True statement @10:12. What you do is important. I've enjoyed watching many of your videos and trying to catch up on some of the older ones. I'm 67yo and have done a fair amount of outdoor adventuring but I'm still learning. Thanks for letting me tag along on your adventures!

I think this was my favourite video of yours to date. It had everything. And I totally agree with you - when I’m out in the bush I’d much rather see no human beings. A great video mate and I really appreciate what you do.

Me and my wife live in Maryville, Tn., and hike every minute we get a chance in the smokies and we love to watch y'all when we're not and seeing how much you love to be out in nature as we do! Great job and hope to maybe see you on a trail one day.

I agree RIP to the three backpackers. Luke thanks a lot for this Vid this was the best Vid I have seen in a long time. The quality the content everything I felt like I was there. Again great job and thanks
Okay, First you passed a hiker who was kind of a zombie. Then hiked into spider webs, where no one has passed recently. Then heard a voice. Sounds a bit haunted. Thanks for sharing
Your a great dad buddy so you will be what every good dad will do for his kids… what ever needs to be done… its obvious you love them both and with honesty and care you set the record straight for both of them… i commend your actions
Great trip Luke, it made me laugh when you said you had no cell phone signal and we heard two subsequent iPhone "dings". That's how it goes sometimes 😀📱
Strength and honor back to you, good sir! I've said it before but will say again that I love your videos...your positive vibe is awesome, and you always seem to have a great time.
I made a choice back in high school do I want to fit in with my friends and do drugs and smoke weed or not and I choose to be high on life and adventure and am proud I made that decision. I have never taken drugs in my life. I don't even take aspirin. You miss out on everything when on drugs ! Great videos and really enjoy them. Thanks !
+Dougie Price I did both too, started with nature as a kid, sex drugs and rock and roll as a teen and back to nature again as a adult. still smoke a spliff sometimes. ;)
Luke Thank You for all the videos and time. That You take to talk and explain things as You go. Your videos really keep my mind on good things. I wanted to wish Your Mom a very speedy recovery and to You a very big Thank You for eveything You do.
Luke, a couple of things. Bee Stings. Carry some of those Benadryl Strips along with your Epi-Pen. They help and work quickly. (I know from personal experience.) Food. Try carrying some Knorr Sides as well as Hard Sausage. Cook the sides and shave the Sausage into it. I eat this quite often while hiking and it works well. (You can add some freeze dried Veggies as well.) (Hey I'm German and old school.) My favorite cool weather jacket set up is a Bundeswehr Gore Tex Parka with a Fleece Jacket. It's waterproof as well as windproof and warm enough for Fall and early Winter. Sleeping Arrangements. I always carry a Wool Blanket to toss on top of my Sleeping Bag. It helps keep me warm at night and it is comfortable int he morning around the fire. It also doesn't weight that much. (Yes I carry an Air Mattress, as does my Wife. We allow that weight because of the comfort.) That shelter would be great during a Winter storm. I would love it. Cat
Hello Luke, love all your videos I try to remember hit like on all of them. That being said why would anyone go outa of the way to dislike your videos. It blows my mind! WOW!
so many of hiker are missing in Yosemite every year that it is the number 2 place of all the national parks in the US . the weird part is most are never found with no trace . in joy
Luke, thanks for another truly inspirational great overnight adventure! now you've really got me jonesing for a fall overnight Adventure myself thanks for the great videos!
Awesome Overnight Adventure Luke. I think I've watched all of them hahaha. Best one was your Bushcraft night when you rocked the super shelter. I hope you do more like that.. And if it's not to much trouble next time your talking temperature can you include the celsius conversion as well for us Canadians..
Glad to see your still using the optimus crux cook stove. After a couple of your reviews( I think maybe some of the first ones). I bought my Terra weekender cook set and love it!!!!
Thanks for the video Luke, its great to see the scenery that you have in your next of the woods, we dont have awesome forests /mountains like you have here in England, glad we dont have bears thats for sure. Id probably have an accident if i saw one of them hahaha. Great vid, look forward to the next one, all the best and stay safe .
I remember, back in the summer of 1978, I was only 10 years old. My older brother and i use to go out regularly on trail excursions, as part of our daily exercise, in the country forests, during our summer school vacations, in the northern Laurentian mountain regions, in Quebec. One day, my brother decided to make a cross-country skiing trail and as we started clearing the branches, on our path, we both stumbled into a huge bee hives nest. Hence! we both got literally stung by 40 bees, in one shot all at once, leaving us with about twenty sting marks each, all over our backs. Needless to say that we were both pretty well lucky, at the time. Otherwise, we might’ve been just dead, by now. Lol! Johnny, Montréal, Canada!
I go hiking by myself and I take my hatchet and a full tang knife on my belt all the time, you have to make some type mark trail, construction tape works great and a sharpie. Awesome show thank you.
Terrific adventure Luke. That bear was impressive, the speed in which it came down the tree was jaw dropping. Very cool that you take the time for the positive message, I'm sorry about your cousin, it seems that we all have somebody like that in our lives. Thanks for bringing us along man. -Jacko
Awesome vid as usual Luke and great advice for the younger generation who might think drugs are cool, a healthy outdoor lifestyle is cool, walking through the wood, mountains, beaches etc is cool. The only thing I see wild camping in the Lake district is sheep, sheep and more sheep. Keep up the good work bro, Strength and Honour.
There was a missing hikers remains found here in Yukon Territory Kluane National Park earlier this summer in July, very sad to hear about. When im out backpacking an camping, i love watching wilderness survival movies, like The Grey, my favorite movie, or i watch old TOGR adventure videos :) I'm glad The Yukon is too cold for snakes to live, one less thing to worry about lol, there still wolves, lynx, and bears. -Jake
Hey Luke. That adventure was so amazing and awesome. Looks like you also ran into an area with a supernatural portal of some kind, that would explain why you heard that voice of a lady... Let's be honest, No lady would be out there in the middle of nowhere, unless she was lost somewhere deeper in the wilderness and crying out for help. But you were fearless as usual..So cheers! my friend cheers! So enjoyed this video.👍 I'm catching up on your past videos, Since I am a new subcriber to your channel. Cheers!
See...maybe thats why the older guy was acting strange if you heard a voice im sure he did too. And he freaked out. Yes theres paranormal in mountains too.
Great hike Luke! From an Firefighter/Ambulance Jockey, I would get my doc to prescribe an EPI-pen to put in the first aid kit, and a small 2 oz. bottle of Benadryl. Could save your life in the backcountry, anaphylactic shock happens fast and then you're screwed. It gets worse with every sting til one day it locks down your repertory system....bad times!love the videos,Brett
Most pancake recipes call for, perhaps 2-3 tbsp. melted butter or oil mixed into the batter, with a spray of pam in the pan, that is all.
Once again these videos are worth every minute watched. Look forward for more.
i guess I am quite off topic but do anybody know of a good website to watch newly released movies online?
@Julio Justice flixportal :P
@Simon Aaron Thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it!!
@Julio Justice No problem =)
"luke warm, just my temperature." - very funny!
Very nice video, especially with the pancakes. :))) Thank you, Luke!
True statement @10:12. What you do is important. I've enjoyed watching many of your videos and trying to catch up on some of the older ones. I'm 67yo and have done a fair amount of outdoor adventuring but I'm still learning. Thanks for letting me tag along on your adventures!
