabric softener holder. 2 oz. Absolutely despise fabric softener!
You literal god
What the hell does "hard" or "soft water" mean?
And too much detergent or not enough? Which is it?
Hard water is water that has iron buildup in it, frequently happens on well water. Soft water is city water.
@@Elizabeth-eb9il It's too much lime in water, not iron
Google it you dolt.
Praise Jesus it worked

I have an LG washing mechine too. The door it literally poping open because there’s so many suds.
I like foam
Please Work
I just keep going nothing happened 😂😂😂😂
Hey Jesus Christ loves u acts 238 and UPCI church locator for a church
Nonsense. I used the right amount. And who uses the drawer in this day and age? It's much easier using the washing blobs that dissolve in the machine.
Thank you 😊
