Muggsy Bogues was one of the greatest basketball players in history. Hear me out before you kill me with negative comments. He was over a foot shorter than the average player and almost 2 feet shorter than the biggest player. He averaged 10 points per game against the greatest players in the world at that time. He could dunk, had ridiculous ball handling skills, and helped the hornets win a lot of basketball games. He was my favorite player as a child. I remember my gym teacher Mr. Davidson showed us how tall he was, and in the 5th grade, I was taller than him. Imagine that someone who's 6'-3" today is a small basketball player. He was a foot shorter than that and still managed to score 10 a game. In my opinion, that makes him one of the greatest players of all time. He may not be in the top 20, but in the top 100 because of what he overcame because of his height. Basketball in the 90s was amazing. Sports in the 90s were completely different from today. They were aggressive in every sport; they were allowed to play rough, and it was the beginning of an Era that has only become better every year since.
