You are soo mean!
How could you leave us with such a cliffhanger at the end..😂😂
Gotcha good!!!!!
@@TheInja haha
@TheInja no longer watching due to how this video was ended.
Dudeeee..... 😅
@@TruckerZRoadGangFan because the video is over right?
Cant wait to fire this thing up next week. Really hoping it runs AND drives with no issues. Lets go 🔥
Nice cliffhanger. I hope you chased the old oil out with some cheap stuff first 🤞👽🔧🎬
Let's go. A good oil flush and change that oil again after a couple hundred miles will make all the difference.
You need to run it. And change the oil again
Man that's going to be awesome!!
Next week? Probably more like another 3 weeks 😂
Some people put diesel fuel in oil, crank motor over, then drain diesel fuel out to clear out sludge out of the motor.
i wouldn't try that with a McLaren lol
the better option is ATF. replace one quart with ATF
I used to put a quart of atf in just before I changed the oil to clean the engine a bit. I also would do the diesel with just enough oil to lube the engine at idle and run it 15 minutes to do a major engine flush then new filter and oil.
I would have added cheap oil and amsol engine cleaner to first fill up then flush and redo
Yeah that's the plan. But I have to run the engine first in order to flush it.
@@TheInjayeh but that's the point in the cheap oil and flush, you run it on that first, then once clean, Then you put your good oil in.
1. MUST do another oil change after driving it maybe 100 miles but go ahead and add the additive before hand.
2. NEVER remove a transmission drain plug on any car before you loosen the fill plug first just in case anything happens with the fill plug at lease you still have some lube inside.
3. DAMN IT, I so wanted to hear it start lmao but no worries I’ll be back watching your next vid!
For sure!
I just came to the comments to suggest number 2. I would never drain a tranny or diff without making sure the fill plug came out first!
Great video I would be looking at replacing the oil again once it be started and warmed up
Those bronze wheels are so nice looking on that car, colors are perfect!
Agreed. So stoked to see the whole thing complete, very soon! 🙌🏽
That explosion when you plug in the battery always makes me laugh.
My favorite RUclips project at the moment. I'm going to be equally happy and sad when it is complete. Keep up the great work.
Bro I've seen most of your videos and by far this project is one of the best ones, honestly you inspire me brotha, "Build your Dream." Cheers, much success to you and everyone following along
Appreciate you. Thanks Luis 🙌🏽
Thank god those awful rims are gone. Looking great bud
So much better. 🔥
Love your videos and this series is killer Inja! Can't wait to see the finished car!
Oh man, missed this post but here now. Like folks have said you're getting so close. You going to keep it and enjoy being able to have another cool car to play with 👍 It's been a fun trip watching you on your journey to where you are now.
Fantastic video! Just a friendly reminder to all, if you purchase the non-premixed coolant and mix it yourself in a bucket that has a gallon of water in it, it will save you money and you get 2 for the price of one!
One of the best rebuild series I’ve watched. Definitely see you going far as a RUclipsr, can’t wait for the next one👌🏻
Appreciate you 💯 means a lot. Looking forward to getting this thing finished!
Absolutely brilliant buddy, can’t wait to see the next video👍
Now that was some chucky oil!!!!! and you got pranked by liitle dude 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but in the end .... Inja gets the last laugh....AGAIN ....lmfaoooo
Haha! All of the above! 🙌🏽
I was so anxious waiting for you video Inja, hope nothing bad with your motor I am just commenting before watching he video.
Hats off to you bro you're good that's on my list of one of the coolest cars on the planet in comparison that lambo did not make that list. That's a very special car and the work that you have done is amazing
I can't wait for the body work. It will look so cool. 👍👍
Bro, I'm so stoked for it. Gonna be an amazing time making this thing look like a million bucks.
If you do have a problem with the ac pipe, just fit flexi pipe from the lower straight pipe that will have sealed to the fitting the upper pipe had come from. This would solve your problem from a fitting to close to a bend that distorts the pipe and proves difficult to get a sealed joint. Keep it on mate. You’ve nearly done the said impossible.
Keep up with the uploads bro!
i can see you blowing up in the automotive scene in yt with your discipline
Appreciate you!
Did you ever consider the reason why you only got 4.5 quarts of engine oil out of the engine may well be as there is still 3.5 quarts of sludge in the engine. It may be beneficial to put an engine flush in, run the engine per instructions, then change the oil and filter again, then possibly again at 500 miles or so. Just to be on the safe side.
Absolutely will be doing that. 👊🏽
Man, I wouldn't have taken the chance with the AC pipes. A.lot of extra work if they leak. Good luck with the rest of the build.
Love this! The cliff hanger is awesome.
Best part of the video in my opinion 😏
Exactly my point, there’s no skill or saving in that. It’s much more of a win when you repair something. Good to see a different approach that’s not just disassembling and reassembling
Awesome progress bro. Nice to see someone repairing a car rather than just spending thousands on a load of new parts and chucking repairable parts out .
Agreed. A lot of the content on RUclips now is just "buy a ton of OEM parts from the dealership and slap it on"
Its almost done bro!! Im pumped 😎
Looking forward to dat first drive 😏
Fantastic work watching your RUclips for the first time in the uk. 😁
Glad you worked out those A/C lines! Don't forget to change the o-rings!
Legendary episode!
And if you run trouble of leaking hose clamps again. They make a lot better ones than those worm gear type clamps. Those tend to loosen over time. Great work fixing the mc👍😎
Appreciate it! Yeah, looking back on it, I should have done premium hose clamps throughout....just didn't know those existed at the time really. 😅
What a talent and what an inspiration you are, honestly, hats off to you 🙌🙌
Appreciate you 💯
Tell me about it Adam. He is, I'm not.
For the A/C lines, you need to put a dye in the line and check for leaks using UV light
that oil sample was crazy
Yet another cliffhanger! But I'm okay with it, you've had months of anticipation, it's only fair to share some of that with us too.
Facts
*Aweome video ! Would perform 2-3 oil change quickly to clean that engine ... Cheers from France*
FFFf yeaaaaaah, I use to watch you a couple years a go with the chinese electric motor bike. them for som reason I moved on to other channels. This McLaren build is so awesome I found your channel again!!!! keep it going!!!!
Let's gooooo 🔥 Welcome back!
Hope and pray it works for you
I knew from the getgo that this would be the cliffhanger for that episode :)
Dawgnabit!! you did it again with the cliff hanger. lol!!! shame on me this time.
It’s always a good idea to fill your engine to the correct amount, use the cheapest oil you can find to the right spec. Run up your car to get the right temp and a few revs of the engine, or if possible a short run out. Then re drain the oil. If it’s still in a bad state or heavily coloured then repeat the exercise. This won’t waste good oil and clear your engine out. Don’t use engine flush as this can do your engine harm.
Igniting the journey ahead!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Use nitrogen to pressurize system serves 2 purposes allowing a high pressure test a few hundred psi above operating pressures assures you of no leaks and the nitrogen acts as a drying agent removing non condensables from the system
Cracking job mate I remember it
Looking good
Gotta get one of those quick jacks, my guy!
the oil should have been drained when engine is up to temp and you have to remember the mclaren engine will have high tolerences in it so you would expect a little contamination as the car would have been beat on as long as the next oil changes there is less contamination then regular oil changes will help but glad to see you wrenchin on it again cheers from down under
Nice cliff hanger!!🤣 Thanks for the inspiration to go work on my 600LT!
I’m not 100% sure but I think with everything being changed with regards to liquids the rear spoiler might need to be recalibrated and also the suspension might need to be adjusted but these things can only be done by McLaren because they use a special machine
I seriously question why I was put on earth when I watch your channel. You are so multi talented, and I am not, even just a little bit. Good onya chap. Inja is like a wart, he grows on you.
Youve got talent too, can be hard to realize sometimes
@@BillGriffin77 hard work beats talent!
@@BillGriffin77 Dead correct, hard to realise. I am 67 and never had a talent for anything to be fair. Nice positive words anyways, Cheers.
You should’ve used the CRC Motor Flush that I recommended bc it would’ve cleaned out that sludge.
For those of you that dont know already, the ending of this video is just his style of RUclips video, always, ALWAYS, leaves the video with the cliffhanger, will it or wont it kinda thing, saw this ending coming a mile off! Get used to it folks!
Let's go! We've been waiting bro.
You should allways loosen the fill plug first when changing gearbox or diff oil
I am really hoping for you, but I ve never seen oil so bad come out of an engine that was ok. Fingers crossed this is the first
Dude you better not make us wait so long to see this thing fire up. We will not be happy 😂
Coming this week 😏
Ahh yess. A cliffhanger now i cant think of anything else than if it runs😂😂
If you think it’s good enough, then it’s not good enough. Keep at it until no move movement
44:30 the best part
I'm really hoping that all your hard work is going to pay off. The oil looks pretty bad, but this car has been stood for a long long time remember also could it have lost oil from an oil cooler in accident?
I have a lot more respect for you bro, I would have lost half way through all that pluming
Took a lot of focus, that's for sure. 💯
That unknown coolant line is probably a windshield wiper fluid line
Nah I know where that one is.
Sad to say dude, if that engine is not hurt it will be a miracle. Horrible sludge, bearing material..and water does not bode well for it. Fingers crossed!
Agreed. 🫠
You should change the oil again after running it for at least 2 days, to flush the system out
Hi bro use transmission fluid the red to clean the engine out
Cool video up until the end
Haha new video this week to continue it.
Ive seen you in town. I have the red huracan. You may have seen me too. Good luck with your build bro.
Yeah I remember you. 👊🏽 Thanks man!
Afternoon mate
Always remove the fill plug on the diff/trans, just in case that you can't open it after you emptied it.
Ooo yeah good call
Yay. Hey Inja that's a nice shirt you got there.
i wonder how many months he had to wait for it to arrive...
@@patcaza6166😅😅😅
@@TheInja you think its funny ?
man, wow...
I really like the rims that came with the car
$400 and they're all yours 😆
If i where you i scould change the oil after 5-10 miles and the BMW oil filter.
Every were in the engine you have that bad oil. Maby 1 liter total in diffrent aerea.
Canal in the block or crankshaft all the tubing IN the engine.
For sure.
i don't remember seeing any videos of you owning a KAWASAKI ZX14. it appears to have a small stretch and a 2 BROTHERS slip-on exhaust. mine was stretched when i bought it but i have put it back to stock length.
You should carry one of them VTMOMAN in the Tesla frunk
4:25 That huge split in the carbon fibre tub, top left in this timestamp, doesn't bother you? Bothers me! I hope you get that checked bro!
Them compression fittings need to be tight. I used a vice to hold them when I tightened them.
Epic ending lol
should’ve dad got some cheap oil, ran the car for like 10-15 minutes, drained it and maybe did that one more time or did the actual oil change then
I'd consider once you get it running to change the oil again.
For sure
If AC dose leak try ptfe tape on the threads.
So this cliffhanger is the nuclear explosion we heard about in the States, from Europe...
Good long one
You must use an engine flush, then after that put the oil, because you will just waste your good oil with the sludge
Love leaving us on a cliffhanger
It's my favorite thing to do in the whole world :)
I'm pretty sure that extra AC line is just a drip drain to ground for condensation. Every car has one.
Liqui Moli engine flush at the very least. The metallic particles could be from break in ......or abuse. Either way, they need to be flushed out.
Your use of pliers and crescent wrenches to tighten nuts and bolts are cringe in a funny way but from one salvage car builder to another it's all love for ya brotha!!!
What a cliffhanger! 😂
Only the hangiest for you guys 🫶🏽
It is low but not low enough to not have any wheel gap so I bought some kw springs for mine 💪🏾
Yeah, may need to lower it! Would look WAAAAY better.
Send me a photo of yours and the spring kit you bought for yours! injamotorcycles@gmail.com
@@TheInja sure can brother. The biggest selling point to me is that you can modify the height to your liking
Curse the cliffhangers!!! 😂😂
😎😎😎
Dang it!
I thought I would finally ear it purr
Very soon!!
42:59 nice 😎
😏
Hope that aluminium is not an issue and she runs sweet. Car needs a name.
Got a suggestion? 😏
@@TheInja Not really but there’s a Clare in M Clare N 🤷🏼♂️😁
@@derekcrowe2886 that's actually the cutest thing I've ever heard. Might just stick
@@TheInja 🤗
You need to buy some engine flush Ams oil makes a good product you add it get the engine to operating temperature and then change the oil again spend the money on everything and do it. It will help get all that buildup and sludge out.
Then drive it 500 miles and change the oil again try to save the engine
You should also use a cheaper oil since you’re just gonna basically flush it and change it right afterwards
Yeah, it's what I had at the time. I'm not too worried about it, just will be happy if it runs right. :) worth the extra $20 of oil if so!
In the words of my people. Wanker!. Such a cliffhanger. Great stuff so far.
Hahaha
You should absolutely do another oil change after you fire it up.
No doubt!
I would change the oil again after it had a few some heat cycles.
That's the plan!
25;58 have a taste test 😂
Hahahaha
