- In this video I discuss what (I think) is the best fighter plane in Grand Theft Auto Online and why, I explain the reasons as to why X plane is the best and leave it up to you guys to argue amongst yourselves which is truly the best... and also issue challenges to each other cause I know for sure alot of fighter pilots will be watching the video :P

Yesterday was the first time I have ever been griefed by a tryhard in a flying, missile firing, jet bike (oppressor mk2), before that I didn't have a problem with them. Now I hate these things.

Because the rest simply can’t compare. The starling and strike force are without a doubt the best overall in terms of everything, all of the other planes are way too similar in just about everything you can think of (with the exception of the rogue and maybe seabreeze because of their bombs). Most other planes are able to be outmaneuvered by the likes of the pyro, but the pyro is only good for dogfighting, which is why it’s never used.

Pretty much the only counter for mk2 is another mk2, especially if they know that the flares are useless and use emp chaff, you're not countering that one with toreador unless they're not expecting it, ruiner 2k is also just useless nowadays because people just see it coming from a mile way and avoid it or just get out and snipe you from it, then when you're on the ground they'll just nuke your ass.

Federal Bureau of Investigation so the Lazar and Hydra get an explosive cannon but strike force doesn’t (a plane modeled to be the A-10) did you know when they built the A10 they build the gun first and the plane around it..
My Amigo strike force does have an explosive cannon, just a slow fire rate, plus the hydra and laser shoots twice as fast because it has two machine guns to shoot. But I do agree it should have at least the same power and fire rate of hydra / laser seeing as it’s basically a flying gun

The B11 is everything a GTA plane fan would want. Its based off one of the US Air Force’s best planes, its the only plane in the game that has a special gun sound effect (BRRRRRT), its got quite an accurate explosive cannon, which is perfect for air battles, homing missiles, bombs and barrage missiles for ground assault, and it takes way more rockets than the Hydra and Lazer.
Edit: It also has flares.
I think it would be tge best plane if it was just as fast as the LAZAR.
The b11 isnt all u think it is i decided to buy a rogue and fully upgrade it since it was cool and my friend has a b11 we dogfight and i win 100% of the time the rogue has better agility and is faster

O_MightyLegend completely agree I’ve always thought they looked so cool even tho if u watched videos on an A-10 they always say “despite it being ugly and slow” and I’m like what it looks dope and it’s still a jet how slow can it be that’s just in comparison to other jets like an f-16 or harrier.

---Starling EASILY outmatches all planes in air to air. I'm in love with mine.
---The B11 is literally only good for Khanjali griefers.
---The Rouge is magical against explosive sniper pussies. (That rudder makes it insanely hard to hit if utilized correctly.)
---The Seabreeze is also amazing at air to air assuming the pilot has superb aim and patience.
---The Molotok is decent if you wanna make an air show or get somewhere fast.
---The hydra is mainly used to impress that gamer chick by landing it on a roof or something.
---The Lazer is good for ragdolling the guy who glanced at you wrong on the ground.
---The Nokota is great at air to air too, but only if you get the drop on a Lazer or Hydra and land some good hits first. Otherwise you're screwed.
(I literally only fly In GTA. I have experience to back this up.)
EDIT: So now that it's been almost year and a few things have changed, I'm going to give my revised positions on these planes.
---Lazer: The best all around fighter in GTA. Yes it has the endurance of a saltine cracker, but it's speed and maneuverability is more than a match for all other jets. The two exceptions being highly skilled Starling or Pyro pilots. Then you're probably screwed. (I find it perfect for sniping MK2s out of the air with its lazer beam-like explosive cannons. Ba dum tss.)
---Hydra: Still dogshit. Good for what I call "jousting" where two planes come head on guns blazing. Useful for certain missions and cargo.
---Seabreeze: Probably my favorite plane all around. Unique design, bombs, amphibious, countermeasures, and two seats (to show off your flying skills to that gamer girl who thinks you're the shit for flying under a bridge) for getting around with your best bud! No but seriously a skilled pilot can take out oppressors with its machine guns and make Hydra/Lazer/B11 pilots question every life choice they've ever made. (It's insanely fun to drop bombs on Akulas and Hunters as they spam missiles in vain.)
---Rogue: See above.
---Starling: Either the best dogfighter in the game, or the most annoying flying dorito you'll ever sit in. It's all up the pilot.
---Pyro: Very fast and agile. Learn to use the rudders to your advantage and only luck will save your prey.
---Molotok: Stalin's wet dream. ... Is what I'd call it if I ever owned one.
B11: Last but not least- BRRRRRRRT. No but seriously that explosive cannon is good for air to air and NOTHING else. Aim for the elevators and rudders to disable your opponent on the first shot. Then watch as they spin like a top mid-air. It is very durable, and I like to swoop in to "scoop up" my opponents with my wing when I get bored dodging their homing rockets. Nothing like a roadkill with a Warthog.

My favorite is probably he B-11, mostly from it’s real life counterpart, the A-10 Warthog. It’s a shame though that the GAU-8 Avenger wasn’t portrayed accurately, with a fire rate so slow. In most other respects it’s accurate.
We need Su-25 in game. Evey his settings is better than warthog, only in weapon, he bit loose. But armor, speed, maneuver. Great plane ❤️Су-25❤️

Me and my friends always watched videos like these and got into giant dogfights using different planes for different uses, we’d have the huge bombushka and Molotocks defending beside, each plane can have really good uses when in a group as we’ve tested, gta is so good with friends

I fell in love with the B11, it's not always useful for missions but fighting with it is sooo good, the canon might be weak but when you hit 1 or 2 bullet on a hydra/lazer they can't control the jet anymore then you can just get behind him and blast him as they have no counter measures, i use counter measures all the time when they get behind me but B11 has more agility
There are no counter measures for an explosive mg though

I like Chaff with Starling, because you can just activate it when divebombing, so they wont kill you when you turn and start gaining altitude again :)

Yes, I agree with the fact that the Starling is the ultimate weaponized plane, but only for PvP!!
For PvE, I think the Hydra is still the best: it's really fast, it can hover (which also helps a lot when grabbing crates without getting off the plane) and its explosive cannon can pretty much counter every NPC/NPC Vehicle in the game (unlike the Starling).
And I still think the Pyro is better than the Starling for dogfights (but just a little bit better, not that much).

Honestly, i’d just save up and get either the rouge, at $1.2 million or a Pyro at close to $4 million.
Both are the two fastest planes in the game, and if you are a serious grinder, having a fast plane would probably help you out a ton with supply runs for the bunker or MC Business and give you a little protection from griefers and KD Famrers/tryhards

Still remember a year or 2 back I was in a Starling vs. a fully crewed avenger (or had 3 people at least) that was griefing an entire server. Most tense dogfight (if you can even call it that) I was in.
Had to dodge constant cannon shots while trying to line up my missiles to hit them. It lasted about 20 minutes before they managed to finally hit me.
Fun as shit feeling like it was a boss fight with 1 hp XD

Lazer: Dogfight, Air-Ground attack, able to fight a modified aircraft.
Hydra: Transport(due to the VTOL), Air-Ground Attack(can dogfight well, but the agility is slow compared to other jets and planes).
Rogue: Best multi purpose plane(due to the copilot, you can make him bombwhile you are using explosive mg's, and missiles.
Pyro: Interceptor, dogfighter, transport.
Molotok: Interceptor, dogfighter(again, the agility is not so good compared to other aircraft, still able of dogfighting).
Nokota: WW2 escort fighter(at least that is how it look like,because the drop tanks)Collection aircraft, stunt plane(?) Able to dogfight, but the fire power is not so good compared to Lazer or Hydra, still can punish 5he enemy aircraft.
Starling: Interceptor, Fighter-Bomber, dogfight well, but still lacks in fire power, however, it has a booster, which in a good pilot, could chage the whole dogfight.
B-11: Most polivalent aircraft,and a lot of fire power(even then, I think the rogue is better doing all this things, because your copilot can do bombing for you when you use somerhing else) The B-11 can do everything, from dogfight to bombing, to interceptor to Air-Ground attacker, however, ia just 'decent' in all this, a lot of aircraft perform better jobs in all this options.

@@missmichelle1290 both Hydra and Lazer's explosive cannons have 14500 rounds per minute fire rate, making them the planes with the highest fire rate and their cannons are also over powered, i am not sure if the B-11's stock cannon is faster but no one uses those because explosive is op

The Strikeforce is easy to use as how you said it's hard to line up your shot, what I do is I shoot 1 of my missles for tracking and start firing my canoon to where my missle is going and I always get my target down
(I use this for every plane because it's effective)
Personally I’ve seen the most success with the b11. If you can compensate your decreased gun speed you will start hitting your shots a lot more and doing this I’ve been able to take out lasers, hydras, and even other b11s within seconds of the first strike and without sustaining a lot of any damage at all. It is also built like a tank if you upgrade it

I love the starling because, when you’re just trying to exit your hangar, and someone is outside waiting on you to blow it up, you just boost and nobody can catch you

I think it's about each players piloting style. I like the Lazer, but I've seen people very good with the Hydra, Pyro, Rogue and event Stirling.
The rouge is also a really good plane with flares, bombs, explosive machine gun, homing missiles with it insane speeds maneuvering and turning. however, the armor is incredibly weak. one electric poll might seem fine but then u slowly start smoking, and then... yeah.

The Fast it’s missiles are actually pretty bad tbh
@@qoaky they aren't bad but they are dodgeable. My main vehicle that i use is scramjet and there is soo many ways to dodge mk2 missiles. A skilled scramjet kills any jet trying to dive it and mk2's are a joke to it aswell. Rly underrated vehicle
The Fast it is it’s missiles are amazing on their own and the fact you can jump and boost while being pretty fast driving regularly

I actually agree with this. If I see people griefing in lazers or hydras, the second jet I go for is the b11. First choice is always my starling, I've beat almost every aircraft in the game with this, except once when I faced a very skilled seabreeze pilot, but tbf it was a stalemate neither of us got the kill.
Because it was cheaper I bought the rogue, and I found out a few things since then. It can be slowed to what feels like snail pace without the engine turning off and can evade mk2 missiles with just rudder turning, the official name of which I’m unaware. But best of all, it’s cheaper lol.

The A-10 Warthog, or the plane the B-11 is based off of, is MEANT TO STRAFE, and is famous for how DEVESTATINGLY FAST it's front facing machine gun fires. The OPPOSITE of the B-11

For dogfighting (turn rate fighting, not stalling or using VTOL strategies) the general accepted order of best to worst goes as follows:
1. Starling
2. B11
3. Pyro
4. Lazer
5. Seabreeze
6. Rogue
7. Hydra
8. Nokota
9. Molotok
10. Tula
11. Mogul

Lazer, Hydra, Pyro, Starling,
Lazer is good for all, weakness is starlings.
Hydra is best for groundkilling, weakness is dogfighting.
Pyro is a great dogfighter, weakness is nothing.
Starling is also great for dogfighting, weakness is opressors/good missiles.
The only way your dodging some missiles in a Starling is if you continuously use boost. When your out of boost, game over.

The B-11 is so ridiculously strong that even if a laser or hydra hits you with the cannon and you don’t lose you’re elevators you can still fly and even shoot them down
I'm beginning to think he makes stuff up on the spot, in his starling review he said that it wasn't meant for dogfighting
I got in a dogfight with a starling while out in my hydra. Killed him at least three times and he got me once but he wasn't a very good pilot. Personally I like my hydra because of the fact that it spawns in heli spots and the cannon is fun.
U forgot to say that if ur engine is dead (sterling's engine) u can still fly... using the boost

Another good counter to the starling is chaff. Just activate it when the starling gets close, fly away quickly, then turn around and take them out.
