This is a poor video. In the first minute, there are three glaring mistakes. Four distinct regions of Florida - Panhandle, Uplands, Everglades, and Keys? Where does the entire northern half of the Atlantic coast fit in? What about Tampa Bay region and southwest Florida? Also Florida is not the home of Mickey Mouse. Mickey has a vacation home here, but he is headquartered in, and from California. Then #1 is shown as Jacksonville, with a following description of Gainesville. This robot does not know what she's talking about.
It breaks my heart to read people bashing Florida. It might not be for you but there are so many different areas you could choose from. As of now it's one of the safest political place to live. I was raised all over the US but spent most of my life in Florida. If you don't like it I see no reason to bash it. Move! In every state there are good and bad aspects. It depends on what you want. There absolutely other states that might be better but there are more that are worse. Florida, you either love or you don't! I personally love it, with all of its so called flaws.
I was sad to see Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, Fl. in St. Johns county, south of Jacksonville was not on your list. It is the richest county in the state and the schools are the best in the state. Nocatee is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States.
If you don't consider the excessive heat, hurricanes, mosquitos, alligators, high cost of housing, snowbirds, ridiculous cost of car insurance and home insurance. It's a great place to live. Really?
Wow, this video is quite inaccurate. We make a lot of videos documenting places in Florida. For example there ARE some safe places to live like Lake Mary, Winter Springs, Oviedo in Central Florida. But they won't be "cheap" because there is no such thing.

Having lived in Florida for 60 years, both in Miami, Aventura and presently TreasureCoast ( Stuart), you missed so many great affordable places.
Don't New York my Florida.
Hello Deborah😊
Actually Florida has a much higher crime rate then NEW York does, and you dont even get a theatre District with all that crime. You dont live in Florida, you just exist in Mickey Mouse land. LMFAO!
New York my Florida? What does that mean? Its way too late buddy. Florida already has 1 million more people than New York and Florida has double the crime rate and is even more diverse than New York as well. The only thing Florida doesn't have is the cold weather but then again Florida is the one that gets the strong hurricanes almost every year. Florida is also more expensive than New York over all as well. Don't New York my Florida? Is that quote from the 1920,s? Lmao for the 2020,s its more like don't Florida my New York lmao.
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good nightlife.🇺🇸❤
Cheap and safe? These are some of the most expensive and unsafe cities here in Florida.
Right
How badly unsafe???? How's ocala??,
I think you should add The Villages, FL to your list. We now have approx. 145,000 residents and it's growing every day. It's a senior mecca and has ample employment opportunities.
Jacksonville's population is way more than 129,000, about 900,000. It is the most populous city in Florida and the entire Southeastern United States.
Jacksonville isn’t nearly as big as Atlanta.
Jacksonville is biggest city land wise, too. We first saw Jacksonville in the 1960’s. I must say it has much improved since those days. We lived 42 years in Gainesville. Left there in 2007. It was a wonderful place to live while we were there, but it just isn’t the small quaint college town that it used to be.
Yeah these are all ads they look like regular RUclipsrs but they’re all just ad from realtors and they’re controlling the country and making big millions of dollars off of working class people it’s a shame
@@jaycarlton5037 According to Google, Atlanta's population is 497, 000.
@@Bonnie-mc9zo I once watched a video about Ocala, FL, and I got bombarded with realotor emails for weeks following.
Many people downing Jacksonville as being a rough city , if you think Jax is rough you’ll definitely hate New Orleans , Chicago , St. Louis and Louisville etc crime is way worse than Jacksonville. Every city has their rough spots but overall Jacksonville isn’t that bad, there is still good areas and good people here especially coming from Louisville Kentucky . Lived in Tampa and it felt like a parking lot everywhere I drove around even on their toll way at times !
Exactly, I live in Jacksonville and I have none of the issues everyone on here are talking about. Every major city has the good and the bad.
I love Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, Bradenton bch, . Just beautiful
Correction for the beginning Jacksonville/Gainsville?
I visited once when i was younger then went on my own just recently, 26 years old now, and planning to move there soon!!!
Which part were you looking into?

You went from Jacksonville to Gainesville and your numbers are all wrong for the cities.
People are interested in the beaches, the social life, the restaurants, ect, but all I care about is that its warm..Im here in N Cal and it's almost March and there's still a cold wind blowing..Sure it will be great April through October, but over one third of the year is cold nights and cool days..One third of your year..
U gotta go to south Florida then. North Florida gets hot af in the summer but pretty cold in the winter. I live in Tallahassee and its been 80°+ all week and now its 50° south Florida just stayes hot/warm 24/7
@@1wayDrell Yep, south Florida is the way to go..Here in Sacramento it's turned spring, 70 degrees, fruit blossoms, but the nights are still chilly..Problem is I checked Miami and the housing is kind of high there, maybe the gulf side would be better..In Miami you're paying extre for the glitz and glamour
Would love to make a go of it in a smaller city, we’d sell up and bring our cash for a new life in a family orientated space.
Moving to the space coast in a couple of weeks. Excited!
I live here. I have loved it until the past few months. It's covid central and leadership is in denial. We are in crisis. Just warning you. It's going to get worse. School started last week, mask optional and so more hospitalizations and quarantining.
@@kimberlydeltorchio7818 yes I heard. Thanks for the information. Luckily my family are vaccinated and we will take precautions, but I think COVID is here to stay😞 And science needs to also focus on therapeutics, like a theraflu type OTC and the like.
The minute you put Miami on there you were discredited
😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It was all downhill once I saw Jacksonville lmao
I agree, done with Miami
Yessssss, no Miami
Good information thanks!
This video is great, but needs some editing. Jacksonville was the first city mentioned, but immediately jumped to Gainesville. It left me wondering which city was being discussed. Please correct this. Thanks.
Put West palm beach, fl in there
I’m looking at the maps now in the most affordable place I seen is 1,500 is there any places that are a little bit cheaper but pretty?
Orezoriax it is a bit pricey but look at West Melbourne Fl
riviera beach ....everybody go to riviera
Don't forget Del Ray Beach!!!! Loved it there
I think the high interest rates will cool off the market. I live in N.Y and a small 2 bedroom home with a small down payment will be over $1500 a month plus over 6 thousand a year in taxes. I tried selling a starter home for Zillow price and gave up but when I put it up for rent it got crazy!
Really I sold my house in New York ago had a bidding war got over asking price for it move down to Florida I'm here a year now very unhappy and I wish to God I never sold my house I miss my friends and my job and the hustle and bustle people down here in Crystal River Florida or any part of Florida they all like to keep themselves they don't like to communicate with others and have company or do things where other people they're always on their own it's hard to make friends down here and I am so lonely I pray every day that God gives me the strength to go on and came here because of my health and my grandchildren and my daughter needed my help My husband is a saint and so was my daughter that trying their hearts to make me happy giving myself few more years anything get better in New York where prices the lower then I'm moving back My husband don't know what yet lol But that's my plan
Jupiter is amazing, Its not overcrowded and clean
Jacksonville REALLY Crime ridden
I heard that if you call the police, they won't come unless a really substantial amount of money was stolen. Is that true?
Not a good place to live!
My future home state. ❤️❤️😍😍
I’m planning my move from Massachusetts next year
Mine too. :)
Me too!
Me too, can't wait to leave WA!
me too im leaving New Jersey and NEVER looking back..
I want to know the greenest, most lush towns and cities in Florida. I'm just sick of all these Florida cities that are almost entirely paved over in concrete, big box stores, expansive parking lots/ lawns and with giant commercial signs lining all the streets. It's so very ugly and makes it feel swelteringly hot/ polluted, and over commericalized. Nearly all of these videos only showcase the prettiest corners of the cities mentioned and ignore how overall ugly and littered these cities are. Coral Gables is an exception here. Coral Gables is just gorgeous, and super lush.
Lighhouse point...A hidden gem and centrally located to everything.
Venice Florida is a great place to live
Clueless on what factors were used to pick those cities 🤔
This video is a lie. Florida is among the most dangerous states as well as among the most expensive. On top of that Most of the cities mentioned are among the most expensive in the state as well as the most dangerous. This video couldn't be any more wrong!!! This video is 100% BS.
Most of your cities are on worst lists as well! I call BS on this video

The only things good is it doesn't get freezing and parts have nice beaches but other than that Florida is a shit hole.

You left after ours an hours of traffic jams in Fort Lauderdale in a complete mess in Miami at 5 o’clock in the afternoon you cannot leave your house because you’ll be in a traffic jam for two hours
I moved to Fla from Ny and I am not happy I hate it I wish I can go back to Ny I cry almost everyday 😢😢😢😢

Sorry to hear it isn't working working out for you. i was thinking of moving there for similar reasons (health, to get outside and ride my bicycle or hike more, and I hate the snow and cold, dreary weather). Many of my friends that moved down there from here (NJ) said similar things about missing friends, family, the change of seasons, and having a difficult time adjusting to the pace of life. Wish you all the best.
@@ndlsumr yes thank you very much for answering me back it's not such a bad place it's just that like I said in my other response that I miss friends and family and the hustle and bustle but where I am in Meadowcrest in Crystal River is a very nice community but people stay to themselves and I'm a people person if you ever come down here hit me up on here LOL take care and I wish you all the best🙏⚘❤
@@maggyfernandez9125 I understand completely. A friend who moved to my area from Brooklyn in the 80's said the exact same thing about living here. Thank you for your wishes and invitation!
I'm concerned about Hurricanes, and Gaters! What should you expect if you want to move there.
Don't rely on RUclipsrs to tell you about an entire city. Hurricanes aren't that bad, we just prepare for them and the gators are running around like TV and the internet will make you think they are. However, their are bad people running around in every state, they are who we should be looking out for.
I agree with what was said about sarasota, i always had a great time there.
Coral Gables is surrounded by 13% slums and the traffic is terrible.
Cape Coral is stunning too I loved fort Myers
Now that area is pretty good for older people!
Yes on a bike when is 90 let me know how that go
Very interesting and informative video of 10 most best place to live in Florida.
Hello Ngoc😊
what??? no beaches in tampa . now if ur talking about tampa bay area which includes clearwater and st pete many beaches . do ur research before u give advise .the pictures of the beaches is clearwater \st pete beaches i know i live here .
Jacksonville sucks. Tampa sucks. Miami used to be a paradise, now it sucks, and you need an interpreter. Daytona Beach sucks, a lot of weirdos there. Cocoa Beach is alright, but Cocoa sucks, it's a ghetto. Crime is getting worse in Ocala. Orlando was nice but it's now too crowded and expensive, and the crime is getting pretty bad. Punta Gorda is nice, as is Naples. Palm Beach is fantastic, but avoid West Palm Beach, it's bad.
Which cities would be best for singles in late 20's, early 30's?
Just looking at this raises my serotonin levels.lol.
About places in the west north of the Florida can be good.
You’ve obviously never lived in Jacksonville is disgusting and extremely dangerous!! Do not go! There is a reason house prices are so cheap. It’s the only city I’ve been to where there are armed guards outside of stores and banks
House prices are not cheap only if you dont mind living in the kill zones homes rent for thousands a month
@@darlenepratt3967 it’s very cheap in Jax compared to the other major city’s in FL bc it’s ghetto and gross. That’s just a fact
Like other cities, it depends on the area. I have lived in the city for more than three years and have never ever heard of or seen armed guards outside of a bank. I would not say it's cheap here, but again it depends on where you live just like other cities..
Florida is the tourist Meeca and retirement houses and homes with beautiful nbeaches too and lots of up scsle resturants
Fort laurdales school system is terrible and Jacksonville is the worst city in Florida as far as danger I grew up there and my friends have been getting killed since I was 18 and I have numerous of ex boyfriends that’s been kilt or have been to prison def don’t recommend Jacksonville
My prayers go out to you🙏Ive never lost a friend like that so i could never understand, thanks for the advice. If you still live in Fl and know of some good places to live, any suggestions? Me and my girl plan on moving there from jersey but dont know where to start
Melbourne Florida
🤫
This is a poor video. In the first minute, there are three glaring mistakes. Four distinct regions of Florida - Panhandle, Uplands, Everglades, and Keys? Where does the entire northern half of the Atlantic coast fit in? What about Tampa Bay region and southwest Florida? Also Florida is not the home of Mickey Mouse. Mickey has a vacation home here, but he is headquartered in, and from California. Then #1 is shown as Jacksonville, with a following description of Gainesville. This robot does not know what she's talking about.
Tampa is the worst place to live!!!!!!
@@MM-qz9bl Tampa is definitely not my favorite, but it is surrounded by many great places. I am in Venice, and the Gulf Coast is wonderful.
You mentioned Jacksonville as No 1, then went on to describe Gainesville. Just wondering which you meant?
It breaks my heart to read people bashing Florida. It might not be for you but there are so many different areas you could choose from. As of now it's one of the safest political place to live. I was raised all over the US but spent most of my life in Florida. If you don't like it I see no reason to bash it. Move! In every state there are good and bad aspects. It depends on what you want. There absolutely other states that might be better but there are more that are worse. Florida, you either love or you don't! I personally love it, with all of its so called flaws.
Good my town & county is not one mentioned.
I just read Jacksonville is one of the worse places to live
It's VERY diverse which is why I stay away!
That's because it is!
Also Orlando and Miami
Another video said Jacksonville is the worst place to live in Florida!
Lynn - yes JAX is worthless place to live . There way too many better places in FL

Sooooo is #1 Jacksonville or Gainsville? Anyone else catch that?
Naples, Marco Island
I was sad to see Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, Fl. in St. Johns county, south of Jacksonville was not on your list. It is the richest county in the state and the schools are the best in the state. Nocatee is one of the fastest growing communities in the United States.
If you don't consider the excessive heat, hurricanes, mosquitos, alligators, high cost of housing, snowbirds, ridiculous cost of car insurance and home insurance. It's a great place to live. Really?
It's crazy how someone can say something like this about the entire state. None of these have applied to me except the surprise car insurance rates
😬 Great job Alexa. Try again 🤣.
How about Davenport FL
Please fix this. You somehow combined Jacksonville and Gainesville which are You talking about?
Port Saint Lucie is the best , very Republican .
I thought the whole state is very Republican unlike my previous state of Illinois.
We the people need information about places no wiht gran populetion but little people in it cheap price or value of the houses and no crime,

Very beautiful city.
Can you check out Margate and Oveida Fla for housing
Try St.Augustine, Florida
Anyone live in melbourne? How is it?
Been here for over 20 years and the best places in Florida aren't even on this list everything on this list is crowded and going downhill
Miami and Tampa? Cheap and safe is mot how I would describe them. Just the opposite I’m afraid.
Please edit/fix this video, Gainesville and Jacksonville are two different cities.
How to go there and live
How about Naples?
Naples is great! I live 25mins from there.
Stuart Florida it's safe for your kids plenty of restaurants and other activities. House prices start from 285.000dollars for a family home
Wow, this video is quite inaccurate. We make a lot of videos documenting places in Florida. For example there ARE some safe places to live like Lake Mary, Winter Springs, Oviedo in Central Florida. But they won't be "cheap" because there is no such thing.
I enjoyed the video. But your title says cheap and safe and I didn't see that except maybe Jacksonville.
What about Naples?
