- Herodotus and Thucydides are considered the founders of the study of history. They wrote about the Greek Persian wars and Peloponnesian wars. It was in relation to these wars that they developed their ideas of liberty and criticisms of democracy.

Idk if Dr Taimur Rehman considers himself or his teachings as liberal, they are more radical if anything.
He wants you to be a communist not a liberal
He does teach in a certain section of his channel Marx, communist philosophy.
But, listening to each part of each series will leave one at one's disposal to be what one thinks is reasonable.

Sir and dear comrade, you started with the question that I have been thinking ki why should I start with the greeks even though I started reading Plato, Heraclitus at the beginning and not get into Egyptian philosophy or Vedanta philosophy. Mr. Taimur I have been a huge fan of your last philosophy lessons series a few years back but I humbly request you to decrease "over acting factor" of your work please. Being an ordinary student or philosophy I suggest this subject needs a serious attention like you people. GL Sire !
That overacting is what makes the class interesting and don't let the students get bored.
I'm a teacher myself and trust me entertainment is really really important in teaching in learning. That's how we keep the students entertained

movies are meant for entertainment, it's better to read books. I have wasted half a dozen years and watched 1000+ movies and 40+ long TV shows, it was mostly a waste of time. If I had just read 100 books during that time it would've been so much better
I've learnt So Many things From Movies. Or mere khyal se Learn krne se Zayda Important Unlearn krna hota hai. So Movies Helped Me to Unlearn a Lot of Things. My Prejudices, My Stereotypical Approach Toward Things And List Goes on. Books have their own Audience. Movies have Their Own.
