It's a great compact SUV, bought one in spring 2024. Mine is the Adventure trim, and the cold weather package. What makes it better than the LE and XLE trims is the torque vectoring AWD system, higher ground clearance, standard Softtex seats and more rugged front end. It doesn't have the additional convenience package w/ the moon roof or power lift gate, don't need them. I hope Toyota remodels the 6th generation and takes design cues from the 4Runner. Make it like a mini 4Runner, boxy and more off-road capable.
The idea for that is they want you to be able to be able to see it without looking and taking out your eye off the road as much plus if you hold onto the top of the screen, you can easier adjust the buttons if you want to change something. Certainly better when backing up also, you can see the screen what’s behind you.😁💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
we have 2023 RAV4 hybrid xle with 74k miles life time mpg in 47.3 mpg we drive very conservative and still have original tires and brakes cars been very reliable and efficient that’s what your paying for not the look we bought red seat covers and blacked out cars out side Crome and rims with dark tint and RAV4 look really better after
I loved the reviews of RAV 4 since 2020 but I have changed my mind to get Subaru forester next year. RAV4 has over heating issue. Not a best suited for off-road as Subaru does.
At 6' 1" I wack my head if I try to sit in one. No room. That's one of the many reasons I bought a Forester instead. Same with the Camry which I wanted to like.
Yeah, good catch! That’s why there’s an asterisks in the title and it’s mentioned in my description. 2025s are unchanged and already being produced out of the Canadian plant. It’s just easier to put miles on and do a 0-60 on a non completely brand new one, when the opportunity presents itself.
@ I like it a lot. I think they should have tuned the suspension for sports mode though. It rolls a little on tight winding roads. And NO spare or room for a spare!! They leave a place for it but it’s not big enough space for a donut.I am going to be looking at the Outbacks for another car we are replacing.
The RAV4 isn’t a bad car, but somehow doesn’t have the heart and soul, the whimsy and fun of the Forester. Visibility is not quite as good, the rear storage area isn’t as boxy, and the plastics look less rugged. The AWD system of the Forester is a full blown version, with a always spinning drive shaft to the rear, while Toyota with their hybrids makes due with an electric motor that runs only when traction is lost, only has 55 horsepower max, which maybe isn’t enough for sticky situations. It will be interesting when Subaru does have its own full-blown hybrid where they intentionally retain their AWD system; but I hope that this time it is a sincere effort with much better fuel economy & hopefully not with a drastic increase in price, as it had with previous hybrid Crosstrek models. I almost bought the original 1st generation of the RAV4 in 2017 but interestingly the highway gas mileage was worse than the Forester I ended up getting.
We just bought a new car 2 weeks ago and we looked at a new Rav4, Mazda CX-50 and Honda Civic. We ended up getting a 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Glad we picked the Outback. It’s just a fun, quality and awesome car and a lot more unique than the others. The others are great too, don’t get me wrong, but the Subaru just hits the spot. Thanks for the video
Im sure you know I love the Outback Wilderness haha. I’m glad you test drove a variety of cars which helped you pick the best one for your situation. Thanks for watching!!
It could be, just depends on the opportunity cost of $3k extra up front will be made back in driving within a reasonable time frame. Also hybrids have better resale so there’s that too!

I just bought one today XLE AWD weather pkg and convince pkg. I’ve only owned it 8 hours 🎉
I JUST BOUGHT ONE TODAY 🎉❤🎉
Congrats!!
I’m planning on buying one soon. Did you receive a fair price?
Is it 2025 ?
Which trim and how much OTD?

Thanks for sharing this!!
I just want Toyota to keep the RAV4 non hybrid options for the next generation.

I’m sorry to hear that. Was yours a hybrid or not? Subaru’s are awesome!

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 thanks for info
The screen sticking up out of the dash drives me nuts.
It’s not for everyone. I actually like these hybrid RAV4s more and more each time I drive them. How are you enjoying your new Toyota?

You need to list in the title that this is hybrid. Don't want explosions in my garage or a $10,000 dollar replace battery cost in 10 years thanks.
Is the mpg for hybrid worth the price?

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 I'm in the market now for a second car looking at Lexus ES models and hybrid models are no more than the V6.
