- The Chinese scammer, Han Tony, "refunded" me a couple nights ago, but only on his conditions. hahaha. He demanded he can't wire the funds back to me and that only paypal or a chinese bank works for him. the scam continues, as I believe this is still part of his scam script. Why else would he go through paypal, paying with his credit card? The exact thing he WOULDN'T let me do when I was paying him.

Buying a vehicle from China 101. Don't buy a car on Alibaba, never. Go to the company website and get their details. Call or email them from there. Even people here in China don't go to Alibaba because it's a sketchy site.

If you used paypal to pay seller, then u need to inform paypal with details and you will get full refund. Thats what happened to me with at least two sellers from China. But the item I ordered were high spec computers.

I bought a bunch of vacuum parts from china from AliExpress, like $5- $10 parts. All were as expected and absolutely no issues with the order, with the delivery, anything . All timely and proper. Surprisingly good quality as well. It just depends on what you are trying to buy. I'd love to buy one of those crazy 3 wheeler cement truck moped scooters. lol

usually something delivered makes it more legit... like giving you a vase in a box thats supposed to hold a dyson vacuum... yes, this guy showed up to my store and told me you probably wont believe me but this is what i got. I looked at the box and you can see that someone taped the bottom. and put all the styrofoam and then tightened things up with a wood board and vase so it had some heft and no movement. we refuneded the money because we couldnt legit tell if this guy was scamming us or he got scammed after someone had returned the item prior and didnt catch the original return fraud...

I am in Australia, have purchased a few things on Alibaba in the past and was interested in a cheap (too good to be true) Chinese EV, I was dealing with Han, Tony of 'Zibong' and he was asking me to email him of my interest in his EV (I was looking at buying his pickup truck), why does he ask me to email off of the Alibaba platform?......because he is a bonafide scammer......when I questioned him and suggested he was a scammer, he said "Ask the stupid guy who posted the video. We have refunded him money and he promised to remove the video. But now. He threaten us to pay him much more money and then. Delete the video. Who is scam ???? You ask him called inja! He is trying to scam us now !" So that is when I first looked for, found and watched your earlier video

The same is true in Russia and most other countries. In the US you can only export 10K in cash at a time for instance. This is why wire and other forms are the way to actually get around such things and allow tracking.

That's the scam. Send them fake car without paying any fees. Don't reply. Buyer gets desperate, thinks they lost all their money. Respond to buyer after a while. Play dumb and give partial refund , keeping thousands of dollars. Repeat.

Same bait and switch, excuses, attempts to get more money, threats to expose me as a scammer; the whole lot. What I did have was positive identification and address etc, even through my bank. What I didn't have was the money to get me there to beat him with a sock full of his own shit. So, being poor probably kept me out of a chinese prison haha

So how were you planning to import a non crash tested, non certified car into the USA? The only way a non-compliant car can be imported to the USA is if it's 25 years old, or if it is a Low Speed Vehicle, (basically a golf cart). Anything else is subject to seizure at customs. The only reason this car was even allowed through customs was because it is Low Speed Vehicle. A street legal golf cart that is only allowed to go 25mph in most states.

I was scammed also thru PayPal from another vendor with the same scheme, I order an electronic portable washing machine, they sent me just a plastic bowl. When I tried to return it , the shipping would cost me more of what I paid for the trinket that I paid for

You can pay an international inspection service ie...SGS to verify the item prior to final payment. The cost of the inspection service is peanuts compared to the loss taken on this car purchase.

If he is sending photos directly, I’d take a look at the Exif data in them and see if you can get this guys’ location.
Not that this is an excuse for what he did, there is a bit of truth to what he's saying. The Chinese government, for the last 10 years, has been preventing money from leaving the country due to tax evasion. Wiring funds into the country is easy but, getting it out is very difficult. Since PayPal is a non-chinese company, it makes it easier to get the money out.

I'm glad you are exposing this. Enough stories like this and maybe people will realize these scams are not worth the risk.

Yeah, my experiences with them say otherwise. They'll make a decision and give you no option to appeal. Good luck even getting a human to actually take 5 seconds to help you or do anything.
Why you sending anyone in China that kind of money without making sure it's not scam?

Scammers always do reverse psychology on victims I've been through that route 😠 but end up with the short end of the stick😂

And how old are your kids? I would imagine anyone over the age of 8 would know better then to do this.
Red flags:
1.) if it sounds too good to be true, it's a scam
2.) grammatical errors, misspelled words and/or inconsistent information/data
3.) poor customer service from the beginning
Scammers are literally everywhere nowadays so we all have to do our due diligence in researching whatever business we're thinking about doing business with.
KEEP IT POSTED! He has no incentive to refund you! He is scamming others along the way and stringing you along! They are pricing at the edge of total unrealistic! They sent you something to say that “we did send you a car” but they sent that one also because most wont pay for undoing that whole process! All of which diminishes the likelihood of a refund!! ITS A SCAM!!!
Damn i feel like having the cash is nice but it should be full amount and honestly i think it is best not to take payment and look further into it never know where his money comes from
