I've been retired for years, but when I did work, I just had ONE file. It was a MS-Word file, and I'd write the date for every note, and a code, and type my note. Every phone call had a note. But with the find function of MS-Word, and almost never using file cabinet, I had a super fast ability to find what I wanted to find.
Feels bad to see your comment is ignored by Tom.
Great comment 👍 and Thanks for sharing. Huge respect for you Sir.
I use just use roam research for every note, project management , deep thinking. Occasionally use apple notes or drafts. Works for me. I love it.
14:15 Notion have improved a lot in last weeks, you can easily put information in anywhere in the system through quick capture in the new mobile layout, through IPhone shortcuts or in a e-mail third party extension.
And right now has global search outside the app.
Not friction anymore.
The productivity world updates fast.
Thanks so much for the heads up! I'll check those new updates in Notion out again! 🙌
Great content as always! Concepts really matters! 🎉
Very important Video. MUST SEE! Thank you Tom
Tom, the production value of your videos are still through the roof!
Hey Clement!! Great to see you're still around! Wanna catch up? Send me an email my friend 🙌
Great content thank you
Great stuff, Tom - what you have to say makes a lot of sense. 👊😎
Thanks a lot for your feedback! More to come 🚀✨
Thank you so much, you solve my problem ❤❤
Thanks - good points made! I use Notability as I am re-freshing my engineering maths and mechanics knowledge. I tried a few note taking apps including Apple Notes but only Notability has given me granular control of how I wish to form maths notation and formulae (Notability has ipmpressive tools for creating maths equations in Latex) and also to allow resizing of shapes. Of the others I liked Apple Notes the most - and would use it now if it had the capabilities I just mentioned. I think an app combining the best of Notability with what's coming from Apple, would make an excellent tool for students and workers in engineering and the sciences.👍
Why no mention of notion as final distinction?! I have love hate relationship with it I love I can build the full thing there but I hate that instead of doing the work and capture long term information I will just keep enhancing it it is like Minecraft or Lego that’s easy to change and you never satisfied with what you built 🤷🏼♂️
I didn’t mention Notion as I was sharing my setup.
