- We recently caught up with the guys in IDLES at their in-store show at Sheffield's Record Junkee following the release of their stunning second album "Joy as an Act of Resistance".
Guitarist and Hiwatt Artist Mark Bowen joined us downstairs in Music Junkee to talk about his gear and love of Hiwatt.

I didn't realise that I got used to seeing guitarists stand around and not do much on stage, seeing these guys live was amazing! They shook the entire room and filled it with positive energy!
If he pronounces “gain” as “gehhn,” you know he knows how to dial in a good tone.
Discovered these guys last summer, and only now have I found out that Mark is Irish. Good to see a fellow man of the isles keeping punk alive.

Mark is an amazing guitarist. He does his thing but could out play anyone today.

Zombehnation1001 Well I’ve lived in Northern Ireland all my life. Any time I’ve visited the Republic it feels pretty different to me, as different as England and Scotland feel.
