Arcane was/is an AMAZING show full of amazing characters, music, and a storyline that had us all hooked (and crying). From the second I finished episode 1, I knew I was going to make a video about it. So imagine my surprise when EKKO who is not only the mascot of this channel but one of my favorite characters from ANY media shows up! I knew I just HAD to do something for him. Here is: Ekko, The Boy Savior!

I can honestly see Ekko being the person that will save everyone in Season 2
He has such a good heart for a person that has witnessed so much trauma, he‘ll definetly do something big in season 2
Or season 4 but how far will he go to do that by that I mean the past

I agree, most likely not directly, like, VI will mess up and something big will happen, and Ekko will rewind time so she can succeed the second time or something like that.

I read a comment saying that you can predict when a character is a their peak of development through their eye color. Blue is when they get their arc. Ekko's eyes were grey and at the end their were a moment where they were green, showing that he'll be developed in other seasons. I hope that it's true cuz c'mon he's too cool to not get developed
To me he wasn't a side character, and with season two coming up and him partnering up with heimerdinger, I'm pretty sure he'll become as important if not more than the others with his clepsydra

My man organizes an entire commune in less than a decade, rescues hundreds of people from addiction and oppression, uses secondhand tech to make them into a formidable fighting force, and is what? fifteen? and super ripped, and they make him a side character? He's everything Silco wishes he could be.
Edit: I now realize that he is not fifteen. Sorry I don't have that perfectly right. My point is that, from the time he lost everything to becoming a young man (still a teen I think?) he did more than Silco accomplished in decades. The obsessive well actuallys are quite unnecessary, thanks.

Ekko is such a cool character I like the way he carrying himself as a leader and a badass at the same time he’s definitely my favorite character on the show he steals every scene he’s in.

What’s cool is that in my head he was the last of Vanders family and I guess with that came with the respect that people saw in him. I’m also betting that he earned more peoples respect by doing everything in his power to protect said people
He needs more screentime in the show man. Hopefully next season.

How dope is ekko to become a fan favorite with like 5 minutes of screentime total. Shits crazy!
It was a little more than that but the point comes across all the same
Ekko, and the rebellion he created, is easily one of the coolest parts of arcane. Genuinely love his part of the story
3:10 He could have absolutely made a one liner there, but instead pulled out the pocket watch. BADASS.
Watching this, it really hammers home the fact that despite what Silco said about giving the people of Zaun what they "deserve", he really was just on a path of revenge and power for himself. If he really wanted better for the undercity, he wouldn't be feeding them Shimmer, using child labor to create said Shimmer, thus destroying and abusing the very people he claims to protect. Ekko gave them a home, safety, and the hope to not only survive the abuse and exploitation they go through, but also LIVE after it. He's everything Silco claimed to be. I do hope he gets more screentime in season 2 because he's the best character, in my opinion.
Fun fact:Ekko's Nickname in Brazil is "Chefinho" that means "Little Boss" in english and he nailed the nickname after being the leader of firelights
Friends keep telling me to watch Arcane. After watching this, I think I'll listen to them; appreciate it man.

I never watched any shows til the end because I simply don't like them. I didn't even have Netflix account. Until my friends finally made me watch Arcane with them. Guess who bingwatches it for 5 time already?

I came into this show not knowing anything about LoL except the Jinx in the trailers. Ekko came out of this as one of my favorite characters. He felt, to me, like the one character that could claim the title "Hero" from this story. Everyone else bounces back and forth, Vi is no hero, she's doing this for vengeance. Against Silco, against Sevika. She wants the old Powder back at any cost. Jayce and Viktor start out wanting to do good, but Jayce gets wrapped up in political intrigue and Viktor loses himself to his work, both doing things they wouldn't normally. Caitlyn has a lot to prove, to her parents, her peers, Vi. She "needs" to solve this case, then she "needs" to fix the damage Piltover has done to Zaun.
Ekko witnessed his father-figure brutally murdered, his childhood crush go insane and violent, and his big sister figure believed to be dead. Yet he became the leader of a resistance. Against the injustice of the Enforcers, the corruption of Silco. He never once takes credit, claiming he couldn't have done any of it alone. When a Firelight is hurt or dies, he feels it. He tries to save everyone. And even after claiming Powder is gone there is only Jinx. After being prepared to sacrifice himself, entrusting Caitlyn with the gemstone (not knowing it wasn't there), telling Vi to take her and go... he faces his childhood crush, the woman responsible for the death of many of his people. He shows his growth in overcoming her when he could not as a child. He beats her, and could easily end her-- but then he sees Powder. Not Jinx. And he hesitates. A hesitation that nearly costs him his life.
I feel that he may have had time to reflect now, the next time we see him in Season 2. He may realize that while Powder is fully Jinx, they are one and the same person. She is just a broken girl, betrayed and abandoned. Left in the clutches of a monster. He can't save her because she doesn't need saving. She needs to know she isn't alone. He'll go on to keep saving who he can. He's a hero, he's no murderer.
the differences between ekko and jinx are so similar and different at the same time, its something captured so well in this show, and even better by this video. good work like always man keep it up
Ekko was the best character 100%. Goes from a little kid to the most badass character in the show. His philosophy is such an interesting one, and by far shows hes the person who cares the most for the undercity
If we do get a season 2, i really hope we get more focus on Ekko

I like that you used some of the footage from the Enemy music video. In the show itself, we don't have many scenes of young Powder and young Ekko playing together as kids, which is a shame. I feel like they should have added some, it would have made the episode 7 scene even more powerful. The music video does provide a lot of those though.
