- in his idle animation looks like he's about to do a move and it gets confusing sometimes. also, funny how all 3 Landmaster users got the same replacement Final Smash in Ultimate.

i love how when brawl footage is shown the music is intense and loud and when ultimate is shown its calm and quiet

I don't like how Wolf's howl was shortened
That, and his Down Taunt sounds funny in Ultimate, instead of intimidating

I like his idle stance in Brawl way more. It's a lot more feral looking. And his voice... I don't know if it was the voice actors fault or the direction they gave him, but he didn't do the greatest job reprising the role.

Fun fact: In Ultimate, when Wolf picks up a capsule, X bomb or another item with a similar size and shape, he will get his Brawl idle animation back.

Wolf's voice in Ultimate is more accurate to his Star Fox 64 counterpart, plus his animations were definitely improved, but his roar taunt is just pitiful, absolutely atrocious, 1/10

I think wolfs older move set was way better then this recent stuff....
Based, I feel like they've wanted him to be a less movement oriented character but the problem with that is that if wolf is already slow by removing his movement options like the longer up b and the dashing side smash they've kinda doomed him in trying to make him another type of character
brawl wolf looks a bit janky and rushed, glad he was fixed in ultimate. only thing i have a problem with is his voice. i understand the same actor reprised his role and just had to do new voice lines, i prefer brawl’s voice much better. sounds more intimidating, as well as sound effects.
I feel like it's better to make him feel somewhat janky because it separates him a lot from the like non chaotic nature that fox has as a character, I understand that wolf feels like a somewhat clone of fox in every instance, but in ultimate they seem to double down by trying to make him feel more tame and not as movement centered like it's in brawl

Totally, they've seemed to just want to make wolf a less move oriented character due to him being a starfox character which most of the time they're fast, however the thing with wolf is that he is slow buuuuut he has movement options and if you don't double down on that then you're killing the character essentially

Well yeah but it was more about the fact that he looked janky compared with how fox was so adjusted and fix it was basically a same moveset contrast, which is also partly a clone character however it doubled down on trying to make fox but unhinged and thus also making him be balanced due to him being slow but having a lot of movement options, old wolf is basically a different take on how fox moveset could be meanwhile smash ultimate it's a bit half baked not getting all the way there kind of character, like you can see they're trying to emulate wolf from brawl but they're cutting so much of the character that it essentially kills his meta gimmick of being slow moving fox but with movement options that aren't specials

I do not know why I cannot play as the Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wolf in Super Smash Bros Ultimate...since even Ike gets his _Brawl_ design as a palette swap. Brawl > Ultimate.

Why did they ruin Wolf?!! He was awesome in Brawl and sounded amazing, Ultimate looks like a cheap version of him with poor fighting movements and a weak taunt. Thanks a lot Nintendo :(
