Seems like a place tourist should STOP GOING TO! It seems sketchy for this to happen for the 5th time! 😳
I don't think it's sketchy that they keep getting caught, I think it's sketchy that people have LOOSE AMMO IN THEIR BAGS! These people have no business owning a gun if they can't even store ammo properly. We just keep showing the world how dumb we are.
@@ylm0371 but that's the sketchy part. How many people just walk around with loose ammunition in the duffle bags and suitcases?
Quite a few. It'd easy to get too comfortable with important and dangerous things such as this. Look at how many irresponsible owners leave theirs out for their children to find. Sad reality. @@janedo-re-mi2738
@@ylm0371Looks like someone set them up.. I'll avoid the Island.
@@janedo-re-mi2738 Tyler Wenrich admitted that he'd just been shooting at a range with friends before traveling and used the same bag. His ammo was loose which is illegal in the States! Ryan Watson immediately realized the bag of ammo found in his bag was his because it's the same ammo he uses to hunt with. Sharrita Grier said that the bag her ammo was found in is the same bag she stores away her hand gun and ammo in when her grandkids come to visit on the weekends so they don't find it. Bryan Hagerich and his wife said that the ammo in his bag, that he typically uses for weekend hunting trips, was in a box he owned. The 5th guy hasn't spoken publicly. So do you mean to tell me that Turks and Caicos had 5 different types of ammo that just so happened to match guns that each person owns (without the guns being present) in boxes/bags/containers that those people personally own? Americans are just irresponsible gun owners. There's no reason to use your gun bag as a travel bag. Buy a different bag! There's no conspiracy here. Just stupid people.
The even bigger question is how all these Americans got through U.S. airport security to fly to Turks and Caicos 🤔
Doesn't TSA allow ammunition in checked bags? And the Caribbean island does not allow ANY ammunition whether checked or carey-on.
Just act normal and don't look suspicious.
your assuming that she had it when she left america to fly there. couldn't she have gotten it on the island, and if so, what was she doing there?
I don't think ammo is illegal, unless you have like a TON of it. Even then they'd probably just trash it.
But that's just a guess, still kind of curious that gun owners use the same bags for their guns and travel, at least with loose ammunition. A gun and magazine are generally a lot easier to spot while packing, ammunition obviously a bit harder, so don't leave it loose. They come in boxes as it is, almost curious why there's loose ammunition in these people's bags.
This bullet scam has been around for years in different countries. Agent palms the bullet and "finds" it in the American's luggage. They tell them they can pay a "fine" on the spot or get arrested.
There was no bullet for TSA to find.
It’s her own fault that she had that in her bag. When you leave America, you are no longer under our laws. And how did the TSA miss this AGAIN?!?!
The TSA has been tested by the US government and the result was a 92% fail rate.
They planted those bullets to frame an "american".

Better thought here for you. I have range bags for all my guns and ammo and they never cross paths with my travel luggage!!

this smells fishy to me. 5 americans in 3 months? something is not right.
The problem is that Americans are often stupid and ignorant. They think other countries have the same laws like the USA have. 😂

IT'S A CONSPIRACY 😅😅😅😅😅😅
None of them are saying "the ammo's not mine", its "I forgot to check/thought I checked".
Send her to jail,no holds barred. She knows the law,but brought it anyway. Don’t let the perps go,set the example or forget about your laws meaning anything. No break whatsoever, stupid, woman,or otherwise, doesn’t change the law. Neither does an ex president.
You sound butt hurt
Anger management.
I do believe that certain countries may be doing some crooked things to the tourist either the hotels or the airport or even the law I don't think people are that dumb to take ammunition in their luggage knowing how other countries are strict , it is known that certain countries tourist have been raped killed robbed kidnapped so let's question them instead of them questioning the tourist
You can't take THAT city girl life style out of the country
Two possibilities that I can think of.
Either she brought the ammunition, or someone else is trying to cause problems. Both possibilities do exist, and are very real! I believe either witnesses, or video footage can try to solve this problem.
The problem with witnesses is they can easily disappear, or maybe there are none, so a video is probably the only thing that can clear up these people's names.
Or the actual thing that happened, she transported ammunition in the United States in her luggage at some point in time and forgot about it in some small pocket.
@@neilkurzman4907 Does it make any sense to you, for someone to carry ammunition, and no guns?
I think 2 possibilities exist. Not only 1.

Yes, it makes absolute sense to me. I’m puzzled why it makes so little sense to you that you think it’s a conspiracy.
These people are being detained for having just a few cartridges. Your guns you put away they’re big you don’t keep track of ammunition so closely.
But yet 1800 guns are confiscated by TSA each year. Is that also a conspiracy? Is someone slipping guns into peoples luggage. No these people are careless. But somehow to you that’s a conspiracy because no one can be that dumb. But yet they are.
Possibly simple fix.. automatic sentence if they find YOUR fingerprints on the ammo.
If they find other fingerprints, then boom - you're free. Sounds like airport scam.
That's why they make locks for luggage.....
Or an even simpler fix… make sure there’s no ammo in your bag😂
Good luck trying your “simple” idea with drugs in your bag!
Why is no one considering maybe these people were framed? It happens in other Caribbean countries. In Jamaica they toss ammo in your bag then search you and "find" it. You have to pay a ransom to get out of town.
The State should issue a travel ban. A 12 year sentence for a simple mistake? That is just cruel and stupid.
There's a prankster at the airport.
No, these people did it to themselves.
Curious if she even owns a gun or is somebody planting rounds in luggage as a set up?
Why the fudge do you have that in your luggage or person in the first place.
scratch this place off the list of vacation spots
Correct. Bullet is planted to scam the American into paying a "fine". Common scam for years in different countries.
So then no American should ever travel to an other country! Because most other countries have, thank God, strict gun laws. I mean the rest of the world wouldn’t be sad if the stupid Americans wouldn’t travel to their countries anymore.
I love people who think they can get away with breaking the law by saying "Whoopsie, my bad" or asking for a do-over.
