The soviet anthem represented the power of all the peoples of the USSR. Without the Azeris, Kyrgyz, Latvians, Estonians, Kazakh, Ukrainians, Turkmen, Lithuanians, Belarusians, Armenians, Georgians, Moldovans, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Russia is alone. Russia is not the USSR.

Yeahh God Save the Tsar, another one that's a bit based but yet again underrated. Pretty decent anthem and kinda nice too, although even though I'm tired of hearing the Russian Soviet tuned anthem over and over again sometimes. Nothing beats me rather than the patriotism and strongness that I feel that gives me coming from the Soviet version/one, the Patriotic Song (*Insert here the Russian translation) is good too although it may bring some bad memories for some. It's as decent, good, and nice as God Save the Tsar sounds
The old national anthem of the Soviet Union is now the new national anthem of Russia since 2000. Vladimir Putin officially adopted the new national anthem with the same music of the late Alexander Vasilyevech Alexandrov and the new lyrics of the late Sergey Mikhalkov.
Not him, the Parliament leader at the end of 2000 and those who voted on TV (October) and December by Parliament or statal duma.
Yeltsin times was good as well.
In my opinion, the USSR Anthem has a better chant than the Patriotic song. So I think the USSR Anthem is better than the Patriotic song.

Even the USSR doesn’t exist and the CPSU was voted out of existence, the remains of the Soviet Union and people and the anthem will live throughout the world, the veterans cry to see there former 74 year country collapse we don’t know how to feel there pain to serve the USSR some us would be excited serve on the Red Army, the USSR and anthem is history and will never be forgotten.
*both the USSR and the CPSU were never voted out of existence and in contrast the majority of the Soviet citizens voted in favour of both in the referendum. Only a small minority combined with the interests of the few illegally dissolved the union.

So I think the USSR anthem has better chant and tune but I do recognize the patriotic song anyway the lyrics of the USSR anthem is just beautiful I never heard an anthem so much about its country and people

The channel RSFSR focus mostly on national anthems and without any particular opinion. I'll try to make the unpopular anthem of Russia Patriotic Song to give more attention. I have said before that Patriotic Song is the anthem of Russia and the Soviet Anthem for Soviet Union ;)

Patriotic song represents freedom and thus should be the anthem once again.
I agree it represents freedom but Yeltsin went too far with his job. In 1991 people wanted freedom because USSR was collapsing, but after Yeltsin took over he began to cause problems which soured relations between himself and his people, so they wanted communism or just Yeltsin out after that.
